Last few years, I haven't received social security tax forms! I don't think I should have to pay penalty & late fees

Amazing staff & security. Was only there for 30 mins. The wait isn't bad at all, it went by fast calling by your ticket number.

Stopped in Puyallup to grab a coffee on my way from Seattle to Vancouver WA. I was at a large…read moreintersection on 2nd Street making a right into N. Meridian. As I got over to the right lane to make a right hand turn on a yellow light - car next to me went through the yellow light too only he went straight and I turned right. I got a ticket in the mail for running a red light so I go to review my dashcam, go through it and sure enough, I went through two yellow lights, even the ticket shows a yellow lights. BUT, after researching it further, evidently. there was a red light "arrow" over on the sidewalk for this specific lane. 1. I was looking up at the two lights above that were TURNING yellow at the time I made the right hand turn, always look to verify no one was coming from the left or across the way. 2. Why on earth would the light on the sidewalk be red BEFORE the other two lights above? 3. Why would all three lights not be in sync? 4. Why is there no signs alerting drivers to a THIRD light for the right hand lane is on the the SIDEWALK and that you have cameras on that specific lane....seems like a set up. I am 55 years old and have a flawless, and I mean flawless driving record, and I sincerely believe I was innocent as I made a legal right hand turn on a yellow light. It's beyond me, why there is a need to have a third light off to the side on the SIDEWALK that would be red BEFORE the other lights turn red (NOTE: THIS LIGHT is much lower that the other two lights) This was unfair to have to pay $124.00 for taking a right hand turn on a two yellow lights. AGAIN, two out of three lights were yellow. NO REASON FOR THE TURN LANE TO BE RED BEFORE THE OTHER LIGHTS TURNED RED. This was their response...."I agree, the lights for the straight ahead traffic were amber at the time you made your turn, however the light controlling your lane was red. Also, I reviewed many "3 light set-ups" like this in my town of Vancouver WA and they are ALL in sync, I can't find even one sidewalk light that is RED before the other two turn red. Many sidewalk lights or right lane lights are green while the other two are red but never red before the other two turn red. To me...this three light setup is DECEPTIVE and it going to get unsuspecting drivers every time. BUT, this is REVENUE for the City of Puyallup.

It's been a while since I have had to renew my driver's license and as that amount of time has…read morepassed since my last renewal quite a few licensing offices have closed around Tacoma which makes the remaining ones considerably more challenging to navigate. What I mean by this is in reference to this specific location is that parking can be quite a challenge to this small parking lot for the visitor section and a line of people waiting is accumulates extremely fast and as a result the longer the line grows the slower it's going to be. So making an appointment is the way to go here. Definitely plan a considerable amount of time ahead to get to this location in case you make a wrong turn as well as waiting to find a parking place...because you are bound to have to sit in your car until a space opens up...but the best way to avoid all that in addition to the appointment is take the first time slots that are available when you make an appointment online. Depending on the day it's like 9 a.m. or 10 a.m. If you go with the earlier option that's the best because there are already a bunch of people sitting in the lobby ready to start the line. So key things here....1) make an appointment...2) take the earliest time slot (9 a.m. if you can) which will give you a greater likelihood of meeting your appointment and getting your car parked with relative ease. For those who made an appointment the line is much smaller upon opening and if you check in you will get a confirmation number in which it will be called upon. Once you go up to a representative for me at least the process itself was fast. They confirm your residential address, make sure height and weight are accurate, get your picture taken and if need be you take an eye exam...typical stuff as usual with the renewal process there. You get the choice if you want to renew your license for six or eight years. I went with the eight year option as our lives are busy enough and the longer we can have a license and reduce the frequency of the renewal licensing process the better. Once all the usual information and process was done...which was very smooth and efficient it took only about seven minutes for the renewal itself if you don't count the time of waiting for the doors to open to the department (it took an hour from start to finish from leaving home and getting back to home). Another aside at this office is if you are in for a wait and need the restroom you will need a code. Maybe you can get in if someone else enters the code but if not you will need to probably get it from the receptionist.

