She never showed up for my appointment or answered any calls while I waited for 45 minutes. Extremely unhappy.

She was so fake and bashed every skin care facility I told her I experienced. IF YOU WORK, GO TO SCHOOL, or HAVE CHILDREN THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU. She only cares about taking your money. The fact that she has time to respond to every honest negative review in an unprofessional manner says so much!

Some people can't help but tell you how great they are. However, she's also extremely pushy with upselling her products, regardless of whether you already use a high quality, scientifically backed skincare regime. Expect to feel pressured to make frequent return visits. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment for any reason, good luck. There isn't a way to cancel with her appointment service (clicking the link immediately dedicates you to the service) and she charges exorbitant cancellation fees. She will then repeatedly text you to pay her invoice immediately instead of simply thanking you for your patronage and emailing it like a professional would. Don't bother letting her know there's something-- anything-- wrong with the service or access to her business. She clearly knows and uses it as some sort of rationale to go on a tirade. I'm honestly amazed she's able to remain in business this long. Lesson learned.

That's where the folks at Skin Renaissance come in, they are committed to getting you the results that you are looking for and doing everything possible to turn back the inevitable hands on time. I had a tattoo that I wanted to get rid of, it was a remnant of my past that I wanted to erase. Fortunately, GROUPON had a special going on with Skin Renaissance for a tattoo removal treatment that brought me to their door. It was the fantastic staff, great service and affordable prices that have kept me coming back. There are so many services available that I can't list them here but I would absolutely recommend booking an appointment to learn what is available to you, if you're looking to make some positive changes in your appearance.

A friend of mine guided me to Skin Renaissance after she had to deal with my barrage of skin complaints. I'm not getting any younger and being a mom now leaves little time for self care, which is required now more than it used to be. My sweet friend kindly gifted me some credit to use and I stopped in last week. I had initially been considering botox, but thought it best to get an expert's opinion. I made an appointment with their NP, Suzanne. I arrived a little early to check in and complete forms. After completing paperwork, I was invited to get a beverage or snack while I waited. They offer hand sanitizer in many locations and everyone wore a mask through my entire visit. They took me back right at my appointment time - also appreciated. My first stop was the Visia skin analysis room where Suzanne and I chatted about my concerns and skin history - I spent most of my teen years in a tanning bed and have a lengthy history of melanoma and BCC, some of which have been removed from my face. The Visia was insightful and allowed Suzanne to make recommendations based on underlying damage and redness (thanks, genetics!). I learned that botox was the last thing I needed, go figure! She offered some really good recommendations, starting with a compound topical which is already providing results in under a week! She also consulted with Julie, the owner, who made the same recommendations. All together, they spent nearly an hour evaluating and chatting with me - it didn't cost me a dime - but it certainly put me at ease to seek future care with them. I am due to return for a follow up and continue treatment and am super happy to go back. I'm already grateful to Suzanne for helping me to feel better about my skin in such a short period of time.

Stop, this is probably the best customer service I've received in the last 10 years!…read more I found Jodi through a recommendation, needless to say I have since recommended her ten times fold! Jodi, owner of Aesthetics Skin & Acne Care, is an angel. She has saved my young daughter several times. We see her for lip wax, something which is hard to find clean salons that will do it for younger girls (11yr). I tried to help my daughter myself but it wasn't working out so her self esteem was getting worse. When I asked if she'd try someone else she agreed and were both so glad she did. I would not trust anyone else besides Jodi to help my girl. She even says it doesn't hurt when she gets her wax done. My friend also brings her child in for acne treatments and WOW the outcomes are amazing. I also have another friend who now brings in her daughter to do her eyebrows after hearing us rave about Jodi. Jodi is very easy to work with, easy conversations and kind. She is known for her acne treatments for both adult and youth. She waxes most areas just not anything below the bellybutton. She does recommend her building neighbor "Siren Sailor Waxing Service" for those though. Her shop is in a white building on the corner and across the street from Walmart Market on Cedar Road. Next to vision pools and Siren Sailor Waxing salon. Inside is quaint, she has a little area where she works and a small sitting area. It's always clean. She offers an array of merchandise, and we always buy our bushbalms from her. 10/10 recommended

