bethany taryn salon is the place to go. i was lucky enough to book with bethany herself, and…read morealthough i had to wait 4 &1/2 months after a consultation for a color appointment, (7 months since i last colored my hair), as well as another few weeks for extensions, it was soooo worth it! the salon itself is extremely clean, well-maintained, and stocked with only the best products including oribe, k18, colorwow, etc. bethany is an absolute gem and incredibly talented hairstylist & woman! she is extremely passionate about her work, as well as all of the stylists here providing the highest quality service, and educating clients on their options. i felt like she provides a ton(!) of education and gives her clients exactly what they want, and does not override your own desires like some stylists do. i have been disappointed by hairstylists for decades, so i had taken matters into my own hands and maintained my own hair color for many years based on disasters i experienced with other stylists. my hair had gotten so damaged that i was desperate to find the right stylist that would fix & restore my faith of putting my hair in someone else's hands. bethany and her stylists are all more than qualified and i'm sooo grateful to have found them! i searched locally for blonde specialists and i came across bethany taryn salon, checked out their pictures and reviews, and they are all telling the truth. no matter what state your hair is in, you will leave here feeling like a masterpiece. confidence infinitely boosted! it will take over a year to ultimately get the results i desire (because of me), and now i feel like i have a stylist who cares about my hair as much as i do. services are reasonably priced for superior care and quality. i only wish i knew about this salon sooner! ambiance: 5/5 service: 6/5 bethany taryn salon: 5/5

I needed some custom clip-in extensions for my wedding, as my hair has a highly specific thick, coarse, curly texture, and complex mixed-blonde color. I went in for a consultation - and when I say Gia's an extension guru, I mean it. Together, we crafted the perfect mix & match set of extensions, fully curated - including length, density, texture, highlight and lowlight colors / tints - to my exact hair needs. She was even able to fully match the texture to my specific curl pattern! The package was *barely* more expensive than purchasing a NON custom pre-made package from somewhere like Bellami. So worth it. When I received the extensions, I could not BELIEVE the quality. The color, the curl pattern, the texture and density... all perfect. I can wear them as-is to match my natural curls, or wash and blow dry them straight to be styled however I please (which is what I did for my wedding)! I was also on a time crunch - Stitched promises a 2 week turnaround for extensions, and when the process was taking a little longer due to the factory losing power, Gia personally saw to it to expedite as fast as humanly possible, texting me with constant updates and the tracking number once she received it. Since my wedding was out of town, she also offered expertise on my own personal hair coloring appt before the wedding, as well as best practices for extension placement, styling and care. If I were in town, I would've for sure had Gia do the installation of them as well. I felt so held by Gia throughout the entire process, and am SO happy with the final product. Everyone I spoke with, including hairdressers said that was inappropriate for her to charge me again, especially since she's the owner. Also, I wanted more layers and she chopped the side of my hair so bad that I almost had a mullet. She's not a good hairdresser. I am very disappointed and I would never go back. I picked a different shade of green than I've had for the past few years and wanted to add some metallic looking blue... it came out really cool but a week later I was missing my old color and Chloe brought me right back in and added in hints of my original color. I am ABSOLUTELY OBSESSED NOW. My sister got a Keratin treatment from Jaymi and it came out really good. She has very thick hair that's almost down to her waist and has a hard time finding anyone who has the patience and is willing to take the time to do a good job with the keratin treatment (it's a very long tedious process)... my sister also doesn't like to talk during her processes and she said Jaymi picked up on that pretty quick and didn't make her talk which she absolutely loved. I visited this salon in June, and 6 months later I am still dealing with the damage that was done…read moreto my hair. Out of respect for the stylist, I will not be sharing her name, however I feel I need to share what I have been dealing with so others don't go through the same experience. I went in for a full foil - a process that this stylist had done on my hair before, in addition to balayages and other processes involving bleach. I was at the salon for hours, which was abnormal, and walked out with hair damaged beyond belief after spending about $300. The underneath layers of my hair were melted off, and the rest of my hair was snapping and breaking off in clumps, to the point where I could hardly even comb my hair with a wide tooth comb without losing significant amounts of hair at a time. My roots were uneven, I had a large stripe on the back of my head, other areas had color banding, in addition to the irreversible damage that I had never experienced despite getting bleach processes done regularly for about 8 years. After this visit, I contacted the salon about my concerns, and the owner agreed to look at my hair. She told me it looked fine and that the damage was not as bad as I thought, despite the fact that she herself had never dealt with my hair before. Only after I repeatedly expressed my concerns did she agree to tone my roots, and I walked out for a second time with hair so damaged and nowhere close to what I had requested in my initial appointment. I then went to visit a different salon in the area, where the stylist that helped me informed me that I would likely be dealing with the repercussions of this damage for at least a year, if not longer. At this point, I contacted Allure again to get my money back. Despite getting my money back, I have spent a significant amount at this other salon trying to fix it, yet I still experience a lot of breakage that I never dealt with before my last appointment here. If you are looking to get a blonding or bleaching process here, I strongly suggest to look elsewhere. The damage that was done to my hair here was devastating, and has lasted for months with no end in sight.
