Nickelodeon Universe at the Mall of America is one of our daughter's favorite places to play! We usually visit on weekdays since it's less crowded, making it easier to enjoy the rides without long waits. One of the best deals is Toddler Tuesday, where ride wristbands are just $15.99 + tax for select Junior and Family rides. The wristband is valid for 5 hours, which gives you plenty of time to ride, take breaks, and let your little one burn off some energy. We also love that you can make a full day out of your visit. After the rides, there are plenty of places to shop, grab a bite to eat, or simply explore the rest of the Mall!

Great experience for the Family! Our 2 year old loved it. This was a fun way to escape the cold and also who knew an indoor amusement park would work (beats all the elements!) Plus, if you go for an all-day pass, you could take breaks, go shopping, even go to Minneapolis for a meal and head back for more rides and fun. Lines are manageable, staff is extremely personable and friendly, and some of the rides are quite advanced so do not underestimate this theme park. Very fun and look forward to coming back to try more rides!

So much fun! We went on a Friday afternoon when the schools were still in session so we got on the rides pretty quickly. Loved the cool climate, too!

Nickelodeon Universe (while it's still Camp Snoopy to me) is always a great time! We even got to meet SpongeBob SquarePants today

Right in the middle of the Mall of America you will find the Nickelodeon Universe. The Nickelodeon Universe has a wide array of games and activities for children of all ages. From a rock climbing wall to roller coasters to a virtual travel machine this area has it all. This amusement park is four stories at its highest and the best part is that it is climate controlled, you don't have to worry about a rain out here. There is even an area that can be rented out for children's birthday parties. I highly recommend Nickelodeon Universe!

Below zero weather in Minnesota on a Sunday brings everyone to Nickelodeon Universe! Came here with the fam for my grandson's birthday. Was able to get tix at a reduced rate at the local warehouse store and good thing -it's a bit expensive for an all day ride pass! They do have a bunch of super fun rides-for kids and adults. Lines weren't too bad. The mainstay ride-the Log Chute was fun as always. It's kept nice and clean and rides are safe! Def recommend for a fun indoor time!

It's an amusement park inside a mall! Is it any good? The answer is yes, it is pretty good. No, they don't have any hypers like you'd have at Valleyfair or a Six Flags park, but they do have a good selection of coasters, and not just for kids but for all ages. These include a thrilling Eurofighter SpongeBob SquarePants Rock Bottom Plunge, a spinning coaster Fairly Odd Coaster, a surf coaster Avatar Airbender, Pepsi Orange Streak, and their kids coaster Back at the Barnyard Hayride. Additionally, they also have some pretty good flat rides. They are also supposed to have a pretty good log ride, but we could not experience it because it was closed for all of our visit. Plus, the fact that this is all indoors means they cannot be rained out, which was great considering the day we came on had on and off rain all day. Despite the forecast and the fact that we came on a Sunday, the lines were never long. Also, the mall location means you have plenty of good food options just a short walk and elevator or escalator ride away. Last, but not least, only riders need to pay for a wristband, so if there are some people in your group that don't want to ride, they don't need to pay for admission. So, would I recommend going to Nickelodeon Universe? The answer is wholeheartedly yes. While the coasters may be not be as tall and thrilling compared to what you can ride at Valleyfair because they have to fit indoors, they are still very fun and you will have a good time regardless of the weather.

I miss the old times when this was Camp Snoopy. Nickelodeon universe is cool though. I go here from to time to celebrate birthdays or just a night out for the kids in my family. Every now and then we get good deals or free passes for rides. I haven't gotten on any of the rides in years but always fun to watch the kids enjoy it. During the week it's pretty slow and many of the vendors aren't open but it's almost always busy & chaotic during the weekends or holiday breaks. The gift shops are cool, sometimes they have decent deals going on. There's a spray paint shop inside the park as well, only open on weekends. I got a shirt done for my birthday. Prices were reasonable & they did a good job!

We were visiting from out of town and luckily ended up going on Toddler Tuesday! My daughters in mission for all of her rides ended up being $15.99+ tax, which was a great value! She had an absolute blast on the rides! Most of the staff was pretty nice and cheerful. My only bugaboo was that some of the rides could've used a cleaning with visible dust bunnies and crumbs laying on the surfaces.

Numerous rides for all age groups. Some rides are not big enough for taller adults. Had fun with my grandchildren.

AXE MASTER The ride…read moreformerly known as Paul Bunyan's Log Chute is charming, unique and LONG! Nickelodeon Universe might have 4 major roller coasters, but I think the overall best ride at Mall of America's indoor park is the simply named Log Chute. This is a log flume made by Hopkins and remains one of the mall's original rides from 1992 that has retained its title (and appearance) despite the rest of the world changing around it.  Even though his name is no longer attached to the ride, you can still find a huge Paul Bunyan statue inside the ride's beautiful mountain façade. Speaking of which, Log Chute has some terrific indoor sections rivaling those of Timber Mountain Log Ride @ Knotts Berry Farm and Splash Mountain(s) @ various Disneyland(s).  Here, the water level is set and carefully monitored to ensure no one gets drenched, because ultimately this ride is still in the center of a shopping mall. Fun fact: this is the longest duration ride in the entire park at a whopping 5-1/2 minutes!  Most of that time is a mixture of thrills and sightseeing, the latter giving you excellent views of Nickelodeon Universe and the surrounding foodcourt.  There's two conveyor belt lifts and two drops, the second of which is 40ft; both are fun. Fiberglass logs seat up to 4 riders in-line and most notably do not have seatbelts or a lap bar.....so hang on and don't stand up.  The final lift has a colorful lightshow and it brings you eye-level with people walking around the mall.  It's awesome to see the reaction of shoppers who don't realize there's a log flume, like, right there. Remember to wave! Keep an eye peeled for a red stadium seat halfway thru the ride; this is in honor of Harmon Killebrew - former Minnesota Twin - who hit a 520ft home run at the old Metropolitan Stadium which used to occupy the land Mall of America now sits on. There's a matching plaque for home plate over by SpongeBob Rock Bottom Plunge, so it makes more sense in context. Log Chute undergoes several seasonal makeovers throughout the year, including Halloween (the "Fog Chute"), Valentine's Day (the "Love Chute"), Christmas (the "Yule Log Chute") and even April Fool's Day (the "Kenny Loggins Chute"). All A+ puns, dad approved. Even the 20ft Paul Bunyan figure gets outfit changes: for Halloween he's been a pirate, Jim Hopper from Stranger Things, Hulk Hogan, and during the holidays, you can find him sporting a Santa hat and singing lumberjack Christmas carols. Festive, ya sure! * TL;DR * Not only is the classic Log Chute the best ride inside Nickelodeon Universe, it's one of the most distinctive water rides in the entire country. Of all the attractions inside MoA, their venerable log flume was without a doubt my favorite.  Not even the forced Nickelodeon rebranding could touch ol' Paul Bunyan - a beloved figure around these parts - and his loggin' chute. He held his (big) axe and stood his ground! Log Chute gives a ton of bang for your buck with detailed dark ride sections, a not-so-hidden easter egg, a great winding layout, a wonderful sense of humor and decent thrills, all done under a giant glass dome.  It's absolutely one of a kind!
