Another huge benefit of going there is that if you buy skates there you get free sharpening for life. At the typical $5 a sharpening that is quite a benefit. This is a really nice sports complex! Golf, soccer, lax, baseball! It has it all!…read more The bleachers at the baseball fields are really nice with some umbrellas in between for shade or light rain protection. The grass and infield are well taken care of. It's a little tricky to find it...driving through the park and ride lot to find the road to the older kid's baseball field. There's only portable bathrooms. Since it takes forever to get anywhere else since this complex is nestled between historic Fort Snelling and the airport. You could take the light rail to the Fort Snelling stop but you'd have to walk 3-4 blocks to get to the ballfields. The old buildings from the fort are quite photogenic and fun to take pictures of until the game starts. You can hear the roar of the crowd, the roar of interstate traffic, and the roar of the planes overhead! Still a really nice complex to meet all of your sporting needs super close to the cities.

Valley fair is a great place to spend your hot summer days. They have a nice selection of food,…read moredrinks, rides and waterslides to choose from. Security is quick and understanding. My party was being harassed by this group of teenage boys. I didn't even report them to security or an employee but when I got off the ride security was there and asked me questions about them. Some of the employees are really observant and understanding. I never caught his name but this past summer there was a black male who had to be 17-25. He was super hype and fun. He got everyone on the rollercoaster cheering and chanting and had so much energy! Everytime I saw him he was working at the renegade. I loved him so much he deserves a raise for his hard work! On the other hand some of the employees aren't. My friends and I left to eat our late lunch/dinner in my car and we went back in after. There is a new age policy that I like to keep the pre-teens out without parent supervision after a certain point. But because my friends and look young and we forgot about this rule we got asked for our ID. But this man was extremely rude. Raising his voice at us and when one of my friends didn't have his ID on him he got very aggressive with us. I understand the need for our ID but the aggressive nature of this employee was absolutely unnecessary. There are some other employees that have gotten passive aggressive comments and eye rolls.

My children really wanted to go on this ride and now they are having a heat stroke and we have to buy an 8 dollar water. Update: A really nice girl named Nayasa(I think was her name), was extremely nice and helped find cleaning supplies, she also cleaned the puke up, get this girl a raise!! While the other workers on the ride sat there laughed and sipped their water.
