The tickets were purchased online and so we didn't have to wait too long in line but the seating arrangements were a bit confusing and caused delays. It's a very cool experience and I would highly recommend. We got to see America and Hawaii and both were very beautiful!

My husband and I purchased the dual tickets (Hawaii and America). We went back and forth about whether to do both. I'm glad we did! Everyone should do this. I loved the cool air and mist of water at some points. It was fun trying to guess what states we were passing through. The story behind the production of this experience was impressive. The scenery was breathtaking!!!!! We did purchase our tickets online to save a few dollars. It was a quick and easy process; we checked in, watched a short video and was on our way. Overall, great experience and would do it again.

I did the FlyOver experience with my coworkers for our holiday outing and had a good time! The wait to get in was minimal and the waiting area was decorated for the holidays! The experience was geared towards Christmas, with elves popping up throughout the ride. There were "snowballs" thrown at you and the ride ended at the North Pole! The graphics were great and you couldn't see the edge of the screen, making you feel totally immersed. I was told that the experience is the same year after year for the holiday one, and I enjoyed it, but don't feel the need to go again. A great option for tourists or for people looking to kill 20 minutes or so!

Great people, great views, great experience. 5 We had to reschedule and they were really easy to work with. They were fun and safety focused. I would highly recommend.

Please note: This is a simulation ride. Meaning, you will be sprayed with mist, you will experience different smells, and you will be catapulted in your seat with your feet dangling. You will experience flight over landscapes, seascapes, and cityscapes. It is an experience to remember. See the website for additional info. **Purchase 2 flights & save. Online or onsite. **No cameras or videos allowed inside.

Pretty awesome, but if you've done Soarin at Disney you have pretty much done FlyOver America. With that said, I loved Soarin, so I has happy to try FlyOver America! Start to finish, about 10 minutes. Worth $22, you make the call. I did enjoy the "ride" and it very well done. Multiple times I found myself lifting my legs so I didn't hit the objects on the screen! Other effects, like cool mist hitting your face as you "fly" through the clouds was a nice touch. Worth a try, even if you have done Soarin. You will love it if you've never done a ride like this before, and still enjoy it if you have.

This was Such a COOL experience! I went over Christmas break with my husband and four sons. We all loved it! It's a 4D ride that 'flies' you over the US. It's really just a seat that moves a little - wind blows in your face. It's a fun way to see all over America without having to leave Minnesota! We enjoyed our recent ride on Flyover America. We were in town for a conference and made a few visits to the Mall of America. The ride itself is great; the access to it, not so much. We had a coupon for the ride from a coupon book the mall charges $10 for, but currently the ride includes an extension for Canada also, and the coupon isn't good for that, so we only did the U.S. portion of the ride. Like Soarin' at Walt Disney World, you wait in one line first, and then again in a different room divided into lines. There is a display for the second wait with trivia questions. From what I could see, the people who also paid for the Canada portion of the ride didn't have to wait, so if you are in a hurry you can try paying for both. My wife is having issues with a knee, so we weren't impressed when we had to climb stairs to get to the ride. I assume it isn't handicap accessible. They will have you pose at the start and superimpose the picture with the ride so you can buy a few pictures at the end. So the ride itself was great, even though overall it made us appreciate Disney's Soarin.'

If you are in Minneapolis and visiting the Mall of America, you got to be at this place! We have been here twice and this place will never cease to amaze us even if we are going to visit this 10 more times. The check in process is quite simple at the front desk and make sure to look for online discount coupons. The staff direct people well inside the premises and are very helpful. Coming to the experience, it is SURREAL! Nothing like I have ever experienced before. It's a fairly 10 minute simulated flying experience over some of the famous landmarks and landscapes of the USA and ends at outside of the earth. The fantastic background music just ups the entire feel of the whole experience! The best part is the mist u feel on your face as you fly over water bodies and the sweet fragrance as you fly over some prairies. The fighter jets that fly in tandem provide an unbelievable view.

Fly over Hawaii was beautiful! It really did feel like you were there, well worth the money. Fly over America was okay but compared to Hawaii it wasn't GREAT. Overall it was a very good experience.

We ordered our tickets online beforehand and got a 10% discount. The line wasn't too bad to get on the ride, maybe 20 minutes (surprising since the mall was packed). We did the obligatory pre-ride photo with the green screen behind us to view afterwards then boarded the ride. Total ride time was only about 10 min., But we flew over 25 of so areas. Worth the money if you haven't done it before. The water mist and pumped in smells added to the fun. They also have a fly over Canada ride going on now.

I actually like it more than Soarin' at WDW. Longer and more breathtaking!

AXE MASTER The ride…read moreformerly known as Paul Bunyan's Log Chute is charming, unique and LONG! Nickelodeon Universe might have 4 major roller coasters, but I think the overall best ride at Mall of America's indoor park is the simply named Log Chute. This is a log flume made by Hopkins and remains one of the mall's original rides from 1992 that has retained its title (and appearance) despite the rest of the world changing around it.  Even though his name is no longer attached to the ride, you can still find a huge Paul Bunyan statue inside the ride's beautiful mountain façade. Speaking of which, Log Chute has some terrific indoor sections rivaling those of Timber Mountain Log Ride @ Knotts Berry Farm and Splash Mountain(s) @ various Disneyland(s).  Here, the water level is set and carefully monitored to ensure no one gets drenched, because ultimately this ride is still in the center of a shopping mall. Fun fact: this is the longest duration ride in the entire park at a whopping 5-1/2 minutes!  Most of that time is a mixture of thrills and sightseeing, the latter giving you excellent views of Nickelodeon Universe and the surrounding foodcourt.  There's two conveyor belt lifts and two drops, the second of which is 40ft; both are fun. Fiberglass logs seat up to 4 riders in-line and most notably do not have seatbelts or a lap bar.....so hang on and don't stand up.  The final lift has a colorful lightshow and it brings you eye-level with people walking around the mall.  It's awesome to see the reaction of shoppers who don't realize there's a log flume, like, right there. Remember to wave! Keep an eye peeled for a red stadium seat halfway thru the ride; this is in honor of Harmon Killebrew - former Minnesota Twin - who hit a 520ft home run at the old Metropolitan Stadium which used to occupy the land Mall of America now sits on. There's a matching plaque for home plate over by SpongeBob Rock Bottom Plunge, so it makes more sense in context. Log Chute undergoes several seasonal makeovers throughout the year, including Halloween (the "Fog Chute"), Valentine's Day (the "Love Chute"), Christmas (the "Yule Log Chute") and even April Fool's Day (the "Kenny Loggins Chute"). All A+ puns, dad approved. Even the 20ft Paul Bunyan figure gets outfit changes: for Halloween he's been a pirate, Jim Hopper from Stranger Things, Hulk Hogan, and during the holidays, you can find him sporting a Santa hat and singing lumberjack Christmas carols. Festive, ya sure! * TL;DR * Not only is the classic Log Chute the best ride inside Nickelodeon Universe, it's one of the most distinctive water rides in the entire country. Of all the attractions inside MoA, their venerable log flume was without a doubt my favorite.  Not even the forced Nickelodeon rebranding could touch ol' Paul Bunyan - a beloved figure around these parts - and his loggin' chute. He held his (big) axe and stood his ground! Log Chute gives a ton of bang for your buck with detailed dark ride sections, a not-so-hidden easter egg, a great winding layout, a wonderful sense of humor and decent thrills, all done under a giant glass dome.  It's absolutely one of a kind!
