I hate going to the Dentist!!! But I love this Dentist!! First of all THANK GOD FOR A FEMALE DENTIST... she was so gentle with numbing my cheek and the injection to get my filling done. She really takes her time and it shows how much she cares for her patients. It's okay to be scared but trust me!! This is the dentist that you would want while being scared lol. She is patient, understanding and super sweet. I wish her all the best in her practice because we need more people like her in the field. The office is clean and modern. Happy to see a new practice doing it right! A cracked tooth forced an unwanted visit to the dentist and I thought to give a new comer a look. What a great decision it turned out to be! I submitted an online request for appointment and was called back the following day. The appt was made and all necessary intake/new patient forms were done electronically. Efficient and environmentally conscious. The office is easy to get to and there is ample parking. The office is clean and comfortable, as was the exam room. There are TVs on the ceiling! The X-rays, the exam and the subsequent treatments were all done with care and attention to my needs. I felt at ease the entire time and was made aware of every step. I've routinely went to random dentists throughout my life, and always felt anxious or afraid whenever my visits came up. Visited SoCal Tooth Co and had work done by Dr. B. She and her staff were amazingly professional. They were gentle on my teeth, walked me through everything they were going to do, and reassured me as they were cleaning my janky teeth. The space was nice and clean (unlike the eerie and semi-creepy places I've been before) and had an overall great experience. Highly recommend! I noticed the billboards as I was driving in the area. It caught my attention, especially because they're promoting free teeth whitening and also because I haven't been to the dentist due to the pandemic. I came in for a cleaning and wow! Definitely the nicest and cleanest dental office I've ever been to - with TVs on the ceiling to watch during cleanings and new equipment. The staff and Dr are so friendly! The Dr took her time and explained every procedure she was doing so I was never caught off guard. She also pointed out and explained any areas of concern and gave me advice on how I can maintain my oral health better. I don't like to give negative reviews but, I need to express the experience I had at this office. I'm very saddened by my experience. I had high hopes for my appointment and the office personnel and was looking forward to be a returning patient and referring many colleagues and others to this dentist. I am a person that has anxiety regarding cross contamination and sterilization and l like gloves changed between touching other things like the x-ray vest and touching my mouth. I like floss and gauze placed on the tray in front of me. I don't feel comfortable with the gauze and floss presenting on the tray before I get there because I have no idea if the assistant grabbed these items without gloves or not. I first went into this office a few months back to speak to the receptionist and possibly take a look around to see if this dental office would be a good fit. I briefly spoke to the dentist who seemed very nice but, because she was busy with a patient and briefly walking by, I couldn't really have a conversation with her. So I left that day with an appointment. I spoke to the receptionist a few days before the appointment in which I was informed that it is mandatory to have a whole set of x-rays (18) to be seen by the dentist. My usual dentist took 18 X-rays approximately 3 years ago and 6 X-rays approximately 9 months ago. I had emailed the 6 X-rays to the dentist's office since those were the most recent. Although, I felt it was a bit excessive to take more X-rays I asked if they could subtract the 6 X-rays from the 18 that needed to be taken. I was told it couldn't. I obliged because I felt like I wouldn't be seen if I didn't agree. So I paid 100 dollars since my insurance wouldn't cover another full mouth of x-rays under 5 years. When I was brought in the exam room by the assistant, I told her that I have anxiety over the floss and gauze being place out and asked her politely if she could change it in front of me. She went out of the room and immediately reported to the dentist what I asked. The dentist came in there very rude and said "when you ask the assistant to throw away the floss and gauze that is new and ask her to change it, I'm a small business and have only been open for two years and this might not be a good fit for you!" I advised her that I have anxiety over cross contamination and it helps me to have things opened and placed on the tray in front of me. She said "what other questions do you have!" I asked her additional questions about sterilization of other items but, I felt like she was upset. Her approach made me cry and she gave me a paper towel to wipe my tears. She answered the questions and she left and the assistant came in to take X-rays. The assistant didn't wash her hands before putting on the gloves, only put hand sanitizer on and struggled to put the gloves on because the gloves looked small. When I threw away the paper towel, the trash was filled to the max. I had the first appointment of the day. The wall was scuffed. So the assistant finally gets the gloves on and grabs the x-ray vest and puts it on me. The x-ray vest has a thin black mesh material surrounding. How do you sterilize mesh? I asked the dental assistant if she could please change her gloves after touching the x-ray vest. The assistant left the room and told the dentist that I asked her to change her gloves. Once again the dentist came in there and questioned me "I told you that it is all sterilized and the vest is sterilized three times!" I told her that I feel comfortable if the assistant changes her gloves after touching the x-ray vest and before touching my mouth." The dentist walked out and the receptionist came in to tell me everything was sterilized and they go above and beyond other dental practices. I felt like I was a student in detention, the dentist was the principal and the assistant was the teacher. I said "it's better I just leave, it's not a good fit for me." I got up, walked out and the receptionist advised me that my payment would reverse in which it did. As I started to think about it as a struggling new dental office, I couldn't help but, wonder what other ways the office cuts corners since simply changing gloves is such a problem. It's a dentist office. Your in an atmosphere where you should change gloves excessively. Over a pair of gloves? I still can't believe it. My current dentist and her assistants change their gloves excessively. Patients are what makes a dental office succeed. I know hundreds of people that could have been potential patients with top notch dental insurance, but the office lost the potential business over a pair of gloves? 400 pairs of gloves are 19.99 at Costco. Sadly, this office doesn't understand various walks of life and that everyone is not the same. I honestly don't think I asked for too much. Geez, she could have even charged me for the gauze, floss and gloves and I would have gladly paid with my card. read more

FINALLY! A good, honest dentist. Dr. B is the best. Before starting her evaluation of my teeth, she and her staff took the time to review the previous charges and notes on my insurance. It turns out that my previous dentist had charged me for silver fillings (I don't have any silver in my mouth!), when I should have just been charged for a protective sealant. I'm so grateful that this dentist and her staff took the time to let me know EXACTLY what they would be charging and the work they would be doing. I will definitely be going back to SoCal Tooth Co. since I know that the facilities are clean, my dental work was thorough, and Dr. B and her staff are honest and fair. read more

From setting appointments, tooth extractions, cavity fillings and first dental exam for my little guy! We relocated from Orange County and I was apprehensive when looking for a new Dentist. I knew after my first visit Dr. Estella and her staff were absolute gems. Her office is beautiful with new equipment, mounted TVs and a peaceful ambiance.
