These folks are fantastic! I had an extremely slow drain in the shower, and they were able to come out right away. Jerry was prompt, he wore a mask and booties, and he got the job done even though it was a stubborn clog and needed another tool to get it out. He was also really kind and polite. Seriously, if you're having drain issues, give these guys a call! With their prices, you don't need to try and fish out the gunk yourself ... save yourself the nightmares lol! read more

They DON'T tell you that a 'trap' is necessary for easy access and the $35 fee. Without a trap it's $125. They came within the time window so I was happy with that. They offered the $600 on the roof cleanout and warranty which was out of the range of reasonable. read more

I cannot emphasize how much you should find a different company to come for your plumbing needs. I thought they were great at first, came out promptly, we paid for the service and a one year warranty. The issue happened again and they came out and then recommended we purchase another service. I declined and said at the time it was not something feasible to do. And they refused after that to service the home any more. No where in any document I signed was there print saying they can refuse service based off me not purchasing more from them. Because of that- I find this extremely shady. Mind you the service and warranty was a little under $500. Save your money and go to someone honorable and reputable. They will not even return my phone calls now. AND the receptionist got incredibly rude once I questioned their policy. Just red flag after red flag. Never again. -- in response to the owner so kindly responding finally I have called multiple times within the past two weeks. Your dispatcher was rude to ME and the tenants on the phone. Do not try to spin it just to save face. I also do NOT have a broken pipe but thank you for feeling like you should add that. Your guy came out with the wrong tools and never came back. And that's when your company stopped responding to me. I will be contacting the BBB. read more

Courteous and prompt same day response. However, they came by looked at the drain and quoted $585 for a drain / pipe cleaning. They did lowered the price to $485. They didn't perform any service at all or take any tools out but still charged the $35. Called another plumber and the drain was cleared in about 30 seconds. read more

$45 for a tub drain is a deal! 100% improved from a difficult clog. Jerry was prompt. He worked efficiently and neatly. Will use these services again in thefuture. read more

Jerry was very nice, he opened the drain cover, looked inside and pulled out a root stream, he put it down and the drain when ssssswish, the drained cleared. But, he said that you know there are more roots in the lines. So he explained I have an old house and we don't know what the inside looks like, we could go ahead with the normal cutting tool and snake, but if the tool snags the line, then more problems will need to be fixed. It's been over 40 years, and my neighbors house had so many roots in the plumbing lines the toilets were popping off the floor...so he said the best would be the high pressure cutting tool on the high pressure washer would cut the roots and not harm the plumbing, all for $485.00. Big difference in price, $77.00 vs: $485.00...but I'd rather be safe than sorry, so I went for the sure thing and paid the price. One year warranty. I hope I did the right thing! read more

Jerry came out ASAP for what we thought would be a routine drain cleaning. It turned out to be a nightmare project, but Jerry and his team were confident, professional, and worked incredibly hard to complete the project efficiently, competently, and at a reasonable price. We discovered my 1950s iron pipes had rusted through and had to break up the garage floor and my front yard to replace the line with actual pipes that worked. Jerry's guys did all the demo and trenched it all out and replaced it, working hard from sun up to sun down for a few days (it was a pretty large job) and I appreciate every moment of their labor. I wasn't able to pay all at once, but they were able to work out a very generous payment plan with me, and I finished paying it off today (work was completed last month). When they were done, they filled everything back in, redid the stucco on the wall they had to cut open, put in several cleanouts in easy to reach locations, did a wonderful job on the concrete, and I've used the newly tilled soil to start an organic garden in my yard. Also they all were very conscious of COVID guidelines and made sure to properly social distance if I had to get by and wore their masks when they would be around anyone. Thank you for all of your hard work! read more

This company was fantastic. I had a drain stoppage on a Sunday. I called three or four of the big-name companies in San Diego and none of them could come until Wednesday. The lowest price I could find was $53 from Andersen. Anderson could not come until Tuesday. Thank goodness, I kept searching, and I found $35 drain cleaning. I was amazed that they made an appointment for me the following day at 7 AM! The plumber, Jerry Garcia, showed up on time and managed to unstop my drain in less than 15 minutes. Very professional, polite, and good-natured. And the best part Is my bill was just $35 for service in less than 24 hours. Screw the big guys and do your Internet research! read more

They hook you with "$35 Drain Cleaning, but then make you wait several days for the appointment. In our case, the guy NEVER showed. We had a person waiting, looking out the front door, for 3 hours, but since their guy said he went, they refused to RE-schedule, unless we paid $35 twice. Ok, cool. We got another drain cleaner. But a month later, another clog came up, so we figured to give them another chance. This time, we were rudely told that "$35" us just for them to show up and then the technician will quote the additional cost to clear the drain... It's a stupid bathroom sink! How hard could it be? Totally deceptive! read more

