So looking at yelp locations for barbers and salons out here and finding one that was open before 9 o'clock was difficult. Guess who found one that was open before nine?! The haircut exceeded my expectations. A sharp looking haircut at just the right length with the right amount of bulk taking out up top. What threw me off is when the stylist brought me up to the shampoo station and gave my head a wonderful shampoo massage. Couldn't be happier finding a place open who can accommodate a man's cut on short notice. Bit pricy but then again this is the first time I received a shampoo too.

I got a highlight (full), Low light (full), a toner, and blow dry. My hair was a yellow color with no dimensions and damaged. She listened to all my concerns, checked my hair and was upfront and honest on what needed to be done. She was great with her timing too! No one wants to be at a salon all day!! I am amazed with my results and I'm so happy. My hair looks so much more healthier! I'm going back Friday to get a cut and blow dry! I highly recommend her! The salon itself is very clean and organized! They have some spa services I'm going to look into next. They do a great job keeping your appointment on time and it is such a relaxing experience. One thing to note, parking is super tight because of the nearby businesses so make sure you give yourself a little extra time to park and get upstairs because the parking lot is large but crowded. Everyone I spoke with, including hairdressers said that was inappropriate for her to charge me again, especially since she's the owner. Also, I wanted more layers and she chopped the side of my hair so bad that I almost had a mullet. She's not a good hairdresser. I am very disappointed and I would never go back. Other facials I have received have always felt a bit "going through the motions" at various points or throughout all of the facial. With Michele, her passion for esthetics and her client's needs are so evident not in how she talks, but in every part of each service. I have had my eyebrows waxed and tinted by Michele. Alex really listened to the color I wanted (unlike previous hair stylists) and finally gave me the bayalage I'd been looking for for years! I'll also never cut a regular cut after a calligraphy again! My hair is very thick so calligraphy thins it out, keeps it soft, and finally gives my hair shape. I've seen Alex twice now for color and cut and will keep going back! She is fantastic. I'm also excited to try out getting my makeup done there next week as part of their Valentine's Day special. NV the Salon is so close to home (Medford), close to the city yet don't need to deal with the hassle of parking.