I wasn't in search of a new hairstylist, as I love the one that I have gone to in the past…read more However, my go-to hairstylist is located in Wburg, so it takes a lot more coordination to make the trek to the other side of the water. My hair was so long and I was beyond annoyed with the length and definitely was in search of a new haircut. I asked my sister-in-law who she and my niece went to, and she referred me to Kayla at Sleek Salon & Spa. I submitted my inquiry on their website that night and that's where all the magic began. The inquiry was late, but I got a call from the salon mid-morning the very next day. The person who called me was so nice and answered my preliminary questions. It turned out that Kayla had availability that same day, so I jumped at the chance. - Kayla - My sister-in-law raved about her, so I was expecting no less. Kayla was super friendly when we met and asked what I had in mind. I also asked her the same out of curiosity lol... "as a hairstylist, what are you dying to do to my hair right now?" We came to an agreement (I wasn't feeling drastic this go around), but she did want to bring my hair back to a more healthy look. What I got: a haircut. She actually cut it twice, because the first time, she cut a few inches off, but I was being a little more daring and decided to cut another few inches off. I had so much hair! Due to my Asian heritage and the way Asian hair tends to behave, she suggested and asked that she reverse the process and cut my hair while it was dry, then wash and them blow dry. That was a great suggestion, because there weren't any surprises and it shows that she knows what she is doing! Result: The proof is in the pictures. I'll leave it at that. I must have lost a good 2 lbs just from the cut. It. feels. so. good. I ended up getting the leave-in conditioner that she used on my hair which was $47. A little steep, but it'll probably last me awhile. Things to note: - AVEDA products for sale only, unless AVEDA does not make a certain product. They have a mix of CBD products. - They are open late for working customers which I thought was very nice. I got an appointment at 7pm. - Stylist price varies according to education and experience. Kayla's haircut starts at $60 depending on texture and length, but my hair is in the middle, not thin and not that thick. I was charged $60, which I was so happy about because have you called around for haircuts these days? Kayla can take my money! - you can get $25 credit for referring new customers! The salon was pretty spacious too, and clean. Just a nice vibe. They don't play super loud music and play the chill vibe tunes, staying true to the word "spa" in their name. It's right next to Momo's Kitchen. They seem to cater to all ages too, because there were kids next to me getting their hair done also. Highly recommend, and enjoy, Friends, and never stop exploring!

The search results came up with iBeauty Eyebrows. I tried to call to make an appointment, but no answer. However, a text message immediately followed. Our communication and appointment was done entirely via text and very efficiently too, I must say. She was able to fit me in the next day early in the morning which worked out perfectly for me. She texted early in the morning to confirm my appointment (around 7 am and my appointment was at 8:35 am). Just a note on location, she is located inside Sola Salons which I later discovered is a well know chain of stores that houses a variety of skincare, spa, nail, hair and other self care professionals all under one roof. She is located in suite 23. I showed up 15 minutes early for my appointment and she arrived promptly. I guess I was her first client. There's a little bench outside the suite. Randip is super personable and asked me questions about what I wanted before she began her work. She took pics of my face and studied it for a few minutes before making her recommendations. She also said she would do some threading and leave some room for adjustments if needed. Loved the way she did my eyebrows! She did exactly what she said, she did some and then asked me to assess. Then, I requested a bit more and then she made adjustments. I think this may have been the first time in a very long time, that I did not have to ask to have the remaining little eyebrow hairs to be plucked under the arches. A lot of pros in the past have not threaded close enough and have chopped the hairs a little too short and they've had to pluck what they couldn't thread. Not sure if prices have gone up in the industry, due to the pandemic and other factors, but it was $20 for the service. I have been used to paying anywhere from $13-15, but that was also over a year ago and prices for just about everything has changed. Worth every penny! She operates by appointment only, so just text the number. Stay safe, Friends!
