Like the sign says, this is an Italian Wine Tasting Room. The proprietor likes to hold forth about the wines, and then provide some for tasting. The wines we tasted were pretty darned good, not quite spectacular. It's a really nice experience, especially considering this is a former Navy base. I guess that explains the rusting 5-inch gun mount outside the winery door, doesn't it?

Wine tasting at an old WWII submarine training facility? Seemed like a perfect plan for a Sunday afternoon with a best girlfriend! Very nice customer service, very cool guy behind the wines! nice vibes. This is the best place we found at Treasure Island, most original and cool. Also, apart from wines, you can get jewelry depicting the broken heart, based on the broken heart metal sculpture located temporarily at the patio of those wineries. I am glad that I check a website about random things to try and do at Treasure Island and this was top experience!

Another small but quaint winery. Simply decorated but cute. I didn't order any wine, however my sister did a little pricey but she truly enjoyed it.

This winery is inside a submarine.......how cool! I was at a Yelp wine tour event when we stopped here before lunch. The inside is very neat to check out and the story behind it is fun to hear with a glass of their wine in hand. They even had handmade caramel apple kits, and candies, along side the bar top and the people were very nice. I loved their wine so much that I went home with a bottle! Great location and great wine! Perfect way to spend a fun day on Treasure Island.

They are closed for business even though on all sites they appear open. We literally spent 30 mins in the rain looking for this place

Fun setting - unique! Great views of the Bay Bridge. Wines very drinkable and the tasting fee of $15 provides 5 generous pours.

I never realized that Treasure Island, so close to SF, had 4 wineries with tasting rooms on the Island.

TLDR: Cute sake/wine bar with a pretty interior. Excellent…read morebrew&vino selection. Very very clean & professional service. Literally a hidden gem. I met here with an acquaintance to discuss something important over drinks & we had a special time. The nature of our discussion was certainly influenced in a relaxed manner by the mild volume music playing, soft lighting, and high ceilings. The interior was beautiful, very custom lighting covers & wooden racks. Somewhat large selection of wines/sake but it wasn't overwhelming due to the simplified menu that they provided. Service was top tier, a server stopped by about three times to collect empty containers, refill water, and check-in about how the drinks were. With a friendly expression on their face each time. The lucky dog sake juice box and beer combo was SUUUUCH a good move! I've been a fan of the lucky dog/cat/chicken brand, for their fun packaging of beers. However, I did not know that they craft sake wine boxes too. That is out of this world! And I believe that, to use a baseball metaphor, they "hit the ball out of the park!" On this one. The beer wasn't half bad either. Would I recommend going to Millay? Hell yeah dude!!!

I'm so surprised this place exists in the city! I've been looking for sake bars in SF, and saw…read morereviews about this spot being fairly low key. It's not too far from the main street in the area, and the moment I got out of my uber, I knew this place would be a vibe! I came here at 7:30pm the day after Christmas, so it was empty. I love the vibe of Millay - artsy decor, pink neon lights, and cute seats to sit in. I tried two different types of clean + fruity sake, and it came in such a cute ceramics! The cashier helped us choose, and we were able to taste it before purchasing. I also loved their basket of Asian chips! They even made it a lil fancy by cutting the top and making it look like a bowl haha. A great spot for a small social gathering of 2-4 people. I love the chill vibes and intimate setting. I will defs be back!
