I love love LOVE this restaurant. I ordered the hibachi filet mignon with fried rice which was in my opinion a 8/10. But when I had the noodles, omg they were so good! The service was quick and the server was really nice. I would recommend this restaurant. read more

Went back and grabbed the Teriyaki vegetables, like it more than the hibachi style. This place is probably a 4 star when you consider where it is but on my overall scale, right around a three. I would stop in if you are looking for vegetarian chow. Crazy busy at lunch, I have been calling in for pickup lately. read more

So I have been here now 3 times.. first time food and everything was amazing. Couldn't believe how cheap it was for the amount food we got. Came back another time and there seemed to be confusion in our order and the lady came out and tried to charge me $1.00 while I was eating. I laughed it off told her it was not a big deal to take the salad back I didn't feel like going through the process of paying a $1 for a salad the kid up front forgot to ring up correctly. So back for a third time this time we opted to make it simple and food was good again as always did seem to be a smaller portion than previous but hey it's tough times I guess. Still very good food and I would recommend this place read more

Love this little restaurant, it's tucked away in a strip plaza here in Calhoun. It offers some simply delicious teriyaki or hibachi lunches and or dinners for a very reasonable price. The portions are huge and filling. I am partial to the teriyaki chicken and rice with steamed veggies. They re allowing indoor dinning or in store pick up. The Decor is simple booths and tables but, you're not there for decorating tips. Food is prepared hot and ready to eat, so no cold meals served here. Good food and you get a lot of it for a great price! The inside is clean and well maintained. Service is usually pretty quick and they're always willing to meet requests to the best of their ability. It was the go-to spot when I was in college because one meal was easily 2-3 portions! It's consistent and always ready quickly. read more

This is a great restraint to go to if you are looking for something delicious, affordable, and fast. I enjoy everything they have to offer from the hibachi steak to the teriyaki salmon. Everything is juicy and perfectly cooked, they also have that amazing yum yum sauce (My mouth is watering just thinking about it). First the good: I really like the fried rice. Large portions. Now the bad: they are SO SLOW. I mean insanely slow. Called a to-go order in at 6:25, said it would be ready in 20-30 mins. 1 hour later I walked out the door. Also, someone needs to teach them how to cook steak. Medium and well done are not the same thing. So basically, if you call in an hour ahead you'll be ok I'm sure. read more

Overall, it's good for the price. Except the 2 girls at the register. They were texting and seemed annoyed when I tried to order. There were 3 tables that needed to be cleaned and they were busy with their phones. 3 stars for that reason. I feel sorry for the owner. read more

Food was good. I ordered Togo with the chicken teriyaki dinner. Food was ready in 20 minutes and sitting on the counter when I arrived. Cashier was younger (teenager aged) and not polite. When I walked in she was watching KUWTK and sweeping the floors. She didn't greet me. And walked from using the broom to get my food. Yuck! The chicken could've used more sauce but it met my craving so I won't complain about that. I just hope the preparer washed her hands! Also while I was still there a kid came in and the cashier was friendly and chatty with him right beside me but wouldn't even say thank you or anything to me. read more

Been a while since I drove up to Calhoun for a lunch. I work in Adairsville and lunch choice is extremely limited here...So, today I took out Hibachi chicken and special hot noodle soup to go. Look at the generous portion they give you. I love their fried rice and they use real Japonica rice and not dry less flavor Asian rice. The sauce is tend to be on the sweeter side, however, it is not overly sweet like some Chinese places around in Calhoun. read more

ordered pad thai noodle - no lime - and dull - very bland not the best pad thai noodle - i recommend OKINAWA JAPANESE restaurant in adairsville , IN FAIRNESS TO THEM I HAVE not tried any thing else on the menu - so i may in the future give them another try because maybe the cook was having an off night - if i keep getting bad food then i know it is just bad - but this one meal did not impress me at all read more

SERVICE IS HORRIBLE! I was the second person to walk in the door. I placed an single order to go. After about 5 minutes a third and fourth person came in and ordered. At 10 minutes after I placed my order another lady and her daughter came in and ordered. Then some minutes later a man and 2 women came in and had a to go order. The 3 people who came in AFTER me got their food. Still I waited. Finally, after 20 minutes I went to cashier and said people who ordered after me already have their food. She went into the kitchen and came out and gave some excuse. I asked for my money back nicely. She refused rudely. I kept saying "May I please have my money back?" And, she would not give it to me. This went on for 5 minutes. She would run back into the kitchen and then come back and try to convince me otherwise. Finally, the guy in the back told her she could refund my money. I walked out 28 minutes after I ordered. Without food. And, I was the second to order. Very poor service and even worse customer service when I asked for my money back. read more

As a Korean, I naturally gravitated toward the Korean side. The selection was limited to about 20 items, but All the dishes were classic Korean comfort food. We ordered 돼지국밥 Dwaeji‑gukbap (Korean pork soup with rice), one of my favorite dishes, and 해물파전 Haemul‑pajeon (seafood and green onion pancake). Before the main dishes arrived, the server brought out the side dishes - and wow. They were exceptional. They looked and tasted like the kind of special banchan your grandmother would prepare just for you. These were not the typical side dishes you find at most Korean restaurants. A few minutes later, our main dishes arrived - and again, wow. The presentation, aroma, and flavor were all impressive. The food tasted authentic, homemade, and prepared with genuine care. The broth was genuinely authentic, rich, and deeply comforting - the kind of flavor you can only experience in a traditional outdoor market back in Korea. The choice of pork cuts was perfect, tender, and full of depth. And from that moment, I was hooked. Since then, whenever I commute between Georgia and Tennessee - whether heading to work or returning home - I make it a point to stop by this restaurant.
