Professional company with excellent quality and friendly, courteous crew members! A company that…read morereally cares about people and doing things right!

Very smooth sales pitches. Be mindful, he gives you what he wants you to have and not what you ask…read morefor. Also watch for Eddie's scope creep, it'll cost you. My parents had a patio with beds and sod installed, entire yard renovation. Never had a crabgrass or sedge issue before Anewalt's came. When my parents complained about the new weeds in the new sod and new beds, Eddie was more than happy to offer a yearly spray service, plus mowing, and suggested more services (with yearly prepay and contracts). Be warned, if you refuse him, he'll throw a tantrum, belittle you, tell you that he operated "at cost" for your job. He also lied to my parents about the materials he used (bait and switch), claiming to use only good slate or stone and never concrete. He claimed concrete was a poor product and that "none" of his materials were "concrete, because it always cracks." After a week into the reno, after his crew left my parent's site, I inspected their work and turned over one of the new patio tiles only to find a concrete stamp on the backside. Also, in my parents contract, it clearly stated that they purchased a complete pallet of tiles, and I expected the remainder to be left on-site (in case any of his "concrete always cracks" tiles cracked. I found his crew collecting the remainder (2 layers) for removal. I stopped them and they were shaken, saying they had to remove them, that Eddie wanted them. I found out later, through one of his former landscapers, Eddie collects "spares" (patio tiles, etc) from jobs and bundles them for bulk auction to make extra money at his year's end. Stay away from this guy and his business. He does our church's landscaping too, at cost. Makes him look like a great guy in our West Reading parish, keeps the admin fawning over him. It's all to work the scene, good PR. If you think spending a lot for little value will make you look cool for your neighbors, go ahead and sign with him. If you want what you ask for and not what someone else thinks you deserve, take your money to another landscape business.
