Don't eat/drink it too fast though, as it will immediately go to your head. Later when the meal was over the server passed multiple times forgetting to go boxes. During this visit, I ordered the Burrito Gigante with high hopes since I've had similar burritos at other places. The burrito was so so and not very flavorful. The burrito had chicken (extra cost), rice, black beans, corn and topped with queso. The salad was a wonderful surprise to the meal.

So, we stopped at the first Mexican restaurant we came across, which happened to be El Campesino! El Campesino has two locations, one in Canton, Ohio, and another on Lincoln Way in Massillon, Ohio. Since we were driving past the Canton location, we decided to stop in and grab a to-go menu so we could look over the options and order what we wanted. The menu had a huge selection of Mexican favorites, including tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and plenty of other dishes you would expect to find at a Mexican restaurant. There was certainly no shortage of choices! The employees who helped me place my order and check out were very friendly, and their customer service was great. I always appreciate friendly service, so that was definitely a positive experience. Now, let's talk about the food! My wife and I each ordered one of the combination meals. I went with the Super Rancheros. Overall, most of the enchiladas were pretty good, but there was one that missed the mark. The enchilada filled with ground beef was very bland, as the meat seemed to be missing any real seasoning or flavor. Unfortunately, our order was also missing my wife's quesadilla, which was disappointing. In closing, our experience at El Campesino was just okay. While the customer service was great and the menu offered a wide variety of options, the food itself didn't quite impress us. I've tried Mexican food at other restaurants that packed a lot more flavor into their dishes, and I felt that El Campesino could benefit from adding more seasoning and flavor to its food. Having part of our order missing was another downside to the experience. Would I say El Campesino was the best Mexican food I've ever tried? Not quite. It wasn't a terrible experience, but it also wasn't one that left us wanting to rush back for another meal.
