Irina is an amazing esthetician! I usually don't pamper myself much with facials or massages, let alone waxing my eye brows, but I have to say after seeing Irina I'm hooked! I've been coming here once a month for a year now. Normally when I walk into a spa or salon, I feel like the environment is kinda fake and judgmental - people telling you what you should look like instead of listening to what you want. I didn't feel that at all at iAstatics - I felt like I was at home.I had a pretty fantastic facial here. I think it was 90 minutes long. If that sounds long, that's because it is. It was so relaxing! I would never have expected a facial to include an arms and neck massage, but what a nice bonus! I feel like she listened to my concerns about my skin, but didn't go overboard trying to sell me on new products. I love her facials and products that she uses. I always feel super relaxed, refreshed and vibrant when I leave. I've never had anyone do my eyebrows before and was afraid I'd end up with pencil thin eye brows with an "evil" looking arch. Irina was very attentive and understood my concerns, she did a stellar job waxing and shaping my eye brows. Irina is one of the most present estheticians I've been to and really cares about her clients.She is very knowledgeable and an amazing person to converse with. The second one she didn't honor, saying that groupon had sold her a bad package, that she interpreted the expiration dates differently than groupon, that groupon clients had messed up her business and been problematic. I left without the second service. If she had told me when I booked the second appointment (we had several texts where I reminder of her the groupon) that she wasn't going to honor the groupon, I might have paid the difference, but at least I would have had the choice first. Her facials were worth about the groupon price, but in my opinion, not worth more.(For that price I could go to a nice salon instead of little cubicle "suite" rooms in a rather strange salon suites strip mall location. I had cleared my schedule and driven across town to my appointment before she brought up that she was not honoring the second service on the groupon. After my conversation with her, I would be uncomfortable trusting her with my skin in the future and wouldn't be able to recommend her, especially not to people thinking of purchasing a groupon or other promotion package.

She sprays some lightweight serum on your face and then moves it into your skin with an oxygen application. It feels cool and relaxing. Your face is visibly more smooth and hydrated. Then the next time she offered a very mild form of dermabrasion. I have always shied away from what sounds like a "medical" treatment. But this turned out to be fabulous. It doesn't hurt, it's a very light treatment, it just takes away the dead layer of skin on your face, and there is no reddening afterwards. So now my regular monthly treatment is an oxygen dermabrasion facial. She also offers 6 oxygen treatments at a discount, and it only takes around 15 minutes to have that done, so include that also once a week! Give me the works, Cyn! Cynthia is such a sweet, easy to be with person, it is pleasure to go there. She'll chat with you if you feel like it, or just concentrate on the treatment and you can just lay there and vege out.
