I accepted the quote, left multiple voice messages and multiple emails - which with evidence were opened and read because I have professional tracking email software that monitors and provide email reporting, in order to schedule to have the work executed. David lacked the professional courtesy to follow up and follow through on a landscaping assignment he committed to. In short if a business does not honor it's commitments and a business owner does not honor an agreement and/or their word, the business and the business owner cannot be trusted! After the fact I saw other individuals posted reviews on Google and Facebook having the same type of encounter, apparently this a pattern with David - not returning potential customer phone calls when he has committed to a project and not following up with potential customer email inquiries. I was fortunate enough to locate and work with a true professional landscaping company licensed and registered in NJ & PA (SKYVIEW LANDSCAPING & MAINTENANCE), with a perfect customer rating, has a professional Website and SKYVIEW LANDSCAPING & MAINTENANCE were consistent with communications, projects are fairly priced, and THE SKYVIEW LANDSCAPING & MAINTENANCE team were a pure joy to work with. I WAS INITIALLY SUSPICIOUS OF WHY I DID NOT SEE A PROFESSIONAL BUSINESS WEBSITE FOR LAWN & ORDER LANDSCAPING SERVICES, LLC. OTHER THEN A FACEBOOK ADVERTISEMENT AS MOST PROFESSIONAL/LEGITIMATE BUSINESSES HAVE BOTH, but I only focused on the positive reviews, which should have been my first red flag! Hence the lesson in this review regarding the unprofessionalism and unethical practices of LAWN & ORDER LANDSCAPING SERVICES LLC. and its owner. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME, STAY AWAY FROM LAWN & ORDER LANDSCAPING SERVICES, LLC.

After twenty five (25) years of being a homeowner and professional experience with firsthand…read moreknowledge of proper business norms/ etiquette from conducting business with previous licensed professional contractors in contracts agreements, valued in some cases on the higher end of five digit numbers, I had the misfortune of encountering & wasting valuable time with a small business owner, Minor Arguedas (please note - whenever possible I always try to support small businesses), operating at the "Minor league level" in the landscaping/hardscaping industry when the owner of Minors Landscaping had the audacity to: FIRST RED FLAG-naively made his first mistake by showing a lack of respect for a potential customers' professional time and work schedule when he made a last-minute request to come an hour and half earlier on the same day of a previously scheduled lawncare onsite consultation to obtain a quote after I contacted him to confirm the original appointment time. Minor also had the gall to become slightly irritated and started his rambling on about how unique his outdoor work schedule is (mind you, I have worked with my fair share of different types of private contractors across the spectrum, in which their craft requires them to work outdoors and never can I recall one of them ever complaining and whining about "WAIT FOR IT" - "Weather And Their Work Being Outdoors", which by default comes with the territory when you possess a skill or trade requiring you to actually "WORK OUTDOORS". Due to my schedule opening up during the later part of the day, I was able to meet with him before the original scheduled time, but not at the unrealistic time he wanted to meet as I had to give him a small lecture on basic common-sense principles of having mutual respect and consideration for everyone's time and professional work schedule. SECOND RED FLAG - Unfortunately, Minor brought a "Chip on His Shoulder" and his unprofessional self-entitlement disposition to the onsite consultation with me, to his chagrin. At one point during the consultation, expecting his tone to change, I informed him that I did not feel comfortable about how this encounter was going, so could we move forward and could he focus on the sole purpose of the consultation, just to see if he would step up, course correct and focus on the task at hand. Minor proceeded to dig himself even deeper into a hole. While I walked Minor across the property, giving him some important history and landscaping FYI's specific to my property, he was more focused on what he could not do rather than focusing on reasonable solutions. All this while continuously to the point of obsessively complaining yet again and bringing up petty grievances comparing his job which requires him to work outdoors to the work of individuals he appeared to have great disdain for, by referring to individuals who have cushy jobs working in air conditioned offices inside of "Ivory Towers" referring to individuals with professional and white-collar jobs. Does Minor not realize that the very people he has this great disdain for are the very people (customers), that signs his paycheck. Although I had absolutely no intention of conducting any type of business with this individual, just to see how this would play out, he quoted me a price. When I informed him to send me an official quote and a business customer agreement, he become contentious and informed me - WAIT FOR IT" - that his word is the agreement and that he doesn't provide written quotes for lawn cutting services. Now I can also add unethical business practices to the growing list of RED FLAGS plaquing this out of touch business owner. At this point, Minor had tested and exhausted my patience, and I firmly told him, WE'RE DONE HERE, LEAVE MY PROPERTY. He had what amounted to a toddler having a temper tantrum when he unnecessarily sped off in a tizzy in his truck liken to that of the behavior one would expect from a spoiled juvenile who didn't get their way. THE SECOND AND FINAL RED, FLAG I WILL BE DISCUSSING WITH MY LAW ENFORCEMENT COMMUNITY! Hopefully this review along with taking a few customer service, business etiquette/ethic classes, some counseling and undergoing the maturation process to (grow up), will serve as useful tools for deep personal introspection and perhaps changing the approach to how Minor conducts professional business from this point on in 2026 as "Pride Always Comes Before a Fall," and hindsight probably also explains why the 14 perfect Google reviews (which was one of many vetting tools I used in seeking out his company) were all from 6 years ago in 2020. I thought I would be meeting the 2020 Minor, but instead disappointingly in 2026, during my last phone and face to face interaction, I met with a person who displayed the behavior of a very contentious, self-entitled petulant juvenile and not a serious business minded professional adult. I absolutely would NOT recommend this business.

We reached out for a quote and Daniel, the owner, schedule a time to come to our home. He was prompt and on time. From our first meeting, we had a very good sense that Daniel was humble, down to earth, and cared to do right by his customer. He provided a professional recommendation and design and worked with us to meet our needs and budget constraints. It is very rare, in our experience, to find an honest and reliable contractor who follows through and does what he says. Daniel and his crew created an amazing paver area in our backyard, identified areas for which prior contractors and work created challenges and offered solutions which they even were able to resolve. The crew showed up early, worked late and never left a trace of their work during the day. Daniel stayed in contact with their schedule, any challenges or delays, and communicated with us to ensure our needs were met and we were happy. My husband and I are in love with the area created by Daniel Zavala and his team. We look forward to hiring them in the future for other landscape projects and would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for any hardscape/landscape work. You will not find a more trusting, reliable contractor who does such quality work that all can take pride in.
