Cannot be happier with how my car turned out. I went with the Suntek CIR and it doesn't take as long for my AC to cool the interior down after the car's been sitting in the sun for hours. Great product and friendly people. Thank you! read more

Awesome place, I had 3 cars tinted here and each one came out amazing. Also had the front end clear bra protection done on my newest car. The couple there did such a good job, you can't even see that it is on there at certain angles. Highly recommend the front end paint protection, and I wouldn't take my vehicles anywhere else for tint. read more

I'm very happy with the end result. They do a great job within a reasonable time frame (you can sit there while they work) and at a reasonable price. Side note: The place is a little tricky to find (not visible from the main street). read more

I have brought 3 cars here for tinting and am now bringing my 4th. They do amazing work. Very nice people as well.

I had my brand new Honda Accord done there a few weeks ago. They spent time explaining the MA laws regarding the legality and consequences of the tinting. I spent more time deciding which percentage than it did for them to tint it !!! Overall a stand up job. Nice touch with the sticker over the power buttion to remind you not to put the window till it dries. Update: Now a piece of roofing hits my car during the wind storm and wrecked the back glass(not to mention a lot of scratches in the paint). Called and was setup for the following Saturday with no problem. Very accomodating business with the customer service of 100 out of 100. read more

After reading favorable reviews, I called and made appt. to bring my 2010 Legacy sedan in for tinting. Great experience from beginning to end. They were ready for my car when I got there and did job while I waited - took approx. 1 hour. Love the job they did and felt the price was very fair. I highly recommend Solar Solutions! read more

Cannot recommend this place enough!!! One of the best tinting place in Greater Boston area. They are professional all around. They do exotic cars and treat every car like it is their own. They use high grade tint film and have multiple options to choose from. The best part about it is that the tint is cut out by the machine to fit perfect and the install takes about 45 minutes for the whole car. I get all of my vehicles done here and recommend all of my friends to go here. Great service and life time warranty for bubbling, fading, and peeling as long as you are the original owner of the vehicle when the tint was installed. Great service all around!!! read more

Just got my windows tinted on my sonata and it looks great. Great price and awesome service. Fast, professional and very honest people. Tints came with a warranty gave instructions on how to handle. Everything worked out great from the initial phone call to backing out the garage. Thanks a lot Solar Solutions keep up the great work. read more

I was there to remove a few tinted windows for a formal police car. After made an appointment, they did the job quickly with a reasonable price. The job was excellent without leaving any scratches. read more

Aight, so here's what it is on the lo.. I came roughly 10 mins late (because I'm a tard and got lost) nevertheless the receptionist was courteous (a little annoyed) and professional and they still honored my appointment. The location is clean and comfy, tv, cable, wi-fi, a/c, etc. They did an excellent job and I strongly recommend them. read more

I've been here for 3 times since I move to Boston, how many cars I change lol...they are always the best and still keep rolling!! Good job!

I was looking around yelp for a reputable place to get my two front windows tinted on my CRV when I came across Solar Solutions. Now I understand why they have NO bad reviews! Made an appointment for 3:30 yesterday with Danielle (owner?). I got stuck in traffic and called saying I was going to be late, she said no problem. Once I arrived they took my car in immediately , and I sat in the air conditioned waiting area where there was a flat screen tv and some magazines. I chatted with Danielle while I waited. She was very friendly, as was the guy who installed the tint. It took about 25 mins and the car was all set! The tint job was perfect. No air bubbles or any sort of imperfections. And to top it off, it only cost me $80 for the front windows. BARGAIN. I would recommend this place in a heart beat and will be coming back in the future whenever I need a car tinted. A++ read more

I arrived early to find them waiting for me and they got right to work as soon as I pulled in and selected the tint I wanted. This has never happened to me anywhere before. Usually there is always some wait for something. They were so fast and professional and they did an amazing job at a competitive price. I love my tint and I will be back with every car I purchase from now on. I highly recommend Solar Solutions. read more

I brought my car to Solar Solutions to get my windows tinted today and am very happy with their work. This is the fourth vehicle of mine that I've taken to them for window tinting and they have never disappointed. Friendly, fast service and they are very talented at what they do. Highly recommended...I would give them 10 stars if I could! read more

Very prompt service with a professional job. Great price and lifetime warranty. Highly recommend.

Fast, clean work and a very friendly staff, not to mention a very reasonable price! What more can you ask for?

