My mom took my son to purchase some futsol shoes and asked if they could be exchanged and the employee told us yes. My son did not wear them outside of the store and they sat in the box until he tried them on for us that evening, in my mom's living room. We felt they were a bit too small and wanted to exchange them for a larger side. My husband went back to the store the next morning and they told us they wouldn't take them back, that they were scuffed and worn. We literally had them in our possession for 24 hours and did not allow my son to wear them, if they were worn, they were sold to us that way. My mom called the store, my husband went back a few hours later to try to reason with them. Nothing. Today we called the manager and he said he wouldn't do anything unless he saw the shoes. We don't live locally and after trying three times to exchange them while we were in Dublin. We have never had any problems exchanging unworn shoes before, this is crazy. I've been to 15-20 soccer shops in my life, and I am basing my rating based off comparing this one with the rest. I am *not* comparing this to general sporting stores. I am definitely a fan. I have been to this store 30+ times. Soccer Pro has a good variety of soccer-related items. They have a great selection for some items but not so great for others. Great Selection - shoes (all types) - team soccer gear Good Selection - keeper equipment - balls - shin guards Fair Selection - coaching equipment - athletic/soccer clothing -- you are better off buying this at a sporting store or other clothing store - soccer odds and ends - referee equipment and clothing The staff is usually young and most of them play or have played soccer, but that's not to say that they are knowledgeable. In fact, there were many instances where they couldn't answer questions. They are helpful, though, and always looking around to see if someone needs help. When it comes to soccer shoes/boots/cleats/turfs, you may find some with good knowledge of shoes and some that are, well, just kids working a summer or part-time job with little information. The management could do better in training them. They have a "turf" area to try your shoes and play with a ball (although small). You won't find the best prices for soccer shoes, here, but Soccer Pro periodically places some shoes on big discounts: 50% or more. read more

THIS PLACE IS GREAT! From the outside, it looks like any other small soccer-geared store but once you step inside, you will be amazed at their selection and range of products. They offer everything from the newest jerseys and cleats that have just arrived (if you're a collector who has to have the newest stuff out) to the reasonably-priced clearance items that you're looking to save money on. I came here to look for a gift for a friend (who's as much of a soccer fanatic as I am) and everything I saw seemed perfect for him. I ended up buying a Germany jacket for $40 when it's priced at $70 everywhere else (Soccer pro had a sale that weekend because it was around Christmas time - how great is that?). I was looking at their other products and they have almost every popular club and country jersey, most brands of performance cleats and plenty of training and track jackets. They also carry Adidas training and goalie pants and lots of soccer balls. They have plenty of staff to help you out and their return policy isn't bad (they said they are especially lenient during the holidays). I'm always looking for deals on soccer clothes and gear since I can't afford them at regular price and this place was a great place to browse. I wouldn't say their prices are dirt cheap, they are actually reasonable, I just like their promotions. So depending on your timing (maybe around the holidays or when a World or Euro Cup is playing), you could walk away with a pretty good deal. I'll continue my hunt for a cheap soccer store but if you're at a loss for a place to start, this store is the one to try! I'll definitely come back here in the future. Soccer pro is my go to place for whenever I need new gear (Cleats, Socks, Shinguards). I always get amazing service and can score deals on older colorways of certain shoes. When they run out of a size they can offer to get them shipped to the store for you and you can try them on then. My oldest son is starting to get into soccer, so naturally we have to purchase all the "gear". Of all the sporting goods store this place is best for soccer. I guess it helps that is what they specialize in, nothing else. We found everything we need right there, while other places only had a few of the items that I was looking for. YES! It is new and improved and I absolutely love going to this place. As a huge soccer fan, its really useful to have a store solely designated to soccer in the area. Soccer Pro pretty much has all you need and the staff is terrific. I was looking for a world cup t-shirt and the store was out of stock. One of employees immediately checked another store, found out that it was available, and had it shipped over to Dublin within the next business day. I got my t-shirt the next day. I've visited Soccer Pro in Dublin about 50 times in 2 or 3 years. They've grown to expand their store and they do have a great selection of gear and pro uniforms, cleats and balls. I'd only say that there are many, many items that you can find at lower prices elsewhere. read more

