Everyone I spoke with, including hairdressers said that was inappropriate for her to charge me again, especially since she's the owner. Other facials I have received have always felt a bit "going through the motions" at various points or throughout all of the facial. With Michele, her passion for esthetics and her client's needs are so evident not in how she talks, but in every part of each service. I have had my eyebrows waxed and tinted by Michele. I was so nervous about the color being too dark, and she listened to me, explained what she was doing the entire time, and then showed me right away. They were perfect. The facial I received from Michele truly (as I said above) was life changing for me in the way I care for my skin. Twice in the last few months the person who was doing my hair cancelled the morning of. I completely understand life happens - people get sick, emergencies arise, but when it happens twice in a row, the salon should do something more then send a generic text and then ignore their customers. After my replies to said text were not answered, I had to take it upon myself to call the salon to see if they could get me in another time. I made this appointment FIVE WEEKS in advance and needed my hair done for an event over the weekend. The woman on the phone was not very nice. When I expressed I was disappointed because this is the second time in a row this happened, she just said "we can't have people work when they're sick..." she completely missed the point. If I get cancelled on last minute, twice in a row, and you can't accommodate a new reservation, give your customer a discount or a free hair product. Not an attitude. Especially when the salon would have gladly charge me in FULL if I was the one to cancel last minute. Thankfully, I was able to find a place in the area that took me last minute so I will be paying them from now on. There are plenty of other places, who charge better, and care about their customers, so tread carefully with this place.