They are a scam. $35 quickly turns into $275 when they arrive. Also tried to say I needed $1500 work on a studio apartment after he asked me what I do for a living. Do not answer any questions, they are only doing it to size you up and take advantage of you. Avoid at all costs!! read more

Our 75-year-old cast iron waste lines were rusted and in poor shape. I called three companies to get bids on replacing the waste lines and vent stacks in a small bathroom. When Jerry from Baird Drain Service arrived I was immediately impressed with his enthusiasm and can-do attitude. He told me that he takes pride in his work and enjoys the challenges it offers. He conducted a thorough inspection and after a phone consultation with his office provided a reasonable bid. When Jerry told me he could start work that afternoon, I quickly said yes. Because of the poor condition of our cast iron waste lines, it turned out that we also needed to replace the 53 feet long main sewer line. This is the drain pipe that runs from the house to the street. Digging a diagonal trench across our front yard wasn't easy. It entailed digging up a courtyard and sidewalk with pavers, burrowing underneath a 25-year-old olive tree, and taking care not to cut through PVC irrigation lines, drip irrigation hoses and low voltage cabling criss-crossing the front yard. Jerry and his crew made the job a priority. He was here every day and worked from dawn to dusk, including the weekend, until he finished the job at noon on Monday. During this entire project Jerry kept me fully informed of their progress through in-person chats and text messages. Each night before leaving Jerry and his crew cleaned up the yard and put up safety barriers. By the time they completed the project you could hardly tell anything had happened. I highly recommend Jerry and Baird. They are drain specialists. They repair and replace drain and waste pipes. They do not work on supply lines. So, if you're experiencing any drain issues, request an evaluation by Jerry from Baird Drain Services. I think you'll be pleased. read more

In a nutshell, their guys spent roughly 2 and a half hours running (2) 60 minute dishwasher test cycles and sitting around waiting for them to finish to "Diagnose" my issue. Pouring water all over my floors after each attempt, they ultimately advised that the Motor on the Pump of my Dishwasher was faulty and that I should replace the unit. They charged me $185, after I negotiated down from the original quote of $225. They never advised a price and literally spent all of 15-20 minutes actually looking at the unit. The rest outside on the phone because they didn't run rinse cycles to test the unit. We had another company come out the next day, clear our Air Gap hose, and wala, unit works perfect. (10 minute visit, $40 service call) I am super reasonable. I understand companies have bad days; but I expect a company to acknowledge when they have a bad day and right the wrong. Me agreeing to eat $75 of the original charge was a gift, but still they refused to negotiate a refund and kept all $185 of my money. $185 down the drain AND NEVER WAS THAT DRAIN "CLEANED" for $35! I made one last attempt to come to an agreement via Yelp Messaging and the Owner advised it was "Case Closed" and that I was "Free to leave a review, as that's my right". Super condescending, super difficult to get a hold of and not worth the aggravation. We will fight this charge with the Merchant Processor. read more

WARNING!!! This company is a SCAM!! NO STAR if I could. PLEASE READ THE WHOLE THING (I called them at 12:45pm due to Yelp's reviews). They said someone would be there around 4pm. First off, where do I start?? Ali came to my (rental) property and quoted me $600 (which I though was extremely expensive for replacing the garbage disposal and a leak under my kitchen sink). I agreed because he ALREADY sawed off the entire faucet & plumbing and left my tenants almost 3hrs without water. I got the impression he figured it's a "rental" in Serra Mesa/Mission Valley therefore he took advantage of overcharging me due to the homes in the area ranging $670k-$800k. Ali said he would go to Home Depot to get parts. I called Ali 3x and he disappeared, third time he answered and mentioned he went home and was sending Jose to come finish the job. WTF!! No call to let me know?? horrible communication. Jose came around 7pm, and then asked for another $150 because he had to "wax" the garbage disposal (bullshit, continue reading). I told him Ali quoted me $600, which included that. When it was invoice time, he said my total balance is $750!!! whaaaaat?? HERE'S THE KICKER!!! You ready?? I mentioned Yelp has $150 off if you buy the voucher for $100 on the app. Jose tried to say they don't take it unless it's "printed off". I called bullshit again and showed him the voucher showing to redeem on phone OR printed. I took a screen shot and said I would text it to him so he has the voucher code. He claimed he "didn't get it", and avoided all cost to save me money. Here it goes, THIS IS WHAT PISSED ME OFF!!! I asked Jose to pull out his phone so I can show him my phone number (out of state), and I NOTICED Ali's text.... saying, "try getting 700 from her". This made me furious & I was angry!!!!. I held my composure and pretended I didn't see it. This made sense why Jose tried to add on the extra $150 for a total of $750. Ali tried to take me for a ride, and Jose is the stupid mule to rip people off. When all done & said, Jose said he would drop it down to $625. Then begged me several times to leave a five stars review. F-no Do NOT support bad business!!!! Shame on you read more

