On March 30th, a technician performed a granular fertilizer application on my entire lawn (or so they said they did). Their own inspection report (Invoice #A621944902) documents Time In: 1:40 PM, Time Out: 1:47 PM -- a 7-minute job. The result was uneven, striped fertilizer coverage across my lawn. See my photos. I reported the issue. A return visit was scheduled for April 30th. No one showed, and no one called. When I followed up this week, I was told a manager would contact me upon arrival. A technician arrived on May 7th and performed a re-treatment, but no manager appeared, and no one addressed the damage or took any accountability. Their pest control service is competent. But this company wasted my time, damaged my yard, and never took responsibility. I shouldn't have to fight this hard for a service I'm paying for. I would not recommend Turner's lawn care program, and I no longer trust them with any of my services.

Energy Seal did seal the attic of the house the first week in January 2013 and seemed to do a fine…read morejob. The sealing itself seems good. They were nice and pleasant. The attic and consequently the upstairs is much cooler than previously. I think it will be similar in August given how cool it was earlier in the week when it was in the 80s. Unfortunately one of the guys stepped through the ceiling putting a hole in it. I understand that accidents happen and they said they were going to fix it and put it back the way it was. The only problem was that it took until April 26, 2013 to get it fixed. All in all, they did eventually fix the ceiling, I just wish it had been faster. My recommendation is that if there are ANY problems do not pay the full amount until they are 100% resolved so you have a little leverage. I will say that although I had paid in full, they eventually DID fix everything back the way it was, they DID the right thing, and did it properly. I would have given 5 stars if it hadn't taken nearly 4 months.

Stan texted me 3 days before the job, telling me it was going to be $1,540, and they wouldn't clean out the insulation, "because that's not industry standard." Then he raised his price to $700. If he had originally quoted me at $700, I happily would have paid it. The fact that he increased his price, 3 days before the job, and failed to be honest is why I decided not to go with him. We had an armadillo problem, digging holes under our neighbor's fences, getting into a back and…read morefront yard digging holes in both and up against our house. Our dog has even chased it a few times late at night. It was our tree and hedge guy that found a burrow underneath our A/C unit. Of all the places why ours??? I did a little research and found CritterPro. They have good reviews so I sent them a message on their website and they called me within 15 minutes. I spoke to Edward and described the problem. He gave me a reasonable estimate and we set up a time for him to come up and set a trap. On the day, he called me about and hour early asking if he could swing by and I agreed. Edward was really nice. I showed him all the holes and the a/c unit. He stated that the A/C unit doesn't appear to have been used recently and offered to fill it in. As for the holes in our fence, we could block it with rocks or pavers to prevent them from slipping in again. If the critter comes back he said to give him a call. Let's see if he comes back. Well, it did. I called back and Edward came back out with a trap. He explained to me how the trap worked and how to free any other animals that may get caught in it by accident. The very next day the armadillo was caught, I called them, they took it away and refilled the whole it made. Two days later, another hole was created. Ugh, another one! This time Austin came out and reset the trap. He was so polite and answered any questions I had and tested the trap at least 3 times to make sure it worked. It took few days and even had to had to flip the trap around as we heard some squeaking from the hole, then we finally got'em! They came back out to pick up the trap and the picked up the little guy. Unfortunately that wasn't the last one, so we had another trap set up and caught a third one! We thought that there might be a fourth one but all we've caught so far is a possum. It's been pretty quiet so far. Hopefully that's the last of them. Thanks CritterPro for everything!

And they gave me false information about my old system... For example, I was told by AJ that I had significant mold in my system so I needed to replace the air handler because of that and they said that I needed to put in UV light any more mold that tries to build up. The UV light itself is $1400. When a team came to pull out the old air handler and put in the new one, I looked at the old air handler that they were throwing out and I didn't see anything that looked like mold and the crew that installed the new air handler said that they didn't see any mold anywhere. So the UV light was a waste and maybe I didn't need to install a new system for $15,700 and two months of waiting for them to complete it and get an inspection.
