In a newer shopping center. I usually frequent the Babylon location closer to me but I was out East with my sister and my niece. So clean and fun. They have a blackboard to write messages which the kiddos loved while waiting for their bowls! Got my usual gluten free bowl and as always it was delicious. I love SoBol, I feel full-refreshed and healthy when I leave. Might be a placebo effect but I get energized after eating here. Soooo good. read more

I love the açaí bowls here. I really do. What I don't love is two employees with their masks hanging loose down under their noses as they make my food during a pandemic. This is a potential health hazard and it's basic in its understanding. Please get your staff masked up properly and staying that way. I'd feel safer rather than worrying that someone asymptomatic with COVID is breathing all over my food. I'll wait the pandemic out before I return here. read more

This is a great location, I am there often 3 or more times a week and I have never experienced any "watery"Acai? Perhaps people are leaving them out at room temperature for a 1/2 hour or so before eating. Everybody I have ever dealt with in this location has been super pleasant and accommodating. As far as pricing is concerned, healthy foods like Acai and such are pricey but their prices are on par with everyone else selling such products. I was so excited when I asked if I could order my açaí bowl without bananas and coconut and was asked "is that an allergy or a preferences?" I felt secure that I wouldn't have to worry about cross contamination. However, after waiting 10 minutes, the young lady brought me the bowl covered in coconut so I kindly asked if she could please redo without it. After waiting again, she brought it back with coconut again, placed it down and then realized she forgot again and apologized. Unfortunately I didn't have another 10 minutes to wait so I asked for a refund and was told they'd have to call the manager. I didn't have any more time to waste so had to leave without a refund or a bowl. I'm very disappointed in such awful service. read more

Beware if you have allergies! For example there is strawberry in the pitaya mixture but it isn't listen on any of the menus. We asked the cashier and she said no strawberry but someone else said yes, it was mixed in. They can make it without but if it isn't listed on the menu that it is blended into the pitaya how is someone supposed to know? Who knows what other potential missing allergens there are that are unaccounted for in menu labeling. Kombucha was tasty. read more

Was so excited to see a SoBol out east. I love the one in Long Beach. I went in on 3/9 and had a bizarre experience. I was the only customer and the girls behind the counter kept joking around, so it was difficult to order/ask questions. I ordered a regular SoBol and added vanilla vegan protein powder. I figured I had a few minutes, so I ran to the bathroom. When I got out I told the person who took my order that the toilet didn't flush, and she answered me with "yea, it doesn't." Well, okay. I then proceeded to wait even longer than when I went to use the ladies room for my bowl- only one in there for a while with three people behind the counter. Bowl came out, beautiful- A+ for presentation. Got to my car, dug in and it was gross. It tasted like they used a chocolate protein powder, which could have happened, so I ran back in to see if it was an accident. The girls either didn't believe me or care- one stated she was a vegan and that is just how it tastes. I think they put TOO much protein powder in, it tasted like chocolate chalk. Regardless their bored with the customer attitudes came through loud and clear. I asked for a lid so I could give it to my mom, who also thought it was gross. $12 for a gross bowl. read more

Amazing Acai bowls but I wish they would stay open later. I try to get here after work, and even when I arrive around 7:40p-7:50p the doors are always locked. It is frustrating consider they close at 8p. Very inconvienet when you are traveling to make it there on time and they aren't open. read more

I come into this location 2-4 times a month to pick up bowls for my adult son. He loves them and they look great. Unfortunately I had a VERY RUDE counter person help me today. When I walked in to pick up his online order the server was in back. A young couple walked in behind me. I waited at the front counter for "online" pickup and the couple went to the back order area. When the server came up front she immediately started helping the couple who came in after me. I politely said "I'm sorry but I was here first." The server (young ,brunette, heavy set girl with glasses) said "they're picking up an online order." I replied "so am I." The server prompted me to get behind the couple at the back area. That's when I held up the sign in front of me that said "online pickup area." The server rolled her eyes, sucked in her teeth and asked for my name which i gave to her. She handed me the bag abruptly as if I was inconveniencing her. No..thank you, no..have a nice day, no..I'm sorry but I didn't realize you were here first...nothing! I pick up at least $50-$60 worth of bowls every other week and I really don't appreciate the "snotty" attitude I got today for simply stating I was at the store first. Some people should not be in customer service and I feel this server needs to be re-educated on polite customer service and first come first serve policy. I never have a problem waiting my turn behind other customers and I don't appreciate feeling as if I did something wrong by politely stating I arrived to the store before the other customer. I would hate to stop coming here and I hope the customer service improves. I have never experienced this type of attitude before at this location as all the other servers have been wonderful!! read more

I don't frequent SoBol often but when I do go it's usually the Patchogue location, of which I absolutely love. Yesterday, (Saturday) at around 2:00pm I walked into this location for the very first time. The older woman with the ski cap on was at the register and was just plain rude. The receipt said her name was Amie anyway as I approached the counter to order she just stared at me for a few moments and didn't even welcome me. Maybe she was having a bad day but either way I didn't feel welcomed at all. When I placed my order I ordered a soup as well as an Acai bowl and when it came to the sizes she just pointed to the wall that had the bowls. The whole transaction was completely uncomfortable. There is no need to be rude to customers and make them feel like its a nuisance coming into this location. Also, the soup is nothing like the picture. I paid six bucks for just chicken broth with no chicken or vegetables in it. I definitely will not be coming back to this location.... read more
