    Sushi rolls - 1
    Gregory B.

Stopped here on the way to Nashville from Florida and got sushi and cocktails. First visit and impressed. NOTE: This review is not about the hibachi grill. Walking in, the ambiance is much like any other sushi/hibachi restaurant. Hostess straight ahead, tables and hibachi to the left and sushi bar to the right. The bar is behind the sushi bar, which is a bit unique. We asked about drinks and the bartender showed us some drinks were on special. I will say this, he poured a mean pour, as my girlfriend was a bit tipsy after this one. The sushi is not the best I have ever had (Takashi in Salt Lake City probably still holds that title), but it was better than most I have had lately. On this occasion I did something I don't normally do and that was stick to rolls instead of doing a combo.

We went tonight for the very first time and it was so worth the money. From the very beginning to the end it was a very pleasant experience and we will return soon .

My husband and I passed this place on our way to an estate sale and noticed the sign for basil fried rice -- figured we'd give it a try. The restaurant was clean and welcoming, and we got a chance to chat with the owner, Marty -- pleasant, friendly, and clearly proud of his food. He even offered us water or lemonade while we waited for our to-go order. The basil fried rice was surprisingly good -- flavorful, fresh, and not greasy. We'll definitely be back to try more of the menu.

I forgot the name of rolls.

Food was good. It wasn't the best sushi I've ever had. But it was pretty good for being in Cartersville. lol. The service was good. The hibachi chef we had didn't do much of a show, but the food tasted good.

This was my first visit. I was recommended by my cousin. She said it was amazing and she did not lie! I'm sold. I will be a regular from here on out! The ambiance is peaceful. The food is just right. My palate is happy. The hostess made me feel welcomed and my server was attentive. Parking is plentiful. I wanted to try a new type of sushi but I'm lactose intolerant and chose the safe option, the good ole California Roll. I'll try something new next time.

Nice spot for sushi and hibachi in Cartersville! Parking was super easy, dedicated lot. The service was great as well, hibachi cooking was entertaining as usual haha The sushi was very fresh and flavorful The hibachi was great! Serving size was huge, tons of veggies which was unexpected and awesome!

I sat and a busy bartender was advised by the hostess I had ordered take out. Bartender asked what name was on the order. A few minutes passed and someone came from the kitchen empty handed and spoke with the bartender. After the bartender finished making and delivering a few drinks they asked if the order was called in or done online. I indicated online and she went to the kitchen and came back empty handed straight to bartending again. No one ever said anything, but it was obvious that they had overlooked the order. And I will say this, they did a good job of recovering because about 10 minutes later everything was packaged and ready for me to carry out. The food was good and I suspect that if you go to eat there, you'll have a good experience. It reminds me of an old time neighborhood bar and steakhouse. Most seemed very comfortable there which would lead me to believe that it is a pretty loyal following of locals who utilize the restaurant. It's a pretty average noise level nothing overpowering. Ribs we ordered were tasty and the salad fresh and crispy. It's a better dine in choice than takeaway option.

From the moment we arrived, the service set the tone for the evening. Our server, Lizzy, was outstanding: attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming. Excellent service like this immediately elevates a dining experience, and she made us feel well taken care of throughout the meal. The highlight of the night was undoubtedly the steak. We shared a massive 50-ounce ribeye, cooked beautifully and bursting with flavor. The meat was exceptionally tender, richly marbled, and perfectly prepared -- easily the kind of steak that justifies a visit on its own. Before the main course, we explored the sushi bar menu and ordered the crispy rice appetizer, which turned out to be one of the most memorable dishes of the evening. Tempura-fried sushi rice topped with spicy tuna, chili garlic, and a soy glaze created an incredible balance of texture and flavor -- crispy, spicy, savory, and slightly sweet all at once. It was a standout and a perfect example of the restaurant's successful fusion approach. The sides were solid complements to the meal. The fries were thick, plump, and pleasantly crunchy, while the sautéed onions were classic steakhouse fare done well. The bread service was another pleasant surprise, featuring soft, tender rolls alongside pão de queijo -- a delightful Brazilian touch that we did not expect but thoroughly enjoyed. For a two-person dinner -- including one appetizer, a large shared steak, two sides, and water (no alcohol or dessert) -- the total came to about $300 including a 20% tip. AG Steakhouse successfully blends classic steakhouse excellence with creative menu options that keep the experience interesting and memorable. We left impressed -- and already planning our return. We'll definitely be back.

