First time in this place. I'm one they used as a model for lash lifting. It was a good experience, and I see a little difference between when my eyelashes before and after. I have been going to Soho Lashes for some years and visited both location (Hilltop & Chesapeake-Battlefield). The sites are both sanitary and COVID friendly. Each tech clean before and after each customer which help eases my mind. The prices are worth it and affordable, I recommend signing up for package if you're a consistent returning customer to save a bit on your coin. I love the fact they do their best to make you feel relax and always double check to make sure you're satisfied with the application. I purchased a full set of lash extensions which came out to be around $200, and I'm not happy with the results. In terms of the lash curl and extension, it looks great in the sense that you have extended curls to dramatize your lashes. So it was a good job on that and I was initially pleased. However, I saw the next day that when applying the lashes, Khadine applied several lashes either too far away from the base or too close causing the adhesive to never adhere and fully bond to the lash. For those who are unsure of what I mean, I can see the base of the extension coming off of my natural eyelash (ie: as if you had one natural eyelash and stuck another lash onto it so it clearly looks like two lashes because the base is visible). This happens when the base never fully bonds to the natural lash. Further- I was not pleased with the way that they cleaned the eye area using a rough solution (similar to rubbing alcohol) that dried out the skin and and wiping it in a way that would cause a lot of wrinkles in the future. I never even clean my eye area that way and wouldn't have done that to anybody else. Would have used a softer foam cleanser and a brush to gently clean instead of grabbing a cloth and just wiping outwards under the eye. read more

I'm not sure how to rate this place because I had a bad experience that turn out good so here we go....3.5 stars I initially bought a Groupon deal where you get a full makeup and eyelashes in which, I was going to use it for my big birthday party. It took about 3 days for them to answer the phone to get an appt. apparently they had issues with their phone, etc etc. The lady over the phone was nice and helpful and we finally set a time for my appt which was still 1 month out so I'm ready.. set..to go! I received couple of confirmation emails and a few makeup artist changes, no big deal never been here so I didn't know who was a good artist or not. Friday the day before my party they cancelled my whole appt! They wasn't going to have any artist available so they were going to just close the store for the day. Now what!?! No one couldn't get me in anywhere at the last minute and I'm stuck doing my own makeup. (I hardly wear any so, I can't do makeup like that..hahaha!) The day of my bday party I was getting my hair done couple of doors down from Soho and lo and behold, I see someone coming out of the store..What?!? I thought they were closed? So needless to say, after I finished my hair I went straight to Soho. Furious I explained what happen and they apologized for the confusion. A bride wasn't schedule until 30 mins later, so they went ahead and started my makeup up until she came in BUT the bride never showed up SO, I had my whole makeup and lashes finished just in time for my party!! Yay! This makeup artist saved the day for me!! The experience was very nerve reckoning and a lot of confusion. The artist did my makeup well. They have good products that you can buy so that's a plus. My advise is to have a backup plan and give yourself about 90 mins for them to do the makeup because it does take that long on average to do. They do a lot of promotions and I think that is where the issues lay because of the volume. I'll give this place another try and hopefully will have a better experience. read more

Beautiful store in a nice location. I was impressed when walking in. However, their bathroom was extremely dirty. The toilet was nasty and their trash can was overflowing. It smelled really bad. :( This makes you wonder if the tools they're using on your eyes are sanitary. The girl did a good job on my eyelashes however she didn't have a lot of experience according to her manager and I feel that should be disclosed upfront when booking your appointment. When you're getting your lashes done, it should be a quiet and restful experience however the manager kept talking across the room to my lash tech so my lash tech kept having to yell back to answer her questions (which was right in my ear) so that was super annoying. I personally think it all comes down to management. I definitely won't be returning. The lack of cleanliness really killed it for me. *Ok, I admit I am obsessed with getting lashes- it's the perfect way to feel 'pretty' with no work at all! I am a water girl & have always hated getting 'raccoon eyes' from mascara (including every waterproof one!) that says it won't run, but always does. Soho Lashes provides a 5-star experience- and it starts with Nadia, the receptionist (who is also SO much more!)- she is beyond polite, very professional and explained everything I needed to know (in detail) when I first called. I have had lashes done all over the world and Kadeen at Soho Lashes is AMAAAAAZING! Yes, they may be more expensive than other lash places but you get what you pay for. They give you quality lashes that LAST! Every woman who has had lash extensions done knows how disheartening it is to wake up a day or two later after getting your lashes done & finding them all laying on your pillow.:( You don't have to worry about that here!!! Soho Lashes are applied to individual lashes, all the technicians are very talented and both locations are beautiful, clean & stylish. Very disappointing!! Great special offered, which included a free 2-week refill with purchase of full-set of eyelash extensions. I received my first set at the Hill Top boutique, however they do not have the appointments available to support this special, therefore it goes unused or you pay for the refill. I attempted both locations, nothing!! Unfortunately, I work during the day as most do and was unable to attend the only 11:00 am appointment they had within the time frame. When I spoke with manager about this issue, she was not concerned with the issue and did not present with any type of customer service. I will not continue receiving services at this particular. So, i had an awful lash job done at Anthony Vince Greenbrier. Horrid. Sooooo much glue was used. My eyes were itchy, sticky, and so very heavy. I called SoHo and they got me in same day. Kristi was AWESOME! She explained what to expect, took her time, and i left with all my lashes. Thank you so much, Kristi!!!! This was my first time at Soho lashes and I loved it ! I will definitely be a returning client. I originally went to a random nail salon to get a full set of individual lash extensions done,not knowing it would be a horrible outcome and done incorrectly. I researched places and came across Soho lashes. Upon arrival,everyone who worked there was super friendly and welcoming.The decor ,atmosphere, and music was very modern,appealing, and eclectic. The owner ended up assisting me with the task of completely removing the lash job done prior ay another salon just 4 days ago. When we started she warned me that the lash remover and mixture of the tough glue would occasionally create an uncomfortable burning sensation,but that was the only way it could be done. I trusted her and felt comfortable this company knew what they were doing. After about 30 to 45 minutes the removal was complete!I said the owner saved my life,I felt so much better the horrible lash job was gone and my real lashes were not damaged which was most important. I am really glad and thankful they educated me during this process,took their time,and we're also very personable and comforting during this tough process. When we were done, I headed to checkout planning on getting a new set if the individuals put on. However, this time I wanted to try their mink lashes that you can use up to 25 times. Their selection is amazing and a good variety yo choose from. I chose the girl you crazy brand mink lashes and asked the owner to apply them. Along with that she gave me a makeup application which was flawless! After leaving,I felt like a weight was lifted off of my shoulders and the rest of my day was awesome due to the way they made me feel . LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place and the people who run it! Being a middle aged far-sighted lady, I haven't worn mascara in years - thought it made my face look faded. Their store is next to my hair cuttery, so I went in made an appointment and have been going back ever since! The staff are awesome - and the facilities are spotless. Maintenance of my lashes is very minimal - I brush them daily and every three to four days use the protective coating. I get compliments from strangers all the time. I went in yesterday to just inquire and recon,well unfortunately I was not impressed. The front desk associate couldn't answer most of the questions I posed to her and at one moment I was talking to them turned my back to show them something and they were gone. The majority of lashes for retail were not in stock. Customer service is on the very low end and I've been in the Beauty industry 10+years. Do your homework before making a decision to patronize this buisness. First impressions in buisness can make you or break you, hopefully they will learn. read more
