Our waitress was basically non existent and rude when she chose to show up. The food wasn't worth the trip either.

Not happy with our experience. Came in with some neighbors that had never gone before. I don't think they will be back. The attitude of our waitress was pretty mind blowing. I ordered a Fajita Salad with steak. Our waitress brought me fajitas and then had the nerve to tell me it was what I ordered. Everyone at the table even backed me on what I ordered. There was a language barrier problem. I ordered what I ordered...by no means does the staff need to disagree. Just fix the mistake. I'm surprised we didn't stand and leave. Terrible terrible service. My wife and I just had one of the worst server experiences in our 53 years of marriage. The server brought the tostado my wife ordered and some cheese and sour cream for my fajitas. And then she disappeared, we never saw her again. After more than 10 minutes I asked another server for my beef and shrimp for the fajitas. That came about 5 minutes later but without any tortillas. Had to ask another server for the tortillas and that took another 5 minutes to come, meanwhile my food started to get cold. I have been here a few times. It was not bad but nothing to write home about. I had their enchiladas the first time I went which were awful. Not much flavor at all. Also had one of their margaritas which was not too good either. Way too much tequila. The latest times I have been I had their burritos. They were pretty good. My favorite is the chicken smothered in white sauce. Also my girlfriend got a vegetarian burrito which she said tasted like Chinese cooked vegetables in a burrito. Very odd. I would say this is probably the best sit down Mexican in Windsor but it is no where near as good as the Mexican restaurant it replaced, or anything in Greeley or Loveland. read more

Wow! This place is fantastic! I was delighted to pull up my Yelp app after deciding to go to High Hops and find a high rated Mexican joint right down the road. Boy did it deliver! The chips and salsa served upon arrival were delicious. The tacos were amazing. This along with the quick service, great ambiance and cheap prices make this place top notch in my book. I was up in Windsor for work and Sol De Jalisco was a quick a convenient stop in the area. The menu is huge and the portions even larger. For lunch, I highly recommend ordering a lunch combo. Everyone in my group went with a full menu item and we were stuffed to the point we did not want to work anymore. The chips and salsa is plentiful and delicious. The service was fast and attentive. Even going during the busy lunch hour, we were in and out in about an hours time. Definitely want to go back and try more of the ginormous menu when I am back in Windsor! read more

The food is good/standard here - I loved the salsa, which is a little more unique than the other Mexican places around, although I'm not sure what it is that makes it so yummy! The blackberry margarita was delicious. The decor/ambiance is standard. When we were there, the service was very sub-par. We'll go elsewhere for similar food with much better service. read more

Went with a party of 5. Food come out meal by meal and not as a group. Portions were good size for the value. Problem is my meal never arrived. The others were served and the wait staff never came back to check how the meal was making it easy for the lack thereof to be unnoticed. After about 30 minutes, someone did ask how our meal was. It was at this time I informed them that I'd yet to actually receive my meal. They offered to get it for me (at cost of course) but I declined. Hi. So. Just went to Sol De Jalisco in Windsor for dinner. The saddest thing happen. The waiter totally screwed up the ticket to the tune of $100. We were not aware of this at the time. I assume the ticket was correct. Well. Our friend gives him his card to pay. The waiter comes back and had charged an extra $100 on his card. No explanation. Just puts the receipt down and walks away. Well,of course that's going to be noticed. We all complain. It's not the money, it's the principle of not at least letting us know they screwed up the original bill to the tune of $100. No apologies. My advice to you is to check your ticket twice when visiting this establishment. Or just don't go there. Customer service is a lost art. read more

Definitely the best Mexican place in Windsor! The green chili is homemade daily, and is out of this world amazing. The carne Asada is perfect, and out of the last 10 years and a trip to Mexico, this ranks #1! I'm not big on Mexican usually but the flavor here are always on point, and fresh. The salsa is great, and has cilantro which is an important small detail. I hate jar salsa. The chips are fresh and hot, and they frequently change the oil so no nasty old oil flavor. We went here for a dinner. For starters out waitress was bad, only came to the table twice, and for our drinks she literally walked away before we were done ordering. Horrible Service! A friend and I met for dinner to catch up tonight. We both ordered an entree and she ordered a margarita. Once our food arrived the waitress began asking every two-three minutes If we were ok. After the 5th time, she said there was a line of people waiting outside and motioned to the door. We looked around and see tables being cleaned off, and mind you we were in a two person booth. She had already brought the check and I had already paid and tipped 20%. At this point we had only been there 45-50minutes and still had food on our plates and half a margarita. We began to wrap up our conversation and she had the nerve to come by two more times to ask if everything was ok and the final time she shook her head at us. When we left 10 minutes later, there were several open tables inside and on the patio with no one waiting outside. Food was maybe a 4/10. Definitely don't recommend! read more

Sol De Jalisco has got the best homemade chips and salsa, they need to sell them as a to go item. It's worth the visit just to get them! I'm now hooked on their taco salads, also a homemade shell that is out of this world! My first visit I had the Enchiladas with Green Chili and that was also excellent. Thank you for coming to Windsor, it's been a long time since I've been excited about Mexican food. I went here on a date with my husband ordered fajitas shrimp n steak. Told the waitress that the shrimp were not cleaned they had poop . You are suppose to open the shrimp and clean them . As we were waiting for the manager the waitress came back and apologized for the shrimp n discounted my bill 3 dollar . Wow thanks will never be returning . My only complaint is depending on who your server is, you may or may not get refill on refried bean dip and chips, which are offered complimentary. This always disappoints my kids. Service is absolutely horrible. We had a party of 4 and were sat right away. There were at least 4 different servers that walked by and looked at our table 3 times each and saw we had no drinks. We attempted to politely flag down someone 3 times and were ignored. After speaking with the hostess, our presence was acknowledged and still ignored by the servers. After 30 minutes with an increasingly angry toddler, we left without anyone speaking to us until we were standing up. At that point, we said we were leaving and the server said nothing and walked away. While I acknowledge that the restaurant was busy, It should not have taken 30 minutes to get water or be acknowledged at all. Any one of the workers can make sure guests have a drink. If guests are unhappy and leaving, you should at least apologize. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. There are plenty of better Mexican restaurants in the area to eat at. read more

Best Mexican restaurant I have been to in Colorado. The beer Rita is great and the regular margarita's are some of the best I have ever had. The chips and salsa are great. In fact I would say the best since I moved here from Texas 6 years ago. I had the Burrito Blanco which had a very good cream sauce and the chicken was succulent and had a very good mexican flavor. The type of service here is friendly and attentive, idk where some of the people on here are used to dining, but this place has a great local hometown feel, and the food speaks volumes to why someone should come here.
