Shane always made himself available to tour houses when they were being listed. This gave us a chance to tour houses early giving us time to think and decide on next steps. Shane provided comprehensive review during the tours, covering quality, builder, materials used, appliances, potential upgrades/fixes, etc. that was very helpful while comparing different houses. The research team did a good job compiling the background details of the house and comp analysis. During the offer stage, Shane helped coming up with a strategy, but never put a lot of pressure, if we were not comfortable. He was patient during the entire process and always answered questions as soon as possible. He was always on top during the negotiations in terms of getting updates from listing agents which helped fine tune our offers. Even though it took a few attempts, Shane was always supportive and was open to discussing what could we do better next time. I learnt a lot during this process. Our winning offer was a Flyhomes cash offer, which was not the highest offer but the fast and smooth closing offered by the Flyhomes team secured the win for us. It's definitely worth a shot in this market. I would also like to thank Nicholas Anderson from Flyhomes Mortgage, who was very patient in running calculations multiple times before we made offers and helping with hypothetical scenarios. Having all the data before making offers helped us make informed decisions. That being said, there is always room for improvement. The app UI can improve a bit (in terms of how quickly new house listings notifications are sent out) and sync between multiple teams within Flyhomes can improve further. To conclude, I would highly recommend Flyhomes to 1st time home buyers in competitive real estate markets for a one stop shop solution.

Update base on the business reply : As their customer since…read moreFebruary, I can say their listing agent, selling agent , lender who got in contact with us are all very not helpful at all, not only they are blur on delivering messages and information, but also are just has no idea what they are doing at all, answering the wrong questions, not clear on the contract, trying to get away with problems- as they take your complains for nothings and all they can do to put this poor guy Jared out to say" oh sorry we can't really do anything " and that's all, sorry we take your money but can't do anything! Figure something out ! Their California agent Christina Felix is very unprofessional and only thing she did was stressing out the costumer , when we sign the contract she was very pushy and didn't explain clear enough. We agreed the seller stay in the property with 3 week rent back, but agent told them it's free without being clear to us , which on the contract shows as blank , which does not mean $0- and she later claims something on the contract says " licensed fee $0" means rent back free. They are using undirected term to trick people who doesn't understand the actual meanings. After we complain to the Flyhomes , they said they can't cover our loss, and not responsible for the mistake, and they start asking us if we want to back out the offer ( that way they can take our earnest money and buy the house , resale it, then make profit out of it ) we are beyond annoyed and very frustrated because we are in the middle of buying this house , we love the property, but Flyhome is just very unprofessional, and has no idea what they are doing, miscommunication with lender ,buyer , seller , ..etc . I highly suggest people who is thinking use them, think twice ! By the way , their mortgage interest rate is completely rip off, DO NOT Use them

After the initial purchase of our house 8 years ago, there was no question as to who we would turn to to manage the sale of the property. Eight years ago, the market was CRAZY with houses lasting only hours and going for outrageous amounts over asking. My husband and I came from So California (thus understanding the market) with the goal of finding a house that weekend. We actually DID find a house that checked all of the boxes. I said- Trish, make this happen. With a carefully crafted offer (not outrageous over asking) she landed the deal. Trish remained in contact over the 8 years with referrals for painters, flooring, and contractors. Now selling in a flat market, again, Trish to the rescue with strategies that landed us EIGHT offers within the first few days. She prepared spreadsheets and walked us through everything. I will not only miss Trish as an agent but feel I moved out of state from a friend. She is attentive, responsive and most importantly very transparent with all aspects of the options with the purchasing as well as sale of a property. We felt supported at all times. I cannot recommend Trish and her dedicated team enough.

We started looking in November 2006 and on 21st December we moved in. First time buying ANYWHERE is a scary thing, since it involves such a large amount of money. Coldwell managed to put us at ease and explained everything to us clearly. They explained terms which were totally unfamiliar to us, such as "earnest money", they also gave us their experience of how long wiring money internationally takes etc. Our agent was Jenny Hill, she was recommended by a colleague. On meeting her for the first time, she had got together a nice folder with all areas that were of interest to us - it was very well organized! She was quite informative, but I have no idea how these agents should be like. I managed to see about 30 houses in total and narrowed it down to one. Jenny was always available to us and took our calls even at 21:00 (09:00pm) on Friday/Saturday night, when negotiations were in place. The negotiations went smoothly and we delayed moving in because we had none of our furniture - all of it was currently in a sea container somewhere. It arrived on the 22nd December, so for the first night we had JUST a bean bag, duvets, pillows, bed linen and towels!

As part of a…read morezippy-quick career relocation to San Francisco, we'd already selected the agent we wanted, an expert on our Bellevue neighborhood, but had to fulfill the relo company's requirements and get a comparison sale quote from their preferred agent. After both their agent and ours quoted markedly different figures, we needed a third with which to compare--enter Allison and Mitch Lomax. Like other agents we interviewed, they had an impressive presentation of their services (uber fabulous--personalized chocolate bars during Open House anyone?), and they really heard what we wanted from the sale, however, it was their genuine enthusiasm for our particular house and assisting with our specific circumstances that made me and my husband double-take and go with our instincts to hire the Lomaxes instead of our original choice. In the recent West Bellevue market, houses were practically selling themselves, if they even reached MLS and this was a relo so we already knew agents received a lower percentage of the home sale profit. It was beyond impressive that Allison and Mitch gave our home sale beyond the attention and shepherding we expected, responding very quickly to current market realities in our neighborhood and balancing a host of complexities to get the job done. They worked very effectively with our relocation company (many rules and requirements) and communicated with us during all points of the transaction. Bonus: There's two of them so you can always reach one or the other with questions or requests and they have an amazing office assistant Kathy, who is on top of all the paperwork and details. Both Mitch and Allison went the extra mile and we were able to rely on them in full confidence to coach us through what had the potential to be a very stressful process. Mitch is an effective negotiator, helping all involved be clear about their needs and expectations and facilitating a virtually seamless transaction with our buyer. Working with Tim and Leanne of Top to Bottom, Allison helped make sure all of our market prep happened as fast as possible, providing full advantage to us in a unique market opportunity. She also supervised the movers for our family until we could return from vacation--that is commitment. Finally, she coordinated the final walk-through and clean up of our home so we could leave to catch the flight to our new home. My family feels blessed to work with two such genuine, solutions-oriented, integrity-filled people who know their market, enroll other wonderful people in the process, communicate effectively, and go far beyond expectations. We wholeheartedly recommend Mitch & Allison Lomax to help sell or buy your home.
