I was helping…read moremassage spots and found one a 6 min walk away, after reading some google and Yelp reviews I decided to give it a try. It was $60 for 1 hour of deep tissue. My massage therapist was Leah and she was amazing at getting out all the knots and her pressure was on point! As someone who lifts 4-6 times a week, I need someone who isn't afraid or gets tired easily when they give me a massage. I felt like my 2 previous spots in astoria just wasn't doing it anymore as the quality went down and it wasn't doing the level of service that an athlete like I needed. They give you water after it's done and accept card as well even for tips which I appreciated. I will be back every 4-6 weeks here as my new spot. I felt like a new human and I was no longer in pain! Thanks so much!

I enjoy deep tissue pressure massages. Michelle is truly amazing! They really knead and work to get every knot out. If you're sensitive you may want to try a different location but if you're looking for a no frills bottom line spot? This is your place! And super affordable.

It isn't my first time getting acupuncture, but I should have come to this place earlier. My prior…read moreexperience was subpar, but this place set it right. I got a shoulder pain from carrying a heavy travel bag. A friend referred me there. It's pricey, but the pain isn't going away, so I bite the bullet for it. You have to make an initial consultation appointment before any visits. I did it online it was easy. I got the appointment, and I showed up. Seung was my initial therapist. He is careful, attentive, respectful, and has an excellent bedside manner. We did the consultation. He gave me the suggestion and asked when I wanted to start. Well, immediately because my shoulder is hurting. He did acupuncture, cupping during the first session, and some massage on my shoulder. My first visit was 2hr long. Time wasn't an issue, but some places want you out asap. This was not the case. The cupping really showed where my shoulder needed some TLC. I had pepperoni marks on the exact spots for days. I went back a week later and did the same thing. My treatment plan was a five-session course. I do see meaningful progress after each. And I got to take naps as I was getting the needles and cupping. I also had the pleasure of having two sessions with Bo. One spot needed some fine-tuning. She really did some magic on me. The pain in that spot went away immediately after she placed the needles. We were testing the before-and-after effect. I literally asked, "Am I imagining things, or did the pain go away?" She gave me a lovely smile without saying how proud she was that she got the right pressure point! I am still in awe of what happened. If you are hesitating about acupuncture, please don't. Give it a try. This place is beautiful--bright, clean, and peaceful. The staff is lovely!

THE MASSAGE I mainly felt that the massage was very uncomfortable because they never asked me any qualifying questions. When I arrived, a lady had helped me prepare, but then after I had laid down in a dark room and some whispering, what seemed like a male had taken her place. Immediately I felt myself tense up, because I felt more vulnerable being undressed under the sheet, while not expecting to be a given a massage by a male. And the whole time, I felt like something felt off, but I didn't know how to bring up the switch. On top of that, spas generally ask if you want your glutes to be massaged, and I wasn't asked and more so just a verbal check-in after the fact. After that experience, I didn't get a massage for a whole year, and yet I felt a need to tip them as the front desk lady and the masseuse looked at me expectantly. I'm not sure if they are aware of how the lack of communication could impact customers, but hopefully they can create a better experience for customers in the future. THE EYELASH EXTENSIONS I came in to try the deal that they were offering around the same time. The lady who did the extensions for me was truly giving her best, I could tell, and was very friendly. However, the process, wasn't totally smooth. I recall my eyes stinging because the glue would get into my eyes and after the entire experience was over, I realized my eyelashes were very stiff because there was too much glue used on each strand of extension! I think overall, despite the nice intentions of the staff, the services were subpar compared to many of the spas/extension spots I've been to, and it's like they are oblivious to this! I'm glad I finally got this off my chest after so long.