So we thought we would treat our son and his wife (new parents of a 2 month old) for a nice dinner out as a family (sans baby). Service was slower than normal, but that wasn't the real issue. Our entrees were delivered before our soup and salads. They offered to take our entrees away and "keep them warm" until after our soup and salads came out. So we agreed. Our son's French onion soup was delivered just luke warm - not even hot. The salads were fine, though. Our daughter-in-law's steak was ordered medium rare, but it came out rare so it had to be sent back. Our son's chicken fingers were also undercooked and had to be sent back, but only after our son had already eaten some of the undercooked chicken. I ordered the signature "Appalachian Grill" dish and the potatoes were burnt. At this point there were so many issues that we asked to talk to the manager and he offered to remove the signature dish from the bill. Our son and his wife were so turned off that they couldn't even eat their "corrected" entrees. The bill came and it was over $150. The only food that we actually ate was the Pickles and Pups appetizer and 3 salads. I asked for the servers and managers names and made it clear that I was going to write a review and that we would not be coming back. After we placed our credit card on the check, the owner came out to our table and began to cuss us out. When I told him I would be writing a reivew, his response was "I am the king of 1 star reviews" and asked us to leave. So we grabbed our credit card and proceeded to leave. After we left the restaurant he approached us at our car and proceeded to threaten us and even called me a "punk ass bitch." I should've called the police becasue we were already outside at our car and it looked like he was going to physically attack us. Our son and his wife were waiting for us outside and witnessed his tirade. Our daughter-in-law was terrified that the ower was going to get physically violent. There was no reason for him to follow us outside and continue to berate us at our vehicle as we were in the process of leaving. Either the owner was intoxicated or he needs to go to anger management. I regret not calling the police.

I ordered a burger with an extra patty. No bun, with cheese, onions and mushrooms as I recall. Here were the two oddities. The meal was served with a single patty and the second patty came out 5 minutes later. Made me think they forgot. Also, the 2 patties were different. One was cooked perfectly and moist. The second was cooked a bit more (but not terribly more) but was dry. The asparagus was fantastic. I do recommend though. Cool spot.

1-Star Review (and that's being generous)…read more My wife and I were visiting home from Arizona and decided to try Ate Track Bar after several locals recommended it. We walked in expecting a fun, nostalgic spot with good food. Instead, we were hit with some of the most bizarre, unprofessional, and politically-charged décor I've ever seen in a business. Right away, we noticed signs pushing extreme right-wing political views plastered around the bar. It was uncomfortable, but we tried to shrug it off and assume maybe it was satire, maybe equal-opportunity joking. Then we saw the signs by the restrooms: "Restrooms - Republicans Only" and "Restrooms - Democrats Only." At that point, we realized this wasn't humor. It was just tacky. In 2025, with the kind of division this country is already dealing with, why would any business choose to alienate customers like this? As a consumer, I don't need - or want - your political views shoved in my face. I came to eat, not join a rally. We immediately decided to leave. Ironically, the hostess told us a table had just opened up, but there was no way we were staying after feeling that uncomfortable and unwelcome. The saddest part? My wife is a well-known influencer who was literally excited to do a fun, positive post about this place. Instead, we walked out offended and disappointed. Why lose customers over politics? Why create an environment where people feel judged or divided before they even sit down? Thankfully, we walked about 100 yards down the street to Table 20, where we were greeted warmly and had one of the most delicious lunches we've had in a long time. Night and day difference. Ate Track Bar might be a "nostalgic" spot for some, but for us, it was a harsh reminder that not every business is interested in welcoming all customers. If you're looking for good food and a place where you don't have to decode someone's political agenda just to eat, keep walking. There are better options right down the street.
