Top shelf margarita, best in town!

Unbelievable how consistent and wonderful this place is, the best margaritas in Windsor Colorado guaranteed by me! Please tell me what you think.

Nice fresh chips. Bean dip and salsa. Overly salted dish so much so I couldn't eat it. Maybe the chef had a bad night. First time here and had high expectations. Strawberry mojito tasted like mostly sprite. Great service. Found the music a little overbearing but it is a Mexican restaurant.

Stopped in try try a local Mexican restaurant for lunch. Overall the service was good but at times a bit slow. Your standard fare was available. We tried the following: Been burrito plate - was alright in it's taste, a decent sized burrito with beans and rice as the side Chile rellenos - they were pretty good with standard sides and a good amount of cheese on top. Chicken taco salad - was good amount of chicken and toppings and a fresh shell. Chorizo queso - a good combination/balance of chorizo and cheese Overall a decent local place with balance of cost to portion size.

We saw this restaurant searching on Google Maps, and decided to try it. It is off the main roads. Saturday Afternoon at 4:30. We got seated right away, but the tables filled up right after we got seated. What bright folk artistry everywhere. They served thick corn chips right away, with salsa and refried pinto bean dips. I love pintos. Wife got the strawberry margarita and I ordered the house margarita. Very flavorful. Wife ordered sizzling parrillada and I ordered steak enchiladas. What huge plates. But so good I nearly ate all my order, but the wife ate less than half. The marinated steak in the enchilada was so pleasingly tasty. My wife loved all the separate servings on her plate. The fried onions were intriguing and delicious. I highly recommend this place. But space is limited.

Our waitress was basically non existent and rude when she chose to show up. The food wasn't worth the trip either.

Great flavor, not dry, perfect ratio of meat/veggie/tortilla. -the quesabirria tacos. Their consumé was pretty yummy! I think my only critique about these is that there could be more beef flavor... Maybe needs more salt?? - I love how they give you two chips with an order of tacos... To scrape up all the things that fell out of your taco at the end haha - there is a small eating area if you want to enjoy your food fresh! The mediocre: -their chicken taco was ok. It wasn't dry, which was great! I just wish it had a char on it to make it more flavorful - their salsas were not bad... But neither was spicy enough for me. -their al pastor taco was ok... There was something about the texture that turned me off. Idk it kinda tasted like marinated ground pork (even though it was minced?) -their birria taco - cause why get a birria taco when you can get a quesabirria taco for the same price!?! I would 100% be coming back just because their prices are pretty decent ($3/taco, $4/birria taco) and it is close to where I live. But I'll be sticking to their steak tacos and quesabirrias!

I really like the ambience. They do have some seats out here if you wanted to come sit. I definitely will be coming back to try their Al Pastor next.

This time, I had dinner with family and friends downstairs. The walls are adorned with Mexican wrestling posters and the tables circle around a huge bar backed by an impressive wall of tequilas and mezcals. Even the front entrance showcases Mexican distillates. The drink menu is creative, with lots of fresh fruit and thoughtful specialties, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. They also offer a vast selection of tequilas and mezcals sourced by the owners. I especially appreciated that the mezcals are served in traditional gourd cups, a jicara. The food menu is like a upscale taco shop, with innovative appetizers and tacos rather than the usual predictable options, like enchiladas in red sauce. I really like the California burrito and the Nashville taco, but all of the food was enjoyed. They also have a great selection of salsas.

The bean dip was decent. The waitress first brought a side plate filled with diced jalapeños, tomatoes, onion, cilantro and avocados. Shortly after the shrimp cocktail with saltines arrived. It had plenty of saltines on the plate thankfully. The goblet was on the smaller side and was filled to the rim with sauce. OK I guess I gotta dig in the make room for the condiments. For those of you who don't know the sauce is usually a Clamato mix and super flavorful. This I swear, tasted like the liquid from a can of whole tomatoes. Or possibly ketchup water but I think the former. There were 8 boiled shrimp hiding in this $23 dish. I was brought more water but the waitress never came back and asked how my meal was. I was starved and rushed so I plowed through this disappointing dish. I drive by this place regularly and since it was a Monday I was denied my usual Charcoal Broiler lunch in FTC as they are closed. People around me were happily eating so I would say just avoid the shrimp cocktail at all cost.
