She gave us samples of the different peanut butters. The "selfie" peanut butter absolutely amazing! It tasted like Cinnamon Toast Crunch and had very little sugar in it. It was pricy at $9.00 but worth it. I had the original Açaí bowl which was delicious! I love how they blend the açaí with frozen bananas and strawberries. They also added a ton of fruit to the top. My fiancé got the Green smoothie bowl which to me tasted like grass, but she loved it, that's all that matters. So... a bit pricey. 2 smoothie bowls cost about $20.00. Sobol Ridgefield is THE BEST! The staff is amazing, and yes, they know me by name (no shame!). I take full advantage of their loyalty program...thankfully they have one I've always had my go-to bowl, but after trying the green bowl recently, I'm officially torn because I'm obsessed with both. Everything is fresh, healthy, and so good, especially this time of year! And I've now made the switch from the Starbucks egg bites to Sobol's egg bites, they're lighter, taste more homemade, and have fewer calories than Starbucks. they keep adding really great new options! Right off the bat it was disappointing to see only 4 bowl options & furthermore it is ridiculous that you cannot swap out a fruit for a different one. I am sensitive to pineapple so I asked the girl at the counter if I could swap it for strawberries. She informed me that it would be $1.50 extra, because they do not do substitutions. I did not want to air out my annoyance on her because obviously it wasn't her fault & she was just doing her job. I find their lack of options & flexibility to be ridiculous & a complete money-grab. I'm not usually a fan of açaí bowls but was in the area so I thought I'd give it a try. Well I'm obsessed and every time I come around I have to get my açaí bowl from here! The fruit is incredibly fresh every time and I love that everything is dairy free (dairy allergy here). I always order through DoorDash and one time I accidentally added whey protein to my order and a girl from Sobol called me to double check my order. Had she not done that I would have gotten sick because of my mistake. I will say that the food is pricey but those bowls are meant to be a meal. They have the calories and nutrients of a meal and they are very filling. I usually get one for lunch and don't feel hungry again until dinner so they are well worth it in my opinion. read more

I have so much to speak of about this fine establishment. It is truly one of my favorite places to eat in all of Ridgefield. I received a recommendation to eat here from my dear friend Dietz, and I have been a regular ever since. The Açaí Bowls are scrupulously nutritious and always soothe my sweet tooth. The bananas are suspiciously tasty but time after time I come back for more. The workers are experts at their occupation and always are friendly to the customers. I do suffer from a nut allergy, but I am grateful that the employees are always happy to accommodate to my dining preferences. Whoever the manager must be proud of organizing such a enjoyable place to dine. I always enjoy stopping by during my lunch break as completing tasks at my electrical department is always stressful. I am from Long Island and I eat at a SoBol probably 4 times a week so I love to see that they have expended off of Long Island so I can grab a tasty Acai Bowl when I am traveling! Stopped by here out of curiosity - there's a lot of these type of places opening up (which is nice to see somewhat healthier options). The pitaya smoothie was delicious! Consistency was thick but super flavourful. Downsides: 1. All plastic. I'm sure plastic is cheaper and easier but it would be nice if they could look into more eco-friendly options. 2. A bit disturbed by having a customer actually walk behind the counter and actually prepare his own bowl. Seemed as if he were a relative to the owner of some sort and having gloves on but no hair net covering his head is a bit disappointing. He and his friend only paid approx $9.00 per bowl, for a large Açaí bowl with lots of toppings and over loaded with ingredients. Sucks that we the regular customers must pay over $9.00 for a regular bowl with only 1 extra topping. Or over $7.00 for a kids bowl with only 1 extra topping. It's a smack in we the paying customer to have experience this type of SPECIAL TREATMENT. This should not be allowed at all. This should be brought up to corporate, let's see what they will say.
