I stay and do a Yin class afterwards. The temperatures are good - the Vinyasa and Yin are done at reasonable warm temperatures which is very important to me. If you like that really hot stuff, the Hatha classes are there, but I never do them due to the heat. The facility is nice with an excellent sound system. I love it that there is a variety of music, even within the same class. All of the instructors have been very good. Special mention of Kelsey whose classes particularly resonate with me. Kelsey often does one small adjustment per person per class, and that has slowly improved my yoga practice.

For a guy who loves to work out everyday at the gym, he was curious on trying yoga out. I've done yoga before but really haven't been maintaining it for a while.. normally I would do pilates which is somewhat similar.. so I agreed. He looked up a nearby yoga studio and came up with Momentum Yoga. He signed us up right away for the new member special which was 5 classes total in a month for only $20! You really can't beat that! The instructor, Tiffany is a great person to learn from. She definitely went with our pace (as it was a small class so she was able to pay close attention to each person) and helped us along with certain poses that were difficult. I swear my posture was better for the next few weeks. :) Watching my fiance do yoga was the highlight but he definitely tried and I was proud of him esp when he was the only guy there. haha... Our classes are over but I would definitely recommend Tiffany! She is awesome. :)

This yoga studio used to be…read morelocated in Normandy Park, but has moved to a bigger studio in Burien (off Ambaum) with plenty of space. Anne taught my prenatal yoga class. It was very helpful to me in so many ways... the class helped me stretch those tense muscles that develop during pregnancy, strengthen / prepare me for child birth and in general helped my body and soul relax! She is also really good about making sure your body is positioned correctly while you're in different poses and positions. There are other wonderful instructors that teach at the studio as well. I didn't know the difference between good and bad yoga instructors until I attended a few yoga classes at LA Fitness. It's definitely worth going and paying for "real yoga" and quite frankly, it's not that expensive per class. It's so much fun and you feel great afterwards!

I have always wanted to get into yoga but never had the chance until I was on maternity leave. I started going to the Limber Babies class and O M G my baby and I looove it. It's literally the highlight of my week. At the beginning of class Aubrey checks in with every person to see how our mind and bodies are feeling and what our bodies need work on so she can decide what yoga poses to help strengthen us. 1000/10 review for this place if I could! My baby and I literally adore the atmosphere and everyone (the other moms and babies there). We even made other mom friends and go to get coffee right across the street afterwards. If you are thinking about coming here but just on the fence about it, I can assure you that you will NOT regret it!