Very reasonable price, great service, fast, quick and neat. I'm very satisfied and highly recommend Solar Solutions for anyone who is looking to tint their ride read more

I was looking to get the front two windows on my SUV tinted and came across all of the great reviews on Solar Solutions. I've gotten my previous two cars tinted at the same place on the South Shore when I lived down there so I was tentative to switch but I don't have time to go down there due to my hectic schedule. I called them to make an appointment and they were very accomodating. I got an appointment at the time I wanted, on the day I wanted. They quoted me $80 for my front two windows as well as the two tiny windows above my dash. (Very fair pricing) They told me it would be about 45 minutes to complete. I showed up, it took 45 minutes while I waited, and cost $80. No complaints there. I waited 5 days before writing this message to make sure there weren't any issues which there were none. Great place, nice people, and very efficient. As everyone said, it is a little tough to find. Very small sign with an arrow and if you aren't paying attention you will go by it. read more

Great place to get your car looking sharp! The tint film quality and color is great, the installation staff is fast and very nice and knowledgeable. The advise you on the legal percentage in MA and do the installation right. I brought three cars to them already and my husband brought four of his vehicles. read more

Solar Solutions is amazing. I took my 2004 Passat to get the windows tinted. After trying to do it myself, I though what the heck, this is a job for a professional. I brought it in one day, and after work I picked up my car. It looked amazing! The price was right, and the work done was A+. Thank you Solar Solutions! read more

I've had multiple cars tinted with Solar Solutions. Their service and product is excellent. They are professional and very pleasant to work with. They back up their product for the life of the car. They are always on time and the price is very fair. I've recommended them to friends and family and all have had a positive experience. read more

They do a horrible job installing and their hours of operation are awful!!! Don't go, there are better places that put in hard work. They don't answer emails quick either! read more

Hate to be the first one to rate so low but it is well deserved. Today 9/8/12, I went to Solar Solutions to get my car tinted. I made an appointment prior to going about 2 weeks ago, I emailed and was CONFIRMED and BOOKED for the first Saturday they had available and that was 9/8/12. I show up and they tell me I wasn't booked?? I then take my phone out and show the e-mails that confirmed my appointment. So instead of fixing the problem I was told the only next available time was at 2:30. They wanted me to wait around for 4 1/2 hours plus the time to tint the car when I was CONFIRMED for the appointment at 10. They said there next appointment available was on a Friday, sorry I'm not driving all the way back for YOUR MISTAKE! I had to drive an hour to get there and an hour back burning about a qtr of a tank. Im extremely disappointed after hearing a lot of good things from this place. Its to bad they didn't even care to fix the problem. Now I have to find another place. Update: On the following Tuesday I ended up getting a call from them saying I had an appointment at 2.... read more

These guys rock! I got some prices around and this place was the cheapest. They were right on schedule...did a fantastic job and I have a lot of friends wanting to know where my Caddilac CTS got done. Highly recommend Solar Solutions!! read more

Went to Solar Solutions after seeing two co workers get their windows tinted there. I called to schedule an appointment and the earliest opening was two weeks out but it was well worth the wait. I arrived and waited in a side room on a comfortable couch and watched the first 30 minutes of The Town on DVD while they put the tints on my windows. It was an easy process, the people there where really friendly and they do incredible work. I highly recommend this place. read more

Friendly people there, didn't take long for them to do the whole process at all. Plus you get a comfortable seating area with a TV.

Like others, I drove past the first time. It is back behind that white house at the stop sign. They were great to deal with, and did an awesome job. Even took the time to save my parking decal, which usually shreds even removing it. Waiting room was great, movies, TV, and couches. All around great experience. read more

Very happy with my windshield strip. Nice people, very neat work, but IMPOSSIBLE to find. Allow an extra 10 minutes of your driving time to get lost! read more

Good pricing, excellent service. Use for my limo service and highly reccemend.

I received the service yesterday (08/07/14) and fully satisfied. Even though I should wait a few more days or a week to see the final product, I believe it will be very nice. The owner and his wife were both great, nice, kind, and caring. I was able to see they put their best to present a great service. I will recommend this service to everyone I know. read more

Had my tints done at this location. Scheduled no problem. Staff was friendly. I asked for 35% film to be put onto my windows. Lady told me I already have a slight tint of 10-15% so she would have to put a lighter shade on. This part is not true by the way, I checked with my dealership. They also never used a tint reader to check if it was factory tinted. They ended up putting a 45% film on my windows without my consent. I addressed the issue a day after and they said they could fix it BUT I had to pay them for another tint job plus extra cost for removing the existing tint. This also happened to my friend. I wouldn't trust these guys, they are putting on lighter tints to probably save money on their end. read more

Had my Golf R tinted with 35% tint all around and it came out great. The job was done right the first and in a timely matter. The price is one of the better ones around and quality work. read more

Made an appointment to bring my 2010 C300 in on a Saturday morning to have all side and rear windows tinted at 35% and could not be happier with the quality of work and the overall experience. They were able to do all windows in under and hour while I waited and read through some magazines. When they had finished they put some tape over all the window buttons in the car as a reminder to not roll the windows down for 3-5 days (which has definitely helped me remember). They also provide a life long warranty on the tint, which is very reassuring. Plus, you can't beat the price, only $180 to have all the sides and the rear. I was reading some reviews talking about it was difficult to find the place, you really can't miss it, it's directly next to the stop sign on south road. I would absolutely recommend these guys to anyone looking to get their car tinted! read more
