I've been eating pizza here forever when we vacation on the island. It's the best on the island. Thin crust, great sauce, and just the right amount of grease on the pie. read more

Solo's Pizza - a cheese pizza in a box - Pizza Near Me - Holmes Beach, Florida

We were craving pizza, and the pizza buffet bar we wanted to go to closed ridiculously early. My sister found this place that was opened until 11:30 p.m. We arrived, and the bartender, who I think was the owner, sat us down. He got our drink order right away. He also came back to take our order. I was impressed because it was only him, and he was super fast. We got our four pizzas, and they were amazing. I had to tell myself to stop eating it because I just wanted more and more. We had some leftovers and it was just as good as the first day. Super happy! read more

Not fancy, but good workmanlike pizza. Sports bar feel with a pool table and lots of TVs. Nice generous wine pour. FYI beer and wine only. Almost did not go as the google reviews were really bad, I trusted the Yelp reviews and glad we did. read more

This is the best pizza I've had in awhile. If you like hand tossed pizza this is a must try for you. We had the cajun crust, half plain, half pepperoni and it was so delicious. Everything from the actual pizza dough, crust, cheese, sauce and pepperoni was so fresh. The crust was a little crispy but soft when you bite in. No premade dough there. Made fresh daily the owner said. Definitely want to go back again for a pepperoni, pineapple cajun crust pizza. I'm salivating already. read more

Solo's Pizza - The pizza I wrote about in my review. Cajun crust, half plain, half pepperoni. Mmmmhmmmm!! - Pizza Near Me - Holmes Beach, Florida

I have been here numerous times and supported the local pizzeria as a local. The owner is extremely rude, offensive, and shouldn't be in the food industry because he doesn't give an F about the customers. Food is mediocre and customer service sucks. For good pizza on the island, go to Oma's read more

Am I missing something? This pizza was fair. The crust is pre-made (those little crisp wafer thin edges are where a machine stamped out the dough. Salad was kinda crappy. I guess the wings were pretty good from what I heard. Can't attest to that. Give it a big 'meh' read more

This place is AMAZING. We came here from Denver for a little weekend trip. We asked to sit outside, and the bartender said, sure, but he doesn't serve outside. But he made an exception for us. The beer was nice and cold, the food was delicious and served in a timely manner, and he was super friendly. He checked in on us every now and then, and was very accommodating. Love this place!! read more

Excellent Pizza! Great sauce and crust. Nice service and atmosphere. And we eat alot of pizza. I liked this place !

What happened? We've been going for years for the great for Solo's great, loaded pizza's. This time it was paper thin and we had to search for the sparse scattering of ingredients. I thought it was just a mistake so we ordered again the next week, and it was worse! Bye the way, both times I was told 20 minutes and both times it was late. I had to wait 10 minutes. read more

The supreme pizza was awesome. That's all meat and all veggies combo pizza. Tap beer cold and good. Bartender doubling as a waiter too. Decent service. Loud crowd of drunk people were shooting pool. No worries. It was Friday night at 915. In Holmes beach and everyone else was asleep. I get it. We were gonna go to old Hamburg but decided on this pizza place next door. Highly recommend this exact pizza. read more

I Read the reviews and was very excited to try...We placed a to-go order and picked up. I didn't realize the crust was going to be thin..I like a thicker crust. Pizza wasn't bad but the crust really ruined it for me. The pictures I had seen online looked like the slices were a little thicker.. The bottom line is if you like your crust really thin and crispy, this is the pizza place for you. ;-) read more

Solo's Pizza - a slice of cheese pizza - Pizza Near Me - Holmes Beach, Florida

One of the best thin crust pizzas I've had in a long time! Crispy for the whole drive home!

We eat here every Friday night! Fresh pizza , made to order and awesome thin crust. Owners are friendly and hard workers. Very cold beer too. Veggie toppings are fresh and the salads rock. See y'all soon! read more

This was an alright pizza place. There wasn't too much on the menu aside from pizza and hot grinders. There was a decent pool table that we were able to use while eating. Wanted to order nachos but they had to sour cream so we got the queso, which seemed to just be some velveeta heated up and some crispy round tortillas. The pizza was decent, but we just ordered a plain cheese pizza so keep that in mind. Thin crust, slightly seasoned. read more

We had a meat lovers pizza and beer. The pizza was fantastic and the service was great. Our server, Stacey gave us lots of tips on what to do and where to go locally. Would definitely go back. read more

If you like Saltine crackers, then you will like this pizza. The crust is like one giant soft Saltine--I didn't care for it at all. They skimped on the sauce and I am a huge fan of lots of sauce, so strike two. The pepperoni was spicy but I wouldn't order this pizza again. read more

Got nervous after reading the only other review on Yelp (we had already sat down and ordered) but this place is quite good! The pizza here is thin-crust and crispy - and they had a very nice IPA on draft. The service was great - the owner was super-friendly and had a good time with our kids. One warning - if you order the house salad, be prepared for loads of hot peppers and olives - not what you'd usually expect from a house. read more

Great pizza my Fav !!! U can have a personal size & owner Shawn will load it up any way u want it ... Great with a Sierra Nevada try this place it won't disappoint.. read more

Looking on Trip Advisor, I had to check photos to make sure I was reviewing the right business. People were raving about the pizza but I did not care for it at all. I should have gotten some frozen pizzas from Publix instead. The crust was VERY tough and the toppings were sparse. Nothing seemed fresh about this pizza. I also gave $40 for 2 pizzas and a salad- steep for what I got. Seriously, don't get the pizza. As for the place itself- very clean and the bartender was very attentive. It had a nice, relaxed atomosphere. The pizza just sucked. read more

Great place to just hang out and meet new friends...cold ones and pretty decent pizza!!

