It was missing the smallest little brass fitting. to re-hook the waterline. The brand is Pfister and the parts aren't readily available apparently. Luckily the nice guys at Ace Hardware in San Rafael sent me to Rubenstein's! George looked at the fitting I brought in my first visit and ordered the part directly from the manufacturer. Brian called me yesterday to let me know the part arrived! he also reminded me they were treating their customers to tacos on Friday to celebrate Cinco de Mayo! I came and picked up my part from Sam and my delicious tacos from the two lovely ladies who catered today's lunch. They are a caterer out of Hayward, but they cater everywhere in the bay area, so here's to #Taquizas el guero! I received wonderful service from the guys at Rubenstein's not only that my two fittings cost me a whopping $1.64! In the words of Charlie Sheen " Winning!!!!

It is small but packed with a nice mix of used books and the prices are really easy on the wallet. I have found everything from fiction to memoirs and kids' books here. It is always a fun surprise what you will come across. The store is super clean and well organized which makes it easy to find what you want without feeling overwhelmed. I love that the books are sorted by genre because it just makes the whole experience more enjoyable. They have two entrances you can use to get inside. One from Pine Street and another from San Anselmo Avenue. Town Books is located in the Courtyard building at the end of the hall so it is easy to find once you know where to look. The people working there are absolutely lovely. They are so friendly and welcoming that you instantly feel comfortable walking in. They are always happy to chat or help if you are looking for recommendations and you can tell they genuinely enjoy being there. Also they appreciate book donations. They accept gently used books during open hours in limited quantities about three boxes or bags per household. They also accept DVDs and CDs in their original packaging. They do not accept cassette tapes, vinyl records, magazines, games or puzzles. If you are ever in San Anselmo and want to spend some time with good books and great vibes this is definitely the place to check out.

This small but loaded school caters to the young and older alike. It has a bevy of accomplished and practicing musicians; teaching drums, guitars, piano, violin, cello. I see it as a place to perhaps learn to be a multi-instrumentalist. My first inquiry to the school was answered quickly and then put in touch with it's cello instructor (the instrument I wanted to learn). I was given a complementary hour of introduction and was sold after that. I appreciated the instructor's encouragement and that he did not sugar coat the road ahead to learn; I liked the challenge of that. This school has checked off all the boxes for me to learn. It is conveniently located in not quite down town San Anselmo and has a neighborhood feel about it. It is San Anselmo's very own School of Rock and Bach!
