We needed to replace both toilets in our house due to severe leaking that caused our water bill to skyrocket. Solid Plumbing & Drains provided us a fair price for labor, toilet replacement AND unforeseen flange replacement. The assigned technician (Angel) did a great job! He was very diligent and respectful. The owner, Mario, was always willing to talk about the job and pricing, etc. Great customer service. I highly recommend Solid Plumbing & Drains!! read more

Amazing job. We were getting new vinyl flooring installed and Mario came to swap out our toilets for new ones. He noted our substandard construction (we bought the house new 20 years ago) and quickly replaced the flange where the toilet connects to the floor. I would highly recommend him. read more

I had just purchased my home and my sink was leaking from below. The two workers ,Mario and Martin, responded to my request within five minutes on yelp and were at my home within ten minutes soon after in Otay Ranch. They showed up with extra masks and boots to protect my family from Co-vid19 and the floor from becoming dirty. Quickly assessed the issue and trouble shot where the leak was coming from. Explained to me the process and pricing before anything started. It was a great price, and they quickly got to work once I agreed. Both very professional and neat. Work was done fast so that way it didn't take anytime out of my day. I strongly recommend this company and their plumbers to any requesting great service and assistance with any issues. Best service recieved thus far from any plumbers. 10/10 read more

Hot water tank started leaking overnight. Called Mario and he picked up the phone immediately. He and Frank were able to come check out the problem the same day and replaced the water tank so that the kids can have a hot shower that night. Extremely responsive and kept me informed of the progress. After the work was done, they left the area clean. Mario and Frank were extremely friendly and answered all the questions that I had. They also diagnosed an excessive water pressure problem and was able to return the next morning to take care of that also. Reliable and great service, would definitely recommend them to anyone. read more

My almost deaf elderly in-laws needed a plumber do to a blocked toilet, and of course this happened on a Saturday. I jumped on Yelp and started calling around and discovered that most companies were not available until later that evening, it was around 12:30 pm when I started. I finally called Solid Plumbing & Drains and Mario answered his phone right away and was sure he could have someone out there in 2 hours. He stated that if they could make it sooner they would let us know, and sure enough they called and were able to arrive within an hour. Mario and his crew were unable to reach the obstruction with a snake and determined it was further down the line. Since there was not an exterior clean-out Mario had to remove the toilet and to clear the blockage. Solid Plumbing did a great job of clearing out the blockage, and replacing the toilet and cleaned up in a manner that left the bathroom cleaner than when they arrived. My Mother in-law who was working with Mario said that he was very kind and helpful, explained everything to her prior to doing the work and gave her a senior discount! Solid Plumbing & Drain is a wonderful company and treats their customers with the utmost respect. Communication also was excellent! DO NOT HESITATE TO CALL SOLID PLUMBING & DRAINS THEY WILL NOT DISAPPOINT! read more

I feel sad that I am the first one to write a bad review but my experience with this company was extremely challenging. I will say I was forced to use this company due to my home warranty's choice. But, nonetheless the company said they would take my work even though Mario reported being very busy already with other work from customers who were also using their home warranty for plumbing work. The first day a worker came over he did not properly turn off the water and we had a geyser in our front yard for about 3-4 minutes. Everything was soaked--it was a disaster. After that incident Mario called me and personally told me he wanted to review the work and would be over at my house the next day. The next day came and went with no call from Mario. I called Mario the next day and he ended up coming later that day. When he arrived he took a quick look at the work and told me he would submit something to my home warranty regarding the work that needed to be done. He said my home warranty would approve part of the work within a few hours given his past experiences with the company. I didn't hear back from Mario for a few days and decided to call him to follow up. He told me my home warranty wouldn't pay for the work and his hands were tied. This would have been nice to know as I was waiting to hear an update for days. I realize this company was dealing with a home warranty rather than the customer themselves but their customer service and follow up were so poor I will not sure them again, even if my home warranty will pay them to do the work. read more

excellent. prompt, courteous, professional. top notch. we dealt with angel who provided the best repair experience ever. so knowledgable, great problem solver and communicator. wonderful young man. we loved working with him. very thoughtful as well. would highly recommend. read more

Called around when my front yard started showing signs of leak on a Sunday. Found these guys and they were great. Super professional and knowledgeable - willing to answer my questions thoroughly. They came onsite quickly, diagnosed my service line issue, and temporarily fixed the leak so I could get the water back on for Monday and figure out the repair/replacement situation/cost. They didn't overcharge me for the leak detection and temp fix, as compared to other companies I called. When I pulled the trigger on the repair job, they came back on a Sunday and did a great job, and were very competitive in their pricing. I would definitely call them again for any other plumping issues! read more
