Wood paneling, old hard chairs and a tiny dining room with a small counter with barstools. Met a coworker here for breakfast before work, and we had a nice breakfast. Did the classic two eggs over way, rye toast, bacon and home fries. All of it was perfectly done diner style. On the way out we threw in a couple half dozen donuts.. all of which were delicious yet light yeast donuts that tasted like they were made fresh daily. While we were eating breakfast there was a constant separate line out the door for the donut counter. I'd eat here more if I lived in the area. Nice job team Speedy! I let them know and asked for just regular Eggs Benedict. She asked if I wanted Canadian Bacon and I asked for other options, and decided on regular bacon. I waited a little bit and they brought it out with Canadian Bacon, not regular bacon, I was about to just take it off and eat it but the girl realized her mistake and said she would fix it. By the time they brought out the "third" version we barely had any time left. It comes time to pay and the bill has Crab Cakes Benedict $20. I mentioned it to the server because what I ate was cheaper and she said "the kitchen told me to charge you that." Excuse me?! You mean the fishy, old crabcakes that could have gotten me sick? Not to mention the inconvenience of waiting. I honestly couldn't believe the audacity. Also, SHAME ON THEM for trying to get away with that--what about someone else that doesn't notice or just acquiesces to not be a bother. Also, two weeks prior when we went, we were about 50% done with our meal and my young daughter suddenly had to use the restroom--I left my keys on the table and smiled at the servers on our way to the bathroom. I come back and our food was thrown out and my keys were at the hostess stand. Really?? They offered to remake the food after the fact but I had to get my daughter to school and we didn't have time. In your reply to my review, your accusation that I'm "trying to hurt a small business" is an interesting, if not telling choice of language and one that's quite incendiary. I posted my review on Google & Yelp, the two places that I use for reference. It's curious that you view this as an attempt to essentially dismantle your business. Review systems were put in place so that people can share their experiences and that is exactly what I have done.

However, this was the Korean variation (Bingsu), and it was huge, good for 3 or 4 people. There was a lot of ice cream, very finely shaved ice, jelly bits, red beans, crushed oreos, and I'm not sure what else, but again, more ice cream than ice. At this price point, I don't think I'll try the Bingsu again, and I can't say I'm excited about the other menu items, but you never know, I may give it another shot and try other breakfast items. It's not fair to judge an eatery based on 1 item, but looking at the ambiance and service also, for now I'll throw out a rating of 3 1/2 stars. Add another 1/2 star if you love waffles.

However, this place is sneaky about prices. Firstly, They do not list prices on the menu, and after seeing my receipt, I understand why. If you want to add mixed berries to your waffle, they charge you $1.75 per type of berry. I ordered a black tea with a splash of milk, and they charged me the price of a tea latte. They also refuse to give tap water, and make you pay for bottled water- a practice that rubs me the wrong way. It cost nearly $50 for two people to eat breakfast here. Overall, the place isn't terrible, but is not transparent with prices.
