Pacific Chiropractic:…read more I've been to a lot of chiropractors for my back pain and occasional tweaking and I've found Dr. McDowell to be the best so far. I personally do not go to get an adjustment every week, but I do go when I know I'm out of adjustment and he treats me well every time and does not hound me about coming on a regular basis. He's low key and works with me to solve a problem with the right solution (like stretching instead of multiple adjustments) - even when it means not making more money. He's got a great a demeanor and attitude and I've always felt comfortable. He spends way more time with me that any other chiropractor ever has and even accommodated me on a Sunday with only a couple days notice. I can't say enough good about him and his methods. He has a small office that is in a somewhat unexpected place, but it's professional and has everything any other office had except for all the self-serving promotional pamphlets. If only my mechanic were the same way......

Eva has completely transformed my life, my children's lives, and many others I have enjoyed sharing…read morestories about Eva over the years. I went to her with awful allergies initially. 3 different traditional doctors told me doing allergy tests wouldn't help because I would need claritin or zyrtec & and flonase/steroid nasal sprays ... forever. She helped me understand the root cause with kinesiology identifying allergic/sensitive foods for me specifically. I was eating dairy and wheat and that was overloading my liver. In the winter: no allergies, in spring: crazy hay fever. So I didn't realize it was my diet. I also had a chronically bad lower back and needed adjustments every 6-10 weeks and sadly I didn't realize that was "chronic". First visit, I held 50 vials by my chest as she muscle-tested my arm and she said I was allergic to 6 of them - dairy & wheat were in my diet and were far more important than pollen or White Oak or dogs or whatever I wasn't eating. I covered the vials and skeptically asked her to do it again. Guessing Yes/No correctly 5 times: 1 in 32. 50 times correctly: 1 in 1,125,899,906,842,624. I knew that number was large enough to trust beyond a shadow of a doubt that kinesiology worked and that she could get feedback from my body ... or she was a magician. I still believe that also ... she laughs and says: "It's in the books, it's not magic". I started to completely trust Eva from that moment. Her answers have been exponentially better than "stories and strategies" from traditional medicine. Even one ND that did blood work for a friend identified she was sensitive to 17 things ... but sadly did not help her know what actions to take. She couldn't avoid pollen, mold, grass, etc. I emphatically shared with her Eva's message: "Don't eat what you are allergic to!! That uses up ~90% of our liver's capacity to digest allergens." I shared that message with her in 5 minutes driving her across town ... and she told me one month later that I changed her life. The right answers CAN change our lives! What if you are suffering still because you just haven't found the right answers yet? Tell her everything! Figure it out! Happy Healing!

I'm writing this review based on my experiences and also on behalf of my husband. He was a patient…read moreof Dr. Whitmore for many years and I know if he could write a review for her he would give her 5 stars. He began seeing Dr. Whitmore about 7 years ago. He had some minor back issues. She worked with him on adjustments as well as a nutritional/supplemental plan to restore his body to health. He was a big guy about 50 pounds overweight and didn't exercise much if at all. He was experiencing issues with gluten intolerance and digestion issues. Working with her on subtle dietary changes, taking supplements and adjustments to his body he was able to eat gluten again. He also saw considerable improvement in digestion problems. My husband was diagnosed with gastric cancer at the age of 36. Dr. Whitmore was incredibly helpful from the moment we found out about the diagnosis. She worked with his oncologist to compliment the chemotherapy and radiation treatments he was receiving. She worked to boost his immune system and deal with the side effects of the chemo and other meds (constipation and nausea). She was so wonderful. Unfortunately my husband lost his battle with cancer, it was caught too late. But I am confident that her treatments made his life more comfortable while he was receiving chemotherapy. Prior to my husband's illness I also saw Dr. Whitmore and had a great experience. I had been having a bit of acne on my cheeks for nearly a year. This was something very unusual for me, I never really had much acne as a teenager. Then suddenly at 38 I had it on my cheeks all the time. I tried nearly every cream, balm and soap I could find and nothing would make it fully go away. Dr. Whitmore gave me a supplement that had lots of garlic in it. After a few weeks it totally went away and never came back. I've had nothing but positive experiences with her. It is not cheap to see Dr. Whitmore, but she is worth every penny.

As a person currently undergoing chemotherapy for breast cancer, I've been in desperate need of…read morebodywork - but finding the right CMT to give me precisely what my body needs, and what my body can handle, is a challenge. I need more than a Swedish massage or someone who just moves the lymph around, but my body can't take the deep deep myofascial "please rip my back apart" pressure that I'm accustomed to asking for when I get a massage. Because of this, it can be hard to communicate what I need, either before the session or in the moment, and when I'm on the table, it makes it hard for me to relax and drop in and trust. Joanna started off our session by asking me what/where my body needed work, then synced up with me with some breathing techniques, which created a sense of safety and helped me to relax. Her hands-on technique provided the perfect balance - incorporating techniques which addressed my tension with a balance of strength (satisfying pressure!) and mechanics (she located and worked muscle groups around my acute points of pain). It's not often that I get a massage that isn't totally masochistically satisfying - but right now my body needs gentleness, not tearing apart. But my body also needs deep work, which is what Joanna was able to provide, in the tenderest way. Her skill at listening to me as well as my body was excellent, and by the time we were done it felt like my nervous system had completely calmed down, and my muscles were nice and melty and relaxed too. Felt like a combo of myofascial release and cranio sacral and whatever other goodness she folded into the mix! I'll echo other testimonials here with the words to describe my session with Joanna: nourishing, deeply effective, therapeutic and wonderful. 10/10.

I've been treated by many alternative medical people over the last 25 years or so. My problem with…read moremost is that they lack a serious scholarly familiarity with their own discipline. For example people who practice yoga but have only read a few pop books and taken a brief certification class. This has turned me into a skeptic. Dr. Kreuzer is clearly a devoted scholar and knows more about ayurveda than almost any other practitioner I have seen or investigated. Look at his credentials. Because of the rare experience I had with Dr. Kreuzer I felt compelled to share my experience after reading the hatchet-job review below, because doctors who care as much as Dr. Kreuzer should be supported not attacked. I myself have studied ayurveda casually over the last 10 years or so and eventually did panchakarma with Dr. Lad who is one of Dr. Kreuzer's teachers. I loved Dr. Lad and when I saw Dr. Kreuzer I could tell he had the same deep love of scholarship and service. Michael charged me a very small amount, around $200.00 I believe, and gave me over two hours of very concentrated attention. Then a few weeks later I called him for another appointment and he told me that a highly esteemed Indian doctor would be visiting soon and that I should come and meet him, which I did. That meeting turned out to be a entire room full of medical people who gave me an amazing amount of care and advice. The doctor from India gave me a book he had written which I still consult from time to time. My experience with Dr. Kreuzer is that he is devoted to his healing practice and does it not for money but for love (as corny as that may sound), and because of that its hard to understand the hostile review below. I know that if I am having a health crisis and I see a doctor and he is not 100% perfect I can be very very hard on that doctor! Because I am so desperate and have such high hopes and deep needs. I can exaggerate even the slightest slight into a full blown denunciation in my mind, but I would never then put it out there into a public condemnation! I just looked at his reviews of other establishments, almost all are one star!
