We are looking at granite or stone countertops and I can't even get any ballpark figure as to how much money it's gonna cost me. If I go to Home Depot, at least know how much of the stone is and I can ballpark estimate the cost of the job. for them, I told it will be "three weeks" till the owner can come out and look and give me an estimate. I am here now not in three weeks and that likely applies to a lot of people on the shore and pushes people to the big box stores to buy their granite. I would prefer to use this local business, but getting a cost estimate three weeks in the future is not helpful to me and precludes me from using them. If only they could post rough costs for their samples.

Or even eye contact for that matter. I finally asked a question of one of the associates who walked into the aisle with another sales person. She's answered curtly with a "no," and walked off. With that, my husband (who was milling about in another aisle) said, "no one wants to wait on you." Kidding - not kidding me and said let's go - I'm not buying anything here. There were at least five or six sales associates waiting on one customer. We walked out. I'm returning to my fantastic store in my previous home town. The second team, although I was told they were the same people, I knew that was not true. They were not friendly, not happy to be working so late although we said they could come back the next day to finish the "trim work." Teresa insisted they were the same guys and that was not accurate. A friend was there both times and also agreed it was not the same team. I felt that Teresa was not going to discuss it. It was almost as if she knew I was going to question her about the team. They were not as neat as the first team- big difference.
