All of it was just uncomfortable for me. The room for me is too small. I'm 5 feet 11 and some of the workouts I cannot even do because no matter what angle I turned, I would be hitting somebody else. I did not feel that the instructor was beginner, friendly or engaging enough at all. I also had a hard time hearing the instructor on top of her telling us to do moves but not showing all of them..There's a lot of beginners in this class and majority of the room looked absolutely lost and confused and I just don't feel like she was interacting with people well enough or showing the workouts to where we can clearly understand and see. Half of the time I was really lost. Overall disappointed. When I left my first Pilates class I felt so comfortable, I felt seen and I absolutely enjoyed my experience. Everyone has different preferences, but this was just not it. I also felt like staff wasn't engaging enough for me either. Low energy. Overall not a good experience.

Instructors are very young and not accommodating towards the average age demographic of the members. Not enough modifications for repetitive intense exercises that cause pain. 2) Not enough reformer exercises. Most of the class is spent doing calisthenics. We're spending $189 a month to take Pilates classes, but the class format is more like an intense fitness class than an actual Pilates class. 3) Students are not allowed to adjust the Pilates reformer according to our body height, strength, etc. which is very strange. At other Club Pilates locations, it is encouraged to adjust the reformer machine as needed for each individual.

The most impactful practices are when the instructors are positive and sharing affirmations and uplifting mantras to the class. It is truly a gift. I had a friend who drove 1 hour to visit the studio and the front desk was not entirely kind or understanding. It wasn't on brand or in line with the culture of corepower, how I see it. Rules are rules but I wonder if it would be possible to scatter coverage even by 10 minutes to allow a few stragglers in. Absolutely recommend corepower yoga! Just show up early :)

Dallas has no shortage of gyms, but when you're choosing the one -- the one you'll see more than…read moreyour own reflection -- it has to feel right. I'd been hearing whispers (the good kind) about working out in infrared light, so naturally I had to investigate. This studio offers a free first class, which is honestly the chicest way to commit-curious a new gym. Low risk, high glow potential. Here's what you should know: the concept is interesting -- but not super clear online. They have around eight private infrared rooms, and classes rotate every 15-30 minutes depending on the format (most run about 30-45 minutes). On weekends especially, sessions are consistently cycling through. You can book a specific class, but there's also flexibility built in. If you're there and space allows, you can jump into a different session or pivot your workout. It's structured... but with options. Very choose-your-own-fitness-adventure. Confession: I arrived early (as one does for a first class), and the doors weren't open yet because we were technically late for that session. Slightly confusing at first -- but once inside, it made more sense how the rotations work. A clearer explanation online would've saved a little guesswork. The workout itself? A solid, full-body intensity without being punishing. I hadn't worked out consistently in a while, so I wanted something effective but not soul-crushing. This delivered. You definitely feel it, but in a "see you again tomorrow" way. What I loved: * 24-hour access (major bonus for unpredictable schedules) * Super clean, modern space * Easy parking (underrated luxury in Dallas) * Friendly, welcoming staff * Great value for the price They also offer branded workout apparel (think training capris, etc.), which is cute but not required. My only hesitation? Motivation and in-person energy. Because of the semi-private infrared room setup, it's less of that high-five-the-room group vibe and more self-directed. If you thrive on heavy social interaction, that's something to consider. If you like autonomy with structure, you'll love it. Overall, it's a really strong option -- especially if infrared training has been on your radar. Clean, flexible, effective, and open 24/7? That's a compelling Dallas fitness situation. Would I go back? Very possibly. My muscles are still deciding.

I would leave this hotworx 0 stars if I could. It is not necessarily the facility or workouts that…read moredeserve the review but the manager. Her name is Chelsea Conkel. I signed up for the 6 month membership 3/3/2026. I was told the contract was for 6 months and after that I could cancel with no fees or penalties. On 9/3/2026 I called and texted the facility asking to cancel my membership since i had now made 7 payments to the facility and 6 full payments not including the first prorated draft in march. I paid the full amount of around $65 for april, may, june, july, august, and september with the last payment being 9/3/2026. I also paid a prorated payment in march. They kept telling me they would call me back everyday until I finally recieved a charge from them on my card 9/8/2026. I called up to the facility immediately when I saw the charge. The manager gave me a very hard time and extremely rude attitude about cancelling my membership. She charged me a fee to cancel my membership and told me I should be thankful she didn't charge me the full $99 to cancel and that she was doing me a favor? I asked her how in the world she was doing me a favor and how I could be charged a fee when I have made a total of 7 payment to them and a total of SIX full non prorated payments. She continued arguing with me calling me sweetie and honey and talking down to me also laughing at me with other employees and members in the facility putting me on speaker phone. I finally asked her if she was an idiot after explaining several times I had 100% fulfilled my membership and contract and when I did this she got really upset and hung up on me. 5 minutes after she hung up I got a call from the addison police. They were laughing. Telling me the manager at hotworx had called and said I was up at the facility threatening her. I NEVER once threatened her, I never once told her I would come up to the studio. She actually asked me to come up to the studio to sign my membership cancellation and I said no I was not and she needed to cancel it over the phone. I never even once cursed at this lady. All I did was ask if she was an idiot after going back and forth and being talked down to for a very long time. The police laughed about this with me and apologized several times for even calling me and wasting my time. After this phone call I went ahead and pulled up my initial contract in the first email I got from them to send to my bank to dispute the cancellation charge and provide them with proof I had fulfilled my 6 month contract, and I noticed this girl signed the contract for me!!!!! It was not even my signature. My name was not even spelled correctly in the signature! I wish I had noticed this much much earlier in my contract, but regardless I have provided it to my bank with several examples of my real signature and correct spelling of my name. I would seriously consider joining a different location for your home location to avoid ever dealing with this psychopath.

When I arrived, I was greeted by the owner and staff at the front desk by name. The owner then told me she knew I was a Longhorn! I remembered my MINDBODY profile photo has me in a Texas shirt, but I was still impressed because there was a high volume of people coming in and out. I signed up for the second class ever offered here at 10 AM because I did not think I could make it at 9 (and I was right)! The studio is very spacious and has a cool blue light vibe. The reformers look quite different from what I am used to, and I know they are custom for this studio. The class was pretty intense as it started and ended with planks plus there were side planks in the middle. The class included core work, legs, arms, and glutes, a full body experience in 50 minutes. The instructor Isabel offered several modifications for exercises, was encouraging, and walked around to help people off the mic when needed. She complimented my form which I will not let get to my head! Give this place a try and be prepared to sweat!
