Really like Theresa she does a beautiful hair color and cut. Very professional. Donny cuts my husband's and kids hair and he is doing a great job as well. I like this salon for their professional demeanor and attention to detail. read more

This place doesn't even deserve one star. My 91 year-old mother with ear length hair was charged $400 for some highlights and color. This place is taking advantage of elderly people and is disgusting. Run, don't walk away from this salon and their disgusting business practices. read more

Neringa has been doing my hair for seven years. As long as she keeps doing it, I don't see myself going anywhere else.. thanks for all you do girl!!! read more

I had my hair colored/hi-lighted with Heather. The worst result and most expensive mistake in 25 years of getting my hair hi-lighted. Don't waste your money or time. I am not interested in ever going back there. Lesson learned. All the poor reviews of this salon are hidden, but you can still find them if you dig a little further on Yelp. Don't bother with a response Teresa. read more

Moving to a new place is always challenging and finding someone to color and style your hair is almost at the top of the list! After moving to Ponte Vedra Beach I researched salons in and near the area and based on reviews, selected SoCo. I could not be happier! Donnie is great, and in addition to listening to what I was looking for, made recommendations based on my hair! He's great at communicating the vision for growing out my terrible previous style into one that I love!!! Definitely the best!! read more

Heather was amazing and very informative about any questions you could possibly ask, definitely recommend for any hair type!

I got my hair highlighted a few weeks ago by a new employee. I specifically asked if the new person specialized in or was good with blondes and was assured she was by the receptionist. My hair is naturally light so highlights are not super complicated, really just touching up my roots. 95% of the service I was faced away from the mirror so I just assumed it was being done correctly. I ended up leaving with super chunky highlights and she did not tone it correctly so my hair looks extremely fake, and the highlights themselves look bright yellowish instead of my normal more neutral blond color. She also did not put the foils high enough on my roots so I have visible neutral toned roots with chunky bright yellow highlights-- as terrible as my hair has ever looked. I thought something looked off when it was wet but once it dried, it still looked ridiculous. Had I been somewhere else I would have asked her to fix it, but the process was way longer than it needed to be already, I was not in the mood to be refoiled and color corrected. Overall, a simple cut and a botched highlight cost me around $300 after tip. I will not be returning to that new employee. I have gone to another stylist at soco in the past and she was fine but this past experience has convinced me not to come back period. Had to get it corrected by another stylist and another salon, and he was actually shocked by how shitty the highlights looked. read more

I am not from town and impulsively decided to cut 10 inches off my hair and it was a great experience! Donnie was awesome and super helpful. Would recommend! read more

5 stars all the way! I came to Ponte Vedra on vacation and had a hair appointment scheduled before my trip, unfortunately/fortunately my stylist canceled on me 2 hrs before. I made a desperate call hoping someone could squeeze me in. The stars aligned and Teresa was able to take me same day. She was just what my hair needed! She stays up to date with the latest techniques and Redken products and was able to prescribe me the best solution for my hair needs. I couldn't thank her enough! Thanks for renewing my confidence and refreshing my look! I wish I lived closer! read more

Carrie Cross did an amazing job fixing my hair color. I tried to color my hair at home and it was completely too light and brassy. She toned it and added low lights and it looks great! Prices are fair and the services provided are excellent!! read more

SoCo For Hair - Hair Salons Near Me - Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida

I stumbled upon this salon when I first moved to Ponte Vedra and honestly it will be one of the things I miss the most when I leave! It has a fantastic, friendly environment (vs. the snobby feel of some top salons), and every time I go I'm blown away by the skills of the stylists. I work with Taylor Brass and adore her! She is one of the most talented stylists and colorists I've ever worked with. I honestly plan on flying back into town just to continue to have my hair done by Taylor, she's that good! The prices are very reasonable compared to other top salons and you'd be hard pressed to find better skills and service! read more

SoCo For Hair - Very pretty layers that lay just right, thanks Calysta! - Hair Salons Near Me - Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida

I made an appointment for a color, I was lightening the ends of my hair for a wedding that's coming up. I have really fine hair and I'd been growing it out so most of it was totally uncolored healthy hair past my shoulder blades. I asked for a balyage and showed the lady my picture of what I liked and told her something to that effect but please PLEASE don't damage my hair. I emphasized this over and over. I'd rather have a bit darker than to damage my hair. So she assured me that her clay based bleach is sooo gentle on hair. She foils me up and sticks me under the heater for a long time. She checks and decides it's good to go and when she takes my foils out she realizes my hair is super fried. She sits me in the sink with conditioner for a long time and blow dries and slicks and straightens and it does look very pretty. However, after I get home and shower and use my redken antibreakage shampoo and conditioner and am going through my hair routine, my hair is falling out in clumps basically. And that continued for probably 3 months. Every shower I'm pulling out huge strands of hair, whenever I brush my hair over my shoulder, my shirt is covered in broken off little hairs everywhere. So now my hair is stringy and terribly frizzy and I'm gonna go have 4-5 inches cut off here pretty soon. I was reluctant to write a bad review but I hope I save someone from getting their hair destroyed. *** update *** After posting this review, the owner had reached out in multiple ways and offered to make up for this situation, which I appreciate so much. Unfortunately, I had just had my hair cut off to my shoulders just a day or two before she offered to fix my hair for free. I see that she very much cares about her customers and would go back in the future for a second chance. read more

I just came back from this salon, I love it.. I have lived in Florida for a year , and could not find a salon I liked.. I walked in ( with my hair full of gray) no appointment, I really didn't have many expectations, but Neringa( ?sp) was amazing.. Fabulous cut and color, it was the color that I have been trying to get for years.. The other stylist we're friendly. The owner seems like she is very involved, and advises her Jr. Stylists guiding them and educating them. I have been at other salons were Jr staff, look like lost kittens. The salon is clean and bright. I would definitely recommend this salon to a friend... read more

Simply the best in town. The most professional salon I've ever been to. Teresa the owner has such an incredible, happy staff. Which shows a lot. Excellent experience with stylist Donnie. Stylist is a consummate professional who is uniquely talented in that he is exceptional in both hair coloring and cutting, which is not common for one to be equally proficient in both. (I know, I was trained to be a hairstylist years ago but never went into the field). As a customer, I was listened to; to be understood of what it was I had wanted. The final result out measured the request! We should have that success in our healthcare system! Professional people do not mind paying for service and outcomes. They just require to be heard and experience that they are getting what they are both asking and paying for. I would strongly recommend this salon and will go back. If you are looking for an experience that is demonstrated by a stylist being comfortable in their own skin and owning the results =naturally, this is the spot and stylist for you. The talent he exudes is a distinction that not many can follow. This guy has out mastered unprecedented skill- read more

I was picking up food from Zoe's kitchen and I noticed the salon. Since I just moved to Ponte Vedra Beach after living in Japan for 6 years I was looking for a good salon so I stopped by and I met one of the stylist who has the prettiest hair color and cut. I spoke to her about wanting to get my hair colored. When she realized that my hair can be a challenge since it is curly think long hair that doesn't pick the desired color easily she recommended master colorist Teresa, the owner. I met Teresa who is an excellent listener. I told her about my hair need and I explained to her how high the health standards in Japan and the natural safe products they used on my hair. Teresa took a look at my hair and explained to me her plan to color my hair. I felt she knows what she is talking about and went ahead and made an appointment. On my appointment day I was treated very well. They serve wine, soft drinks, snacks...etc they make sure you are comfortable and enjoying your time at the salon. Teresa did an excellent job coloring my hair and when it came time for a hair cut I wanted just a trim however she suggested a new hair cut and I went for it. She gave me an excellent hair cut. Long layered that made me look much younger. Here is why I recommend Soco specially Teresa: 1. I work late almost everyday and she didn't mind the late appointments I requested. 2. She used a non-ammoniated glaze treatments to naturalize my brassy tones and refreshed my previously colored hair. This glaze she used in the hair color is very conditioning and added shine to my hair. 3. Theresa gave me an amazing hair cut. That is suitable for the shape of my face. She gave me a modern long layered hair cut that I love. 4. As soon as I was done with my hair appointment I spoke to her about a special occasion in September and she quickly worked with her staff to fit me into her busy so I can look my best that day. 3. When I left the salon late since I have a long hair, Teresa's business partner walked me out and waited until I got into my car safely. I thought it was very kind gestures and great customer service. read more

I have been going to this salon for the past year or so. I have one particular stylist that I love to work with Felicia Morel. I just got my hair done yesterday, and when she asked me what i wanted to do. I just said I want something Shocking.. well I have to say she did just that. it is now the next day, and I have been hit on by 5 men so far. She is truly amazing. She is so talented, she has always amazed me, but this hair dew she did was by far one of her best... The color she chose compliments my skin color so well. She can just look at you, and know what would look good on you. Teresa made a good choice hiring her... So if you need a cut, color, or anything hair related.. STOP BY SoCo in Ponte Vedra.. I assure you, you will not regret it... read more

I'm really happy to share a great experience I had getting my hair cut with Joelle. Joelle, my stylist, was outstanding at deciding what colors and lengths would look good for my hair.