The Sergeant literally called me with a pre-notion already from the video he watched defending his coworker. All I said was for him to have a little bit more patience and stop being so assertive for nothing considering he's the one that pulled me over and wants to give me a ticket. I don't think you need to rush an individual. The sergeants response was well we have to give citations in a timely manner and all policeman have an assertiveness when they speak.. I doubt I was gonna take up an hour of this guy's time considering he was already sitting across the street just waiting for somebody to make his quota and I'm sorry no not everyone has the same approach with how they speak to someone or else the police force would be worse than it already is in the public's eye. Good luck out there WA people.

Horrible police department that I've been trying to report sexual assaults for over the past year…read moreand have received little to no assistance. Instead, I received mockery, sarcasm, and a jurisdiction excuse for reporting when I have called both the 911 and the non-emergency line even with public business places I know that are within their jurisdiction. You'll be lucky if you can even get them to answer the phone. The couple of times that I did, I had to go through an out of city police department's phone number to have them call Puyallup to then call me. After playing phone tag, I still had to wait about 6 hours before an officer showed up to take a report in which was already way too late and dark outside for me to get back to that location while dealing with multiple attacks of sexual violence. I've even spoken to many officers in-person that I've seen at locations around Puyallup around Meridian Ave. including a Sargeant Melkorz who was less helpful than every other officer that I've spoken to when it comes to answering questions in regards to reporting sexual assault. He along with 19 other officers answered me with more victim blaming statements. The only difference is that Melkorz handed me his card that was stolen out of my phone wallet shortly afterwards when he was standing in front of my church in the evening. There were a couple of officers that I've had success with during a sexual assault nurse examination (S.A.N.E. medical rape test) while in the hospital who had successfully taken down incident details of the cases. While living in my vehicle homeless, I had been harassed and abused in so many ways from this particular police department including stalking. They have been giving me falsified traffic infractions for about over 5 years now while not following the law most of the time including turning on their cameras on their vests. The most recent ticket given to me for no reason while a cop car was following me was from Officer Shaun Nestor. When attempting to report online anything within their jurisdiction, their website leads to a dead end. There is no online form to be submitted for reporting. When going to the page to the "Report a Crime in Progress" webpage, it only mentions to call 911 and not even the non-emergency line. In the "Crime Not in Progress" webpage, there's more details here, but still no option for reporting online even though I had followed a link to another site last week while on this same website. In person, I was given by one of the ladies at the front desk who was very rude to me and wouldn't answer any of my questions and stayed dismissive, a small square sheet of paper that mentioned southsound911.org for reporting due to jurisdiction issues of the home address. But when the address has to deal with a business address within their jurisdiction, the website still leads to errors. I was brought to southsound911.org, but an error message would pop up because Puyallup Police Department is not listed at the bottom While carefully scanning their website, their instructions for reporting led to just calling.

The second time I came with my mom (who was the one being abused) but apparently emergencies only happen between 8am-4pm so they were closed. There were two officers in vehicles parked outside. So I tried to approach them while still leaving distance for their safety. But one showed me a"hold on finger" and the other fully showed me his hand. Like hold on, he was also yelling at someone looked like he was on the phone, just angry. So we patiently waited there for 10-15 min in the February 38 degree weather. But to no help. Protector and serve is NOT what they do. No wonder why people hate cops. They don't even make time for a question. My mom just came out of a DV situation with my father. My mom needs her medication and had nothing with her when she ran away. These people are useless and I guess I just have to figure it out myself.

Hey definitely cover for their own…read more I was stopped for a supposed traffic infraction (which was dropped in court) and since I hadn't done anything wrong I gave the officer what for. He immediately got out of control. His name is Chad Chapman. He pulled me out of my car. Again, I had committed no crime unless the spoken word is now a crime, and he threw me in the back of his car (basically kidnapping me). Oh yeah, not before manhandling me. I asked for his supervisor who eventually showed up. His supervisor whose actual name is Sgt. Sargent, threatened me with arrest if I did not apologize. Basically this took away my first amendment rights. He also did not read me my rights. Therefore my 5th amendment rights were also subverted. This has been psychologically damaging to me and as a women they got away with harassment, assault and kidnapping very easily. I tried reporting to internal affairs and nothing happened. I called again and no callback. I requested the report on this stop and funny how there is no report. I had got my phone out to record this before I was assured and got a little bit of the interaction. I guess I'll have to file a lawsuit when all o was looking for was an apology! Disgraceful!!! Don't trust these people!