Once again this company deserves another 5 stars, because of their great costumer performance, and their quick response to jobs sites. Because of this epidemic that we are facing, it was hard to find a plumbing company to assist me with a major plumbing issue. I called Best Plumbing, and Monika dispatched her technician Alejandro. What a relief, Monika and Alejandro were super nice and price was reasonable. They are now charging $35 for drain cleaning - your kitchen drain so take advantage and call them now. read more

Baird Drain Service is a horrible organization (you should not confuse this company with George Baird Service). This company who apparently is listed on Yelp as $35 Drain Cleaning but their invoice lists them as Baird Drain Service" is completely untrustworthy and does not at all stand behind their service and warranties. I called the company to assist with a clogged main line in August 2020. The technician who came out suggested that i do a "Jet Setting" instead of snaking out the clog. He said it comes with a one year warranty. I paid $377 for the service and warranty (the exact amount quoted for the service as indicated on the invoice i received). Although expensive, I was comforted by the 1 year warranty. By the way this "jet setting technology" is basically using your garden hose with a high pressure nozzle. DON'T BELIEVE THE $35 FAKE ADVERTISING!!! Approximately two months later, the main line got clogged again. They came out and cleaned out the clog with their amazing "jet setting technology". One month later, the line was plugged again (mind you i have never had issues before). The company did not answer my calls after the second incident!! I called 2-3 times with NO response and so I had to fix the issue on my own. I emailed the company a few days later (since they never called me back) as i was disappointed with the lack of communication, etc.. The individual emailing me never identified himself/herself even after numerous requests and told me that they will not provide any more service unless i paid an additional $108 which is the normal price they charge for the Jetting!!!!! I paid the exact amount quoted and as stated on the invoice when initial services were performed. He/she also stated in the email that "we have been asking you for this balance for some time now and you never called us back". THIS IS A COMPLETE LIE. I NEVER RECEIVED ANY CORRESPONDENCE FROM THIS ORGANIZATION SUGGESTING I DIDN'T PAY MY INVOICE IN FULL. I PAID THE EXACT AMOUNT INCLUDED ON THE INVOICE TO ME AND IT WAS NEVERY STATED THAT THE INVOICE WAS A PARTIAL INVOICE!!! I proceeded to call the office and was unable get thru on my cell phone (the phone number they have on record). I called 2-3 times on my cell phone and the line was always busy (coincidence??). I called with a different line and the receptionist picked up right away. I spoke with the receptionist about the issue and it was later revealed that her supervisor told her that he/she was going to take ME to small claims court for the $108!!! This company is the WORST services company i have ever worked with. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!!! THEY ARE NOT HONEST, THEY DO NOT STAND BY THEIR WORK AND GURANTEES, AND THIER JETTING TECHNOLOGY IS NOT EFFECTIVE. You may as well go and buy a high pressure nozzle and put your garden house down the drain. By the way the technican who came out was very nice (Jerri, I believe), but the organization he works for is an organization I will NEVER do business with again....nor should you. read more

I give this company 5 stars!!! Our sewer line got backed up and I called this company on a Sunday afternoon and Jerry, the technician came out right away. He hydro jetted the line but we asked if we need new pipes as our house is 70 years old. Jerry went under our house and checked and indeed our old cast iron sewer pipes and kitchen and others were rusty and had evidence of Tree root intrusion. We agreed it was time to get all new pipes and sewer line. The project took about 3-4 days without too many interruptions of our daily services. Jerry explained how the project was going to go and he and Ray did exactly as we were told it was going to go. Careful, thoughtful handling of the lawn and our plants, as they needed to dig to get to the sewer line. I would highly recommend this company for all your drain problems. Thank You Jerry and Ray!! read more

Great customer service and they got the Job done really fast! Definitely recommend them if you are looking for a plumber.

These people are fast! On the freeway, at least! If their driving is any indication of their work ethic, they'll zoom toward your plumbing emergency at break-neck speeds, cutting of all competition. I had Best Plumbing clear a drain several months ago. They cleared it and charged a fair price. The company seems to have sold or changed their policy of fair prices. I called them again recently and Franko came out and left after a short time and then sent a huge bill. I have not had service nearly as good as the first time, sadly. I feel like the treatment you get is very situation and staff dependent. One time they were approx 5 hours late. I felt overcharged and had definitely wasted my day waiting around and making calls to their operator. The next and last time I called for an estimate, I feel like the service was grossly over-estimated. I actually managed to make the repair myself (with only two minor temper tantrums, very few tears) for less than 10% of their estimate and without making some huge hole in my wall that the serviceman told me would be necessary. It's possible that he misunderstood the problem, but the whole interaction just didn't sit well with me no matter what. read more

I didn't hire them. Make sure you have a "clean-out" or you will be charged a lot more than you think. $77 with clean-out and $285 without. I've had many drains cleared and have NEVER paid $285 nor did I today. Thank you for your time and estimate, just wish we could have taken care of my tenants instead of trying to over charge for a basic clearing.
