Mr. Tree took down 4 huge trees for us and ground down 2 of the stumps. They did a fantastic job. Their price was great compared to other quotes we received. They arrived promptly, worked quickly and let the site cleaned up nicely. The employees were all friendly and professional. We're so happy to have found them. The companies we've used in the past hadn't delivered on their agreements so this was the first time we were completely satisfied with a tree company. I needed an overgrown evergreen removed from my front yard as well as a few trees trimmed out back. I gave these guys a call and in a few days Mike's crew was out prompt and early with lots of heavy equipment and knocked the job out in a few hours. Mike took great care not to damage a couple of wires that ran through the evergreen and did a great job avoiding contact with the roof bringing down large branches that hung over the house. The crew worked fast to clean up almost as fast as it hit the ground. Price was reasonable and the guys were very nice and professional. I'll definitely call them again when I need tree service and I'll be recommending them to anyone who needs tree service in the area. read more

Mike and his crew were awesome. Mike gave me a more than fair estimate on a tough job and followed through with all of his promises. He exceeded my expectations from start to finish. His crew were professional, polite, and hard working. You can tell that they know what they are doing and they function like a well organized team. My job involved a temporary road closure and power shut off, a crane, and the removal of large trees that were compromising my house, powerlines, and many extended over the road. It was incredible to watch Mike and his team get the job done. They began working at 9:30am and had 7 trees down and cleaned up by 2:30pm. I could not be happier with Mr. Tree and I highly recommend Mike and his crew for any tree work you may have! read more

Highly recommend Mr. Tree for all your services. Prompt response, best estimate out of FIVE we were quoted and they were able to take out two large trees the following week! Workers were very organized and work like a team and got the job done. They also removed all debris and large pieces of trunks the same day.....Left property spotless ! I do not know what I did to warrant the service or lack of service we received from you. We started this project in Feb 2021. Based on neighbors reviews, we decided to go with you guys to remove a large oak tree behind our house. and here we are, almost a year later and I have started the process all over again. After numerous attempts to contact you, promises you would keep me informed only to have no contact from you at all. I have e-mailed you and phoned you to no avail. If you didn't want the work, all you had to do was tell me. Well, you are off the hook and someone else will be doing it. Thanks for nothing. The reviews say great communication and customer service. We saw no evidence of it on our end. read more

History

Established in 2011.

Mike Rupnicki founded Mr. Tree after 3 years of employment at an engineering consulting firm. Back then, the effects of the recession were overwhelming. Mike survived 3 rounds of layoffs, but grew so bored with his work that it was time for a dramatic change. After Mr. Tree was born, boring days at the office were traded for hard worked days in the field.

From my 'phone call for an estimate, to the completion of removing 3 very large trees close to the house, Mike and his crew were amazing. He had the the equipment, from the crane to the stump removers and everything in between. The crew was on time, friendly, and professional. They all knew what to do and how to do it. Due to an untimely storm, wind, heavy rain, thunder and lightening, they had to leave, but still took time to clean up the street, then returned early they next morning to quickly finish. Thru the years we have had many large trees down, but not with such a great crew, including the owner. Other companies often left something undone, or did not clean up as they said they would. Not with Mr. Tree, everything was taken care of....clean, neat in my yard and surrounding area. Mike is a good as his word and gave a very fair estimate for a difficult job. I can't say enough about the professional and personal service from Mike. I was quickly given a personal visit and estimate from Mike and communication of services was on point. The estimate was more than fair and I felt very comfortable and confident with a family owned and local business. I was not on the property when my service was completed but was left Way better than I left it. I would have never known that major tree trimmings happened as not a branch or ground dust could be found. Mike and the Mr. Tree crew were awesome. We had a big, but delicate job due to the location of the tree in relation to our house and newly installed fence. They were able to bring a gigantic crane in to safely remove the large Norway Maple in our back yard without having to take apart our fence. They even left a bunch of logs for me to use for firewood and cut them down to the right size to fit into a splitter to make it easier for me. And the price was very reasonable to boot! I would recommend the Mr. Tree team following my experience. Mike is very personable, his prices are fair, and his team is very efficient and clean. We had a large leaning diseased Poplar that threatened the neighbor's house. The team did a great job of maneuvering their equipment around all the obstacles on the site. The tree was down safely before I knew it. They did a nice job trimming another large Poplar as well, and they took two brush piles of sticks at no charge. I will call them again. Mike did such a great job on our big Oak Tree. It had not been trimmed down in a while and I was worried it was going to look bald after he was done! But, he cuts with precision and care for the tree and for the safety for himself and crew. It looked stunning and healthy after he was finished.
