Got lashes done. She does it out of her home in Landstown area by Walmart. No studio-first impression was false advertisement. I continued scheduling and agreed to go to her house. She seemed really nice but after getting lashes done, they started to fall out quickly-within a week. Attempted to reach out to see if she could add some lashes since it was only one eye-this eye was watery the whole time she was doing the lashes, so I assume the glue didn't hold. No return call back!! She ghosted me. Won't come back again. read more

The best provider! Rickina is so professional, friendly and skilled. I wouldn't go to anyone other than her.

This is totally a hidden gem by the Lynnhaven Mall! Beautifully decorated inside and this may sound weird but the place smelled SO heavenly. I have no idea how it smelled so good... seriously it was like the smell of the best spa you've ever been to plus a bath & body works candle store. I digress... everything inside was spotlessly clean and it seems they really made good use of the space inside. There are private rooms for guests during their visit and upbeat yet relaxing music plays overhead. I got a lash lift - it was my first time ever getting one - and my beauty tech was very friendly and explained everything to me as she was doing it. She really took her time and my lashes came out perfect. Though the services are pricey, they are competitive for this type of beauty services. And actually, the lash lift was on the low end of prices I saw elsewhere when I was looking for a spot to get this done. I will definitely be back, it was a great glam experience! read more

Wonderful results every time! I have been seeing Rickina since last year for keratin lift and tint. She is a very welcoming lady that definitely knows how to fix stubborn eyelashes. Thank you! read more

Rickina is definitely a buisiness woman. She's not someone who has a lash "shop". After she learned about my ordeal, she contacted me and vowed to make it right. AND OMG, DID SHE DO IT!!! I used to get my lashes done faithfully in Maryland's Lash Moi and it has made me very picky about my lash application. I met her the day of my appointment and we discussed what I wanted my lashes to look like and afterwards I told her to go for it! My lashes looked so good, I gave her all the cash I had in my wallet as a tip. ($10) lol. I am definitely a repeat customer because of her technical skills and her business ethic. And also her personality is awesome! Thank you Rickina!!!!! read more

First I want to say, The Lash CEO website is top notch. Very professional, easy to navigate and one of the few businesses in my area that give that feeling that I would be able to trust that the people working there are professional and know what they are doing. As for my experience, Rickina was amazing! So nice and friendly, she worked with me and gave me advice about my brows. I went in for a brow mapping consultation and I ended up doing a lamination. I love my brows now! They have always been a struggle for me my entire adult life and now I'm very confident and and I don't have to fuss over them. Also, at the end I got a cute little goodie bag with a eyelash wand for my brows and a little chapstick. Not only will I be a return customer, but I will suggest this business whenever I can. Thank you! read more

The business is in the Britney Nicole salon. The gps would show the location is near Yama sushi but it isn't. I went in the salon and met Britney and even scheduled an appointment for my hair to get done in a few weeks. Then I waited for Rickina to get done with her client. I went into her cute little boutique, it's as mall room. Basically she works one client at a time. I trusted Rickina to do my lashes. I have really short lashes and I really wanted to get it done instead of messing with the false lashes. She did amazing and she squeezed me in for today since Im celebrating with my hubby our anniversary tomorrow! She was so sweet and careful. I was able to relax and dozed off for a bit. She did amazing and it didn't even take long! So happy with how it looks. Really cute and natural! read more

I had lash extensions done with Mallory for my birthday and the service was honestly spectacular like I loved it a lot. However, there are 3 huge problems I encountered with this place. 1. Trying to talk on the phone with them is such a pain and frankly just does not work, unless THEY are the ones to call you. The automatic voice mail directory they have set up is a just one the most annoying ones I've had to deal with. And even when you think you're finally going to get to talk to someone ("or press 4 and one of us will be with you shortly!"), they won't. It'll ring and no answer, every time. It then tells you to "leave a voicemail with your info and we will call you back". But you won't get a call back. Trust me. Tried that too. Sometimes it's just nice to freaking know that you've been heard, or maybe you have a question and you just need to talk to someone?? 2. Their actual location is NOT the location on GPS. Yeesh. I didn't know I was going to the wrong place until I had "arrived(?¿)" an I was driving around this random shopping center, scouring the place, then parking in frustration only to call them 4 times trying to get ahold of someone for directions-- annnd only for them to NOT pick up the phone as I mentioned before, ofc ‍. So I called them again and I frustratingly had to listen for the actual location thru help of the automatic voice directory, and finally put that into my gps, and then found out I was actually 15 minutes away from what I hoped would be the actual location this time... luckily it was but ‍ Also here are a few other things I'll mention since I'm the type of person who leaves no stone unturned. The boss, Rickanna I think it was? She seems a bit rude, because when I first got there and was feeling disoriented and frustrated, I sort of opened up about how much of a pain it was to get there what with them not answering the phone and their gps on google maps being wrong... well she actually gave me a slight attitude to my surprise Also, it's lowkey extremely expensive, and they charge you a deposit of seventy-five bucks off the bat just to get on their book (in case you no-show them). So yeah just a warning for those who like their money, cause you might wanna save a little extra before you get those extensions or else your bank account is gonna feel it lol. Especially if you're gonna tip a $20 or more, as you should if the service was as good as miss Mallory's Anyway. That's all read more