Ordered a pizza our first night here after a long ride. pizza was very good not your usual crust (from NY and have spent 25 years in a family Italian restaurant) the sauce was good had enough cheese and crispy crust which stayed crisp in the box. I was a little surprised (I had phone ordered) and was expecting a pizza place but it is more bar rest. Very clean and neat run by a very personable young woman. I would seek this place out. Job well done! read more

Ordered takeout pizza while in the area on vacation with family. Restaurant is very dark. Pizza was average.

Ate there on our vacation on Anna Marie Isle. Food was good for thin crust pizza. A little under cooked for my taste, but still had good sauce and fresh toppings. Kids had burgers, nice size for kids. Only other issue was one of the waitresses was rude when we asked her a question. She ended up not serving us but I thought it uncalled for. read more

Terrific place. Friendly and you can't beat the pizza!!!!! A must when staying here. Two thumbs up....,. Way up

Went here with my family on 10/4/2020 at 5:15pm and unfortunately couldn't make it past the drink order. We witnessed the man working the bar and taking our drink order grab the empty beer bottles from another table BY THE MOUTH, trash them, then without washing his hands grab our cups by the rim, dip the entire cup along with his hand into the ice and fill our cups with coke, then grab our unwrapped straws by the part that touches our mouth and put them in our cups. He basically transferred the saliva of strangers onto our straws!!!! When I told him why we couldn't drink those. His response was "yeah if you're that sensitive this isn't the place for you." It's not that I'm sensitive. I'm a nurse and I'm cautious about this virus. We are in the middle of a pandemic! With that amount of blatant cross-contamination this restaurant is a health hazard! And the fact that he was not only un-shamed by it but made us feel like we were wrong for being concerned is shocking. Did I mention he wasn't wearing a mask?! He was rude, uneducated, and wreckless. read more

Went the other night. Good pizza, and Teresa the waitress is a hoot! Great for lunch or dinner. read more

The pizza crust tastes like it is frozen, not freshly made. The toppings are good but again it is put on a machine made frozen crust. The beer was good and cold. read more

Solo's is a fantastic little "dive" on Anna Maria. Everyone that I've taken there has agreed that the pizza, service and atmosphere are all excellent. Jen's review should be discarded as her taste buds are obviously malfunctioning! Some of the best pizza I have ever had and I've heard the Philly Cheese Steak is fabulous, as well. Visit Solo's with confidence and Shawn (the owner) will take great care of you! read more

The pizza was fabulous!! Definitely tasted home made! And they use green and black olives. Wish I could get green olives on my pizza everywhere. Service was great to. And the waitress was prompt at keeping our water full without us asking. Only thing I thought was weird was they serve the pizza with those cheap foam plates. Made it feel like I was at a neighborhood BBQ. And they could've spread the toppings more evenly to the very edge of the crust. But it was super delicious, great service, fun atmosphere... I'd definitely come here again!! read more

Seriously a really good pizza! Very small bar/restaurant... Pizza ingredients are better quality than the 'domino's pizza' type. Crust is thin, (not too thin). I am a bit picky about food so if I like this, chances are you will too! read more

Very nice pizza; the best mushroom I have ever had. The Cabernet was too fruity and I would not get again. Service was average plus. Only a few rational, non-bar places to sit. Prices are motivating, so yes, a good place to go. read more

Best pizza on AMI. We loved it. I have some serious pizza critics in my family and they all gave it thumbs up. Loved the thin crust. Well worth picking up and bringing it back to our rental as opposed to chain delivery places. read more

It was ok. It was definitely pre-made crusts that were a little hard. Wings were ok but soggy. Tasted good. Great bar food but probably won't go back. read more

Pizza was just ok. Was a little surprised when they charged 75 cents for the to go pizza box. I would probably build that into the price of the pizza! Lol! read more

Slowest service ever. Went in to pick up pizza around 7pm not very busy, lady working totally ignorant of us. We were told with an attitude that we had to wait. Waited 10 minutes and still never got help, while watching her continue to serve others, ring up orders, and come back to desk and continue to ignorant. Finally another lady helped us. Pizza was not hot and not much flavor. Not going back anytime soon. read more

Best pizza around. Relaxing atmosphere and good service. Fix the A/C please! Little warm last time.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. We had a waitress who was very rude and inconsiderate towards my party. I have never been spoken to this way by a waitress in a restaurant. She refused to separate out checks and stated with attitude that we would would have to figure it out on how to pay each other back. She also stated that she's too busy to split our checks and we would have to wait. She was very rude and completely ruined this dining experience for me. read more
