Unfortunately during the first treatment my face was burned and I ended up with deep purple bruises and blisters. I had to stay home for a week until the blisters subsided. My face became more red than before the treatment. I was told that the next two sessions would give me the expected results, but they did not. My face became very sensitive and the redness didn't go away. I noticed deeper broken capillaries in the areas where I was burned. When I expressed my concerns Sydney simply shook her head and said: "there is always a risk". My risk was in her hands. Her job was to assess my skin type, select the appropriate filters and correctly adjust the laser's energy setting, but she is either inexperienced or incapable. After contacting Sydney again I got a call from the owner, Stacy Grissen and she set up an appointment for me to come to see her the fallowing week.The day of the appointment Stacy called me and with an aggressive tone of voice informed me that she was cancelling our meeting, (BTW if I cancelled an appointment the same day they would charge a fee). She said that I snapped my fingers in front of Sydney's face, which is a complete lie... and btw why wait a week to cancel an appointment? I guess she decided to be offensive rather than being concerned that her employee did damage to my face.The way she treated me is inappropriate and dishonest. I am writing this to warn anyone who is thinking of using this business : go there at your own peril. There is no place for a business like this in our beautiful community of Encinitas.

I was able to use one of them today. This was my 2nd time in going to her and it's been 3 years since the last time I had her service. Let's just say, first impression lasts! If you've never been to her services, she is located inside a dental office. Her directions how to get there is precise since it's a little confusing with the navigation map. Once you find the dental office, you come in and with the new guidelines, you need to wear a mask and put some hand sanitizer. The dental office ladies are very welcoming as they let Irina know you're there. Since it's been awhile when I had my facial with her, I had to fill out a client form plus some forms about COVID. Then, it was time for the facial which Ali was allowed to have my mask off. The pictures here in Yelp is still exactly the same (her purple room). She even showed me today what wipes she used to sanitize in between the appointments today. Irina was wearing a mask, face shield and gloves. My appt was at 12:30pm and we got started at 12:40pm. As seen on her website, "Fabulously customized to suit your special needs, perfect for first time spa user . This complete facial includes a deep cleansing, gentle exfoliation, light extractions and ultrasonic skin spatula , high frequency. Followed by a custom masque and face, neck and shoulder massage. This is an enjoyble and relaxing facial with skin care benefits.", Irina followed exactly what she stated. I've been discouraged with my last facials as they were afraid of doing extractions on my face. Irina is the only one that does something after face extractions so your open pores won't get infected. We finished to the hour at 1:40pm. I can't wait to go back on my next appointment in August and hopefully I can pay the extra money so I could experience her back facial services.

At one point, I was told refunds typically take 7-10 days, which has clearly not been honored. What's most concerning is that they acknowledged I did not receive any product, yet continue to hold the funds. This has forced me to move forward with disputing the charge through my bank. I strongly encourage anyone considering this service to proceed with caution, especially when it comes to billing and cancellations.

Had an initial consultation only. Dr. Saami was notably real, very knowledgeable, and easy to communicate with. I've had plenty experiences with aesthetic providers and I got a very good feeling about Dr. Saami - felt that he is trustworthy, sincere, and expert.