I have two kids in the Soccer Club, so I went to this store multiple times a year. The experience is generally OK. But what happened recently really pissed me off. We were a bit disappointed to find out only ONE set of uniform left for my kid and the shirt has some stains on it. Therefore, I ask the staff to check if we could get some discount (since no other set is available and those uniforms are not pre-ordered). She went out for manager and came back told us she switched to a new shirt which is leftover from another team. It was the SAME shirt except she removed the stains! (Because the same number is on the back and the other team she referred only use the shirt as training shirt which doesn't have number on the back.) I appreciate she removed the stains but I don't appreciate she lied to me in my face! She should have just told me that she cleaned it up and no need for discount, I would be just fine for it. Lying to customer is categorically awful, which made me doubt the overall credibility of the store. I thanked her and left, thinking of never coming back. I would encourage the club to use elsewhere for uniforms. read more

My son is starting soccer for the first time and I needed to get him new cleats, shin guards, and socks. Soccer pro was recommended by the Castro Valley Soccer Club. The moment I walked we greeted by the women behind the counter with a friendly hello. We went straight to the wall with several options on display of cleats. I know nothing about soccer, I'm a baseball coach. Ryan greeted us and asked few questions about my sons skill level. At first I was shocked at how expensive cleats can be. Ryan took his time and helped find several pairs that were appropriately priced for a first timer. He then walked us over to the shin guards, explained the difference between the different styles. The whole time he engaged my son and I in conversation and advice. The customer service was outstanding! I'm sure I could have spent a little less at a box store, but there no way I would have had the experience I had. I will definitely be give my business to Soccer Pro throughout my sons new found passion. read more

I love Soccer Pro! Great soccer gear, reasonable prices, and offers a ton of variety. It also sells very nice authentic jerseys! Tons of balls, and stylish shoes. The only reason I don't give this place a 5 is specifically because of the customer service. They need to do a better job when there are more people than usual inside the store. Even when the store is almost empty the employees are somewhat awkward and not extremely helpful. I went both Saturday and sunday this past weekend and noticed the same trend. In particular there was a young Hispanic lady working that weekend, who did not seem so nice. I had to go up to her myself to ask for help rather than her offering. She even saw me standing waiting to ask a question and the whole time I was there she gave me sour glances. read more

And if you find a lower price elsewhere, they will give that price plus 10%. They also carry a lot of hard to find items such as Mundial Team shoes. read more

They know stuff very well. The young boy who helped us to find the shoes was so helpful, polite. I wish I know his name. He worked on Sunday morning. The cashier boy was so kind and helpful too. I was surprised at how rudely I was treated at Soccer Pro today. This is our second year with boys in soccer. We purchased uniforms there last year, but I had trouble with the sock size (they were so tight we couldn't get them on). This year I asked to be better able to determine how the socks would fit my son. I was sent to a box of samples in the shoe dept. The owner, I presumed tossed a pair of adult socks at me. I explaind my problem. I was told there are no kids socks to try on and they would not open a pair on the shelf. He ranted to me about how he couldn't have every parent coming in and cutting down the socks. And I couldn't return socks after opening a pair to try on. It became so rediculous just trying to make sure I was buying what I needed that I left without the socks. I found the staff and the owner in particular to be quite defensive the moment I walked in. If given the choice over where to buy our uniforms I would most certainly go somewhere else. read more

Mustang Soccer in Danville has their uniform program through Soccer Pro. Went into the buy the uniform for my daughter. In bold print all over the jersey rack it says "additional sizes in the back, please ask for assistance" as soon as I asked for assistance I was told that is all they are putting out for now and if i don't like whats out i can come back later today or tomorrow. I was told they are extremely busy and do not have time to go in the back for each customer so take whats there or come back another day. Since this is the only shop that carries the Mustang Uniform my hands were tied as I had to purchase the uniform even though I hated given them any business. Extremely Rude and such poor customer service. read more

My rating only applies to a lady who identified herself as Lori. She also claimed she is a manager. She was very rude and disrespectful to customer (me). It is something you don't expect from a store that charges a lot (over $80 for a soccer jersey and shorts for kids). I have to use them because our soccer league requires us to do so. read more
