My masseuse as Marlene and she was very professional and made me feel comfortable. After checking in for my appointment I was taken to a nice "locker room" type situation for lack of better words. You can claim a locker to place your belongings and then change into a robe and sandals provided for you. The room was dim and warm with a changing room, bathroom, and shower. Then you go to a waiting area with heated neck pillows where you wait to be called back. Marlene did an excellent job with my massage and I felt very relaxed. The tension is greatly relieved in my back. I will definitely be back!

I had a face & neck massage from Rose this week & she's literally better than anyone I've ever had. She is highly skilled, and really found all the knots and removed them much more effectively than I could even imagine. I usually only let one masseuse do neck-work because it's so delicate, but I trust Dr Perry's judgement so I decided to give Rose a try... absolute perfection!! Usually after a deep-pressure massage, I'm a bit sore, but not this time. It was an odd sensation to not have pain/tension and I kept moving my head around for days just enjoying it. I've already booked another appointment for myself, my husband, and mother. They book morning appointments out a few days, and late afternoon appointments book out at least a week. It's also a fantastic value, as we've been paying twice the cost for our prior masseuse (and had to drive downtown).

I have been a Woodhouse customer, but after my recent experience trying to book services, I…read moreultimately gave up and went elsewhere. I called the Rim location to book the Head-to-Toe Relaxation with Nails package for two people--$345 per person, or nearly $700 in services. After I explained what I wanted to book, the person answering the phone told me she needed to put me on hold to "help a customer." I waited for some time and eventually hung up. I understand needing to assist someone at the front desk, but I was also a customer. She could have simply taken my name and number and offered to call me back once she had time to coordinate the appointments. I then called the Basse location. The gentleman who answered spoke so quietly and mumbled so much that I couldn't understand him. I told him I couldn't hear him, and he switched phones, but it was no better. When I told him again that I was having difficulty hearing him, his response was essentially that it was just the phone. I finally gave up and hung up. What surprised me even more was that neither location attempted to call me back. Most businesses have some form of caller ID, and if a prospective customer disconnected while trying to book nearly $700 in services, I would expect someone to at least make an effort to return the call. I subsequently sent a detailed email about my experience to Woodhouse and also contacted its corporate parent. I never received a response from either one. One poor interaction can happen anywhere. But two locations, no follow-up from either location, and then no response to a written complaint suggests a broader customer-service problem. Woodhouse offers a luxury spa experience at luxury prices. The customer service should reflect that from the first phone call. Unfortunately, in this case it did not.

However, the massage itself felt very standard and followed a typical routine rather than feeling personalized to what my body actually needed. Unfortunately, I didn't feel like my specific needs were fully addressed, which left me feeling disappointed given the cost

Lulu gave my friend an amazing massage, customizing the pressure level for each area. She even massaged her back using pregnancy massage techniques, because my friend could not lay down on her abdomen. Winnie gave me my massage, and boy, did I need it. I asked for focus on my tight shoulder and back muscles, and Winnie delivered! But when it came to the facials...oh my! We each had the crystal-free microderm facial, with extractions, then a mixture of serums sprayed afterward, topped off with a thick hydrating jelly mask. Suli did mine, and Lulu did my friend's facial. Our faces were reborn that day at Bali Ayu! At checkout, we were astounded by how tight, plump, and bright our faces felt and looked afterward. I'm writing this a couple days after our treatments and my face is still so soft. Mind you, we are self-care gals, so we get facials pretty regularly. We were super impressed by the facials here.
