After interviewing approximately seven solar companies, reading reviews, comparing pricing,…read moreevaluating customer service, and reviewing BBB ratings, I ultimately chose SunMade Solar Energy to expand my existing solar system. One thing that stood out immediately was that their pricing was highly competitive with the other companies I considered. While pricing was important, what really set SunMade apart was that they hold both solar and roofing licenses. This gave me additional confidence because I previously had a bad experience with another solar company that damaged my roof, failed to fix the problem, and later went out of business, leaving me to pay for the repairs myself. Our sales representative, Jon Bernal, was professional, patient, and knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions and never made me feel rushed. There was one item that the system designer later clarified, and although it wasn't a major issue, Jon personally reached out to notify me of the changes. That level of integrity and accountability meant a lot to me and demonstrated that he genuinely cares about his customers. The installation crew was professional, arrived on time, kept the work area clean, and communicated well throughout the process. After installation, I noticed a section of concrete that had become uneven due to settling. I contacted SunMade, and they returned within days to correct the issue and followed up to ensure everything was satisfactory. That kind of customer service is becoming increasingly rare. The entire process moved efficiently. Our first meeting with Jon was on March 28, we signed on March 30, the system was installed on April 27, the meter collar was installed on May 13, and we received Permission to Operate about a week later. Jon also helped us identify and secure available rebates. I would also like to thank Tara in the office. When I needed copies of my contract documents, she provided them promptly and without hesitation. Another positive observation is that the owner, Oz, appears to be actively involved with the company and personally responds to customer reviews. I noticed this during my initial research and felt it reflected a company that values customer feedback and satisfaction. At the time of this review, SunMade Solar Energy held an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. Based on my experience, they delivered competitive pricing, excellent communication, professional workmanship, and outstanding customer service. I would not hesitate to recommend SunMade Solar Energy to anyone considering solar for their home.

Hello, I want to share my experience with Nova West Energy. While I was in the market to add a…read moresolar system to work alongside my existing one, I interviewed about seven different companies. I took my time researching, reading reviews, evaluating customer service, and even checking the Better Business Bureau. After all of that, I narrowed it down to two companies, Nova Energy and another local company in Fresno.Ultimately, I chose the other company because they hold a roofing license as well. This was very important to me due to a previous bad experience with SolarCity damaging my roof and not fixing it. I ended up fixing it out of pocket. That being said, Nova Energy truly stood out. Justin took the time to thoroughly educate me and presented a very well-designed system tailored to my needs. Honestly, I would have gone with them if it weren't for my prior experience and specific concerns. What impressed me most is that they genuinely care about their customers. Even knowing I was comparing multiple companies, they were patient, transparent, and focused on making sure I understood exactly what I needed for my home. Even after I told Justin I had decided to go with another company, he still took the time to make sure I was fully informed. He reviewed key details with me such as solar panel quality, system performance stats, degradation rates, and the difference between kW and kWh, just to ensure I was making the best decision for my home. That level of professionalism and integrity really stood out. In today's world, many companies treat business as just a transaction, sell a product and move on. Nova Energy is different. They take the time to understand your needs, educate you, and guide you without pressure. Their approach is honest, professional, and customer centered. Their pricing is very competitive, and they don't try to oversell. Instead, they explain your actual energy usage and make sure you don't overproduce unnecessarily. That level of integrity is rare. They also have excellent reviews, offer a strong 25-year roof warranty, and clearly stand behind their work. Even though they didn't end up installing my system, I believe my hesitation around roofing, despite them having a 25 roofing policy, was more related to my previous negative experience and my need for extra reassurance. If anything, if you are in the market for a solar system, I strongly recommend giving Justin a call. He is honest in his evaluation, does not try to oversell, and takes the time to answer every question you may have.

This review is from a long-time solar system owner…read more Planet Solar (PS) installed our Fresno-area home system which began producing electricity in early 2014. Until mid-2022, PS attempted to maintain the system's electrical production, except for identifying major warranted system component failures, then to now, by using daily data produced/provided to PS by the production system (which, we believe, is currently working). Comparing production periods (no data is available for 2014-2016 due to inverter failure; also, in 2017, 9.6 MWh was reported as produced): the 4-year production, 2022 -2025 to 2018-2021 was 49% (of the earlier period). From 12/4/2016 to 12/31/2025, roughly 108 months, no production occurred on 556 days, more than 18 months, or ~17% of the time. From July 2022 to February 2024, 20 months, including summer months, there was no recorded production. From June 26, 2025 -November 24, 2025, and from January 20, 2026 to today, May 21, 2026, no production has been recorded; however, we believe that production has been achieved in more recent months. At this time, our economic benefits, if any, from installing and maintaining our PS solar system remain unclear and highly uncertain. FYI

What was never clearly explained to my family was that the payment increases every year. At $470 per month, the deal sounded reasonable. But after reviewing the terms, the payment will rise to about $550 per month in 5 years, around $667 per month in 10 years, and over $1,000 per month by the end of the agreement. During the signing process, we were also encouraged to verbally agree and were told that reading the contract in detail was not necessary, and that we should simply trust what was being said instead. We were also pressured into signing the contract. In hindsight, this made it difficult for us to fully understand the long-term cost structure at the time of signing. Had we fully understood the escalation in pricing, we would have evaluated the offer differently. After the sale was completed, the sales representative stopped responding to messages, which added to our frustration. High Quality Products. Professional. Honest ...those are the top three ways that I can best…read moredescribe Turnkey Construction as an organization. I was referred to Turnkey from a Real Estate professional whom suggested that I give Turnkey a shot because of their reputation, when he found out that I was in the Market for Solar Panels; I was new to Fresno and naive to the construction companies around town. Upon reaching out to Turnkey, I was provided with a no pressure introduction to the company and the the products + services that they provide. I was in the market and I obtained 7 different proposals; I selected Turnkey out of my top 3 because of the following... 1) High Quality Products: Turnkey led the proposal with the US based product, Solaria as the manufacturer. After doing research on my own, I determined that was a product that I was interested in (also looks great) 2) Applied Professionalism: Robert, Jacob, Alex et cetera, are professionals. When I visited their showroom and when they visited my house, all representatives are clean-cut, tucked in and bring good manners with them. 3) Honest: Last but not least, I am meticulous when comparing proposals (especially when it's my own money) and Turnkey (Robert) was no-nonsense as the proposal was not the cheapest but it was the best when considering performance of the panels. Robert actually talked me down from ordering excess panels. More for your money: Because my house is custom/unique and had an old, leaky roof, I required a roofing job to be applied and Turnkey came through with a solution (roof rework had a 80% no-bid rate). When I needed my electrical-conduits routed in a special way, Turnkey came through with a solution. I can go on and on. I recommend to all of my friends and family who is interested in Solar to include in the proposal process as I am satisfied.