I went to Rickina for my first pair of lash extensions for an upcoming wedding that I am in. I chose the most dramatic option for the occasion and I was afraid they might look a little flashy but she did a really good job and they came out beautifully. She also gave me directions on care including a small maintenance package. Also, Rickina is a true professional who is punctual, friendly, and her manner immediately set me at ease. She has created a space that is clean, relaxing, comfortable, and modern. I would definitely go back to try some of her other services! read more

Rickina is an artist. Enjoyed my session and I was very comfortable with her expertise. Her salon is beauriful.

I had such a fun experience with Rickina and LOVE the result of my brow lamination. She is so good, it's an amazing process and I loved talking to her. I had thicker brows that didn't need to be filled but they had a mind of their own. They now look very natural and where they should be! I'm super happy. read more

I have been going to Terri for a little over a year and I absolutely love her and her lash work! Services and company are outstanding!

This was my first time getting false lashes. I had been wanting them for about 3 years, but never saved the money. So finally for Xmas, a friend of mine decided to give me the money for lashes as a gift! Anyways, I Googled my ass off and found LASHCEO to be affordable and the reviews looked great. I called initially to book an appointment and got the voicemail of the salon (as expected). IMMEDIATELY the owner called me back and help me set up an appt. I was booked with Terri the following day. Terri was late showing up due to traffic conditions during rush hour. Understandable. When she reached, I was greeted with a smile and then escorted to the room. The room was cozy and simple. I was instructed to lay on my back, in the bed and relax. Terri was very concerned about my comfort and consistently asked if I needed more pillows, stretch... etc. I appreciated that. I was so comfortable, I was knocked out throughout some of the process. Now, on the website, it states $135 for the full set of lashes but it specifies 2 hrs. My lashes took FOUR hours. So as you can probably imagine I was freaking out she was going to tell me double the cost. It wasn't a penny over $135 and she even honored my $15 off coupon I found on Yelp. The only reason Im giving it 4 Stars is because my lashes were falling out pretty much immediately. I didn't even get a full week with them. I did as instructed but I guess they just may not be for me. I think $135 was too expensive for how long they lasted but they were beautiful and I received multiple compliments. If I had the money Id keep up with it, but unfortunately I don't lol. read more

Rickina is great!!! I was skeptical about getting the 3D featherbrow service, but it was well worth it! I just completed my 2nd session (the perfecting session) yesterday morning and I'm in love with my brows. The thought of not having to deal with having to pencil or fill-in my eyebrows is such a relief and will save me so much time everyday! Rickina really took the time to listen to what I was trying to achieve and made sure I was comfortable throughout both sessions! read more

Thank you so much Rickina my eyebrows are as gorgeous as ever!! So I am a first time client and I must say how impressed I am with the microblading work she did on my eyebrows. Hands down, my eyebrows have nevered looked this gorgeous in my life!! I felt very relaxed and the procedure was very comfortable and easy. You relax with a cozy blanket and she does her incredible magic and makes you beautiful!! She also explains the aftercare to you too. She came up with the PERFECT design and arch for my eyebrows. I would have never been able to do this on my own. Thanks so very much Rickina. I came to Rickina to get a "lash lift" aka an eyelash perm. Basically your natural lashes are wrapped around a silicone pad/rod to get the effect of curled lashes without the effort of actually curling them everyday. My lashes are naturally really straight and do not hold a curl well at all, so if I ever tried to pretty em up and use mascara, the effect would be gone in about half an hour. I saw that people on Instagram were getting this done so I did some googlin and found Lashes & A Wink! I booked an appt online which was easy and a confirmation was sent right away as well as a reminder text the day before. I work with eyeballs all day so I am very conscious about what could happen especially since there's adhesive and chemicals involved. However Rickina was very gentle and meticulous and I had no issues whatsoever. It was actually pretty comfortable just laying there with my eyes closed and just chit chatting away. An hour later, my lashes were done and holy hell they were sticking up like I'd never seen before! Rickina told me to keep them somewhat dry for the next 24 hours and afterwards I would enjoy curled lashes for the next month or so. So far, I am LOVING them. They look natural and not all crazy like some lash extensions can look (which looks fine on others, but not really the look I'm going for). It definitely makes a difference when I only have 5 minutes to get ready for work and I can just spend a couple seconds swiping mascara on. Rickina operates Lashes & A Wink inside the Brittany Nicole hair salon, which is to your left once you enter the shopping center off General Booth. Her space is comfortable and CLEAN, which is of utmost importance. She was so friendly and explained everything she was doing as she went which was nice. Definitely going back for a redo when it's time :) read more

