Our room had a water view and we slept with the windows open each night to bask in the ocean smells and the nighttime ambience. The room itself was gigantic and the automated buttons around the room were super convenient so we could get into bed and turn off the lights, or open the blackout curtains, etc. The staff was lovely, attentive and so accommodating. We had breakfast, lunch and drinks there and each time the service was top notch. European style but more engaged than the servers in other European countries - they even smiled! Now let's talk about the building. It is super modern and cleverly designed so each part of the hotel has a view of the water. It sounds like each room has an individual feel and layout so that is also intriguing. Not a cookie cutter hotel by any stretch of the imagination. We have never been blown away by this level of design, location and service with such affordable prices. We have stayed in hotels twice the cost in the states and were treated like dirt (nyc, San Fran, California). We will definitely be coming back to Lisbon and when we do, we will book here immediately. Don't hesitate, it is the best hotel we have experienced in all of Europe.

The parking is free, which was great because we had a rental car. Our room was facing the marina and was amazing. There was a large shower and separate soaking tub. Each night, they placed cookies on the bed. Free breakfast was included and had an assortment of fresh fruits, juices, cheeses, smoked fish and meats. They will also cook eggs a different style upon request. We also visited the spa, which had an indoor pool, steam room and sauna. There was also a rooftop pool which was gorgeous as well and overlooked the marina and had views of the river and bridge. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Lisbon!

Some parts of the edifice have bricked arch ways that simply enhance the whole ambiance. The service was superb! From the front desk agent to the bell man who gave us a guided quick tour of our room and personally explained the property, food & beverage venues, room amenities and spa to the restaurant staff. With an outdoor and indoor (inside the spa) pool at your disposal, they make relaxation easy. I also loved that the atmosphere was elegant without feeling stuffy or pretentious. Great location, right near the Historic Belem Tower and with tram and bus lines to anywhere in Lisbon. Another great thing that is rare in the city, this property has it's own underground parking garage and it's included with the nightly rate! Breakfast was also complimentary and had both hot and cold items, espresso coffee and mimosas. It was wonderful and I will definitely stay here whenever in Lisbon!

The view is absolutely breathtaking, and every staff member I interacted with was incredibly kind and accommodating. I highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Caparica. It's a beautiful place and perfectly located. Craving dessert? It's a 3-minute walk. Need new shoes? 2 minutes. Want to grab snacks from a grocery store? Just 1 minute away. The pool area was not very clean and the pool itself was in need of repair. Black mold was disgusting. You can tell the hotel gets a lot of tour traffic as there are signs of wear everywhere. For me one of the big issues was the fact that the most expensive rooms in the hotel, the suite, are directly across from the elevators so you get all of the noise of people and elevator chimes at all hours of the day and night. Not sure if there are other locations for bigger rooms? Definitely something to investigate. We purchased with breakfast included. It was a buffet, pretty standard, nothing remarkable, just average. Location is great. Just across from the beach and many other restaurants in the area to check out. The staff was friendly and helpful, but not necessarily well informed about hotel policies and protocols.

The room is classic design to renaissance look. I like the breakfast included in the hotel. Parking is free at outside. The palace hotel just across Queluz National Palace. This is their extension side of the palace. If you stay there, please be sure eat at their king kitchen. The meal selection can add entree with all you can eat dessert on King table. We love this deal. The table is set around the chimney of the kitchen. You can walk below chimney and look up the chimney. I would recommend the duck if you come to the king kitchen for dinner. The hotel breakfast is great. It has a lot of choices. You can look out your window to check if the palace already open to guess in the morning. So you will be the few first entry to the palace. I think this is ideal location to stay a night and visit the palace next morning.
