Why not tell the client when a weed guy's coming because you "forgot" to lay the weed mat down? Why not follow up on mowing services that you offered? All of these questions literally relate to the services I paid him for or that he offered. What I do know is that my family and I work really hard to keep a nice property and are willing to pay the rates put in front of us to keep it that way; but, we also expect to have the services we pay for (and, yes, Scott cashed our check!) completed in a timely fashion and to specification. The interactions I had with Scott were not of a guy interested in doing the work he signed up for. They were awkward and uncomfortable, like I did something wrong. The main reason I even sought a landscaper was to put down a weed mat!!!! Scott didn't do THAT! Today, I arrived home to an envelope in my mailbox with a check for the amount that we paid Scott and a note: "Our business is concluded! Do not contact me again!" Scott, if you are reading this: I wanted a mulch job finished with a weed mat installed. I wanted to know if the weed guy you promised was going to come because I literally have had to weed a ton since you put the mulch down. I wanted to know if you would cut my lawn. Nothing else. And if what you did was your idea of business, yikes!!!!! Future customers of Chomitzky Lawn "Care," look at the truck he drives. It's old and beaten up.