REVIEW #2 IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE FIRST, IN THIS SAME REVIEW! **First visit/review is about lashes, second visit/review is microblading!** These ladies saved my lashes! My visit was on 11/14/19 for lash extensions. The owner, Rickina, as well as her staff and business are receiving 5 stars from me because of several things- 1. Professionalism was at its finest, here! 2. Cleanliness and beauty of workspace- their location and their workspace was absolutely gorgeous, clean, professional, and extremely comfortable. I knew I was going to be well taken care of, the second I walked in. 3. HONESTY- I was getting my lashes done ELSEWHERE but I came to these ladies for their second opinion because my original girl elsewhere cancelled on me last minute, which landed up being a blessing. Rickina and Mallory were happy to take a look at my lashes to see what was going on. They took a picture from their point of view, to show me what was going on with my lashes extensions that someone else had done. It was scary looking, and it all made sense why they were falling out and painful! The ladies said it would be healthiest and safest to remove everything and start from scratch, which honestly was no secret after seeing what they looked like. Imagine clumps of glue, and even a clogged hair follicle! So scary. Rickina and Mallory walked me through the very quick removal process and talked with me about options for future lashes. They managed my expectations of what I might see when these were removed. The process was QUICK, PAINLESS, and so so easy. I immediately felt SO much better. I knew it was the right decision and these feelings afterword really solidified that for me. These ladies could have easily just put extensions on, added to the pain and the mess, taken my money, etc, but they didn't, not even close. They chose me, the health of my lashes, fostering the new relationship, and the possibility of a long term client, over a quick buck most other places would've taken. 4.Kind, Caring, Trustworthy- Because of their genuine care for me and my lashes, their honesty, their overall operation, I actually went ahead and asked to place a retaining fee for another future service with The Lash CEO. I never do that with anyone, call it fear of commitment or the fact that I actually fly in from NYC for my beauty services! But I know these ladies are the ones for me, from here on out. In summary, this is an honest business with experts in their field taking care of you, with your best interest at heart. You WILL receive the best of the best! **SECOND VISIT** So, because I had such an amazing experience the first time meeting these ladies, I immediately put a retainer for a next appointment, for microblading when I finally had the time. I barely have ANY eyebrows, and they're blonde! Rickina worked with me so wonderfully, considering I FLY FROM NEW YORK CITY TO SEE HER! I'm a flight attendant and my face is in the public eye, day in and day out, in front of thousands upon thousands of people, and I NEED to have my face on point at all times! Unfortunately I don't always have all of the time to do my makeup like a professional every time. That being said, eyebrows can and do really bring a look together. Well, I came in, knowing a fair amount about what to expect because Rickina nicely outlines everything on her website. She took so much time to discuss with me what I wanted, what I was hoping for, color desire, shape, and even the type of look I was going for. I opted for a darker color than my blonde hair, because that's just the look I love for myself. I also opted for a very natural looking eyebrow, this way when I don't wear makeup, I'll have a fresh, natural, easy look to my face, aka just enough to look like I have some beautifully shaped natural eyebrows. After taking the time to color match, and discuss the shape and look, Rickina "mapped out"/penciled the outline and strokes so I could have a good idea of what it would all look like. I loved my brows then and still do, second microblading coming soon!! *Length is limited* read more

Rickina is so amazing! Having moved from Vegas, it was hard finding a good lash extension place in southeastern Virginia and I had just generally avoided them. I started by getting lash lifts with her and loved those results but decided to try out extensions just for fun. They are so nice! I started with a shorter, less dramatic set and loved them - they really stay put and withstand the humidity well. And they feel so light and comfortable but fluffy, too. Just got a longer set and in love with these too. She has a great scheduling system and is reliable and so professional and just a sweet person to be around. I always fall asleep during my appointments because they are so relaxing. Loyal customer! read more
