For years I had this place bookmarked as a place To Try, and on one fine Saturday morning, I finally called to schedule an appointment for a Foot Detox. 2019, new year with new health goals. I was surprised how easily I scored an appt for what I imagine to be a busy time on a Saturday, Noon-12:30 pm. Try getting a nail appt at that time, not gonna happen, at least not last minute. But maybe here, because they do manicures [and pedicures, I suppose] too. The place sits at a corner near an odd intersection, there is no parking lot but if you are lucky you can maybe get one of the two spots they have on the side walk or go around the block, it's residential parking. When I arrived there was one person getting a foot massge/reflexology, idk, but the place was empty. The lady finished up the massage and when she got up, she went and sat behind the manicure table. So I was actually the only customer. They set me up and my journey to detoxing began. The ladies are sisters and they were absolutely friendly and down to earth. The best part of this experience was waiting to find out what color the water was going to change to. It was a rusty red brown; toxins what could be cigarettes (I dont smoke lol), air pollution, cholesterol etc...who knows. I don't think I'd do it again, only because there is no proven fact that the color change is from metals coming out of my body. It could be the electricity and the salts in the water that create that color. Anyhow, it was fun and I enjoyed a good chat. read more

OMG. You will literally never want to go anywhere else ever again for a mani/pedi. This out-of-the-way little place is a hidden gem. Your manicure/pedicure here isn't your typical walk-in get-in and get-out nail salon set up. Come with time (and money) to really get the most out of your experience. And I specifically use that word - experience - because that is what you will have here. I was offered coffee, tea, water, you name it. I got a little goodie bag with chocolate in it. I checked in on Yelp and got 10% off my next service...the list of awesome sauce stuff goes on. The two lovely ladies who did my manicure and pedicure were absolutely phenomenal: friendly, warm, and talented with a nail polish brush AND even gave me a little taste of the reflexology services offered here. Sole Revival carries Zoya polish - no toxic stuff! The color selection was large, and the owner even helped me pick out my color based on what would look best on my skin tone. Overall just a really amazing experience. I am definitely coming back for a girls day with my sister, mom & aunt. (Semi-unrelated note: parking can be a challenge in this offbeat spot. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE!! Very rarely does a 5 star review eek out of my hands. But this time.. it's a WINNER! If you want the best pedicure around, this is your place. If you want to get amazing reflexology, this is *THE* place!! The spa itself is very clean and it's not over-crowded as there are only 2 pedicure stations and one manicure station. They use all formaldehyde free polishes and they have great colors! The pedicure and reflexology, though... it's really out of this world! There are a bunch of different flavor scrubs you can get which makes it fun to return. (I'm looking forward to the pumpkin spice next time around!) Make sure you splurge and do the half hour reflexology. It's really worth every penny! It's so relaxing! (I've passed out while she's doing her thing before but don't tell anyone! SHHH!) This is a hidden gem.... Tucked away on Kinderkermack rd., I decided to treat my boyfriend to a pedicure and 30 minute reflexology session as part of his birthday celebration. We walked in and the place felt warm and welcoming, great vibes all around... My first visit was great. I was very pleased. I was looking for professionals who maintained a clean environment and who could provide exceptional service, and I wasn't disappointed. My pedicure was on-point and my reflexology session was wonderful. I will be back in two weeks for an hour-long reflexology session. The quality of the services is outstanding, and my polish always lasts a bit longer than with other places--they use a very high-quality base and top coat. Catherine mixes her own scrubs, so she can customize them for you. Both she and Pam do a fantastic job. You can go anywhere to get a pedicure but you have to go here to get a 5-star luxury reflex/pedicure experience! I have been to spas around the world and this small but relaxing gem stands out as one of the best experiences! Definitely more expensive than your local walk-in nail salon, but this is so not that! First of all, at Sole Reflexology, you're getting *true* reflexology, not a foot massage. Also, from the moment you walk in to the moment you say goodbye, you feel truly indulged. I've spoiled myself there three times now, and each time I felt like I got extra-special attention and extra time too. The place itself is intimate, clean, and lovely. It's a special-treat kinda place (at least) a few times a year -- wish I could go more often though! read more

This is a place that sounds like it would be wonderful. Maybe it would be if the owner, Catherine, acted like a professional. Considering that the website lists no hours (she says she purposely designed it that way), that it is often dark and empty inside, and considering the bizarre behavior of the owner, I can see why her business is rumored to be faltering. It is as if she doesn't really want any business. And since my second experience with her was shockingly nasty and dishonest, I would say she doesn't deserve any. After one visit with a pedicure and manicure where she was incredibly chatty and pleasant to the next time (a week later) when I called for a manicure appointment, it was like a Jekyll and Hyde transformation. After a pleasant sendoff from her, a generous 20% tip (especially considering she is the owner) from me, she would not book another appointment for me. I called the following week and asked for an appointment. Virginia gave me a time and then, when she asked for my name, she seemed to hesitate and put me on hold. She came back and fumbled while making an excuse that she couldn't honor the time --that Catherine was sick and at the doctor. She said I could call back. Sensing something very odd about that, I stopped by shortly after to find Catherine there looking perfectly healthy and energetic. She certainly looked surprised to see me. I asked to get an appointment and, after flipping through her appointment book multiple times (and looking a bit wild and unhinged while doing it), she told me she didn't have any time and she wasn't doing manicures any more. Seriously? And she was very unfriendly and curt with me for no reason. So, I can only imagine that her only issue is that I am African-American and she has some racist views that don't allow her to give services to people that don't look like her. She was very happy for me to walk out with no services then or in the future and without a reasonable explanation. So if I could give her 0 stars I would. Enter at your own risk. read more

In one word-Awesome! I purchased the Travelzoo voucher and my appt was on a weekday morning (thurs) I was the first appointment and I had the spa all to myself. The reflexologist was a big guy with strong hands-this is way beyond a "foot massage" it was pure heaven! After the hour reflexology session I sipped some herbal tea while I got a pedicure from the Owner-she was great! ALSO worth mentioning is they stock Chemical free polishes which is a big plus in my book!! Particularly for those of us who are pregnant/nursing-you can never be too cautious in my opinion so I really appeciated having a "safe" option to standard nail Laquers. Overall a wonderful experience. The voucher made it affordable. This is a "treat" that I would love to have regularly but given the full price cost- maybe a special occasion only. read more

Bought the travelzoo.com certificate for a pedicure and reflexology, the pedicure was done first due to scheduling issues so after the massage most of the nails were smudged! I returned the next day to reapply the polish, and the same thing happened again! This place does not even have the fans (just cheap little ones) for nail drying! The owner was nice although she was somewhat pretentious. The guy giving reflexology was a little strange, given the quality of nail polishI am not going to return! read more

I love this place! My first visit was around 8 weeks ago when I had gone after purchasing a deal on Groupon. I went in for a pedicure and 15 minutes of reflexology with Pam. I had great experience. Returned yesterday for another pedicure and 30 minutes of reflexology (again with Pam). Is it a little pricey? Yes. Is it with every penny? Absolutely!! I will definitely be returning. read more
