Hey that's good! Wanted to get my sweet treat on but really didn't want ice cream, and decided go with this. What a great idea! Delicious and fun. Fruit was fresh, ripe, and mixed nicely with the rest of the toppings. You can go bowl or smoothie, either or can't go wrong. I think this might be a better option for the kids as well vs going to an ice cream place. Inside looked clean, organized, and staff was quick to get your order in. I'd watch the sugar though, they add up quick ! Other than that, nice treat! read more

I went to the store my self and I ordered two mango Asai and I specifically said no pineapple because I'm allergic and I trusted them that they didn't add pineapple but when I got home and I was bout to enjoyed i noticed that there was pineapple. Really happy this place opened up near my house. I come pretty often to get an Acai bowl for work the next day. I've recently tried their smoothies and really enjoy those as well. Although they are pricey I think it's worth it. The interior is very homey and they have been doing their best to enforce social distancing within the store. read more

Like all other businesses charging more and serving less ! I remember sol bowl was loaded with fruit now ur lucky if u get 5 pieces of strawberry's that are tiny and a few pieces of banana on there classic açaí bowls. Bango bowls around the corner is going to crush them if they don't bring there quality back ! read more

First time here at this location after attending a fantastic Yelp Event at the Ronkonkoma store. Angelina , the owner of both shops gifted us with certificates of which I used today . Thank you again ! There is plenty of parking available here . I liked that the space is large and bright with a sizable counter area and there are games to play too! The store is spotlessly clean ! The girl at the counter was extremely pleasant, professional with topnotch and quick service ! I brought a friend with me and we both enjoyed a Waffle with Acai and fruit . I opted for no bananas and my friend had hers with Nutella .They were sweet and crisp, served in a cute box ,smothered in fruit and Açaí.! So satisfying and filling !! I also indulged in a White Chocolate Mocha coffee! Bold and delicious. I have to remember for the next time to stir it as all the sweet goodness was on the bottom of the cup ! SoBol has been my go-to sweet treat for a few years now but this particular location is the reason for my review. Not only are they ALWAYS squeaky clean, an extra important requirement right now because ... COVID, but they are also so incredibly friendly, patient, and courteous. With an extensive menu, it can sometimes be a while before I know exactlyyyyy what my tastebuds want. Nonetheless, the staff is always willing to provide suggestions and samples. Today was my second visit for the week because Allie, one of the employees, was kind enough to invite me back for their Frontline Friday's promotion where those on the frontline can receive a complimentary kids bowl. I expressed that I wish teachers were on the list of those recognized for the promotion and she was kind enough to extend the offer to me. read more

Enjoyed my visit. The place was quiet (Nor'easter was blowing outside), so not much of a wait. The atmosphere was fresh, crisp and clean, unisex bathroom included. High top tables in that community seating kind of way- so if it's crowded expect to share. The staff was attentive and helpful. My aciai bowl was full of yummy goodness and I couldn't be happier. I did purchase a coffee that was being held in a carafe, so when I went to drink it the temperature was tepid and I was looking for hot on that blustery day. I asked if they wouldn't mind putting it in the microwave for 30sec but they didn't have one. Instead they made a nice fresh hot pot for me! It's a new business and the ladies are holding their own! It's located on the corner of RT 111 right by the HS, so I'm sure it gets crowded when schools in session during lunchtime and afterwards. Don't let that stop you. If you want a fruity açaí bowl come here. I recommend getting a sunshine or a spirulina because they both are so good and it has a lot of good fruit in it. But it can be a little overpriced only if you want extra toppings and if you get the big ones. Come here and you will be wanting more than one! read more

Been a loyal weekly customer for over 2 years as I work nearby. I had to be in and out after picking up my to-go order which was a regular acai bowl. After I get back to work, which is a 2 minute drive, I open up my acai bowl for lunch and the acai was watered down and very liquidy/melted. So I threw it out and went back after my shift was over (a little over an hour went by). I asked for a new one and the worker told me she can't do it bc she needs to "see the melted acai bowl" ... I can't be driving around in my car with a fully melted acai bowl that's gonna spill because it's liquid all over my car. Not offering me a new one or atleast a refund is unethical. Bc I did not get what I paid for. And the lady behind the counter telling me she can't give me a new one bc she needs to see the bowl is her pretty much telling me that I'm lying about the bowl being melted just to get a free bowl... That's just a rude thing to assume about a loyal weekly customer of 2 years. She really made me feel like I'm some starving hobo looking to score a free acai bowl. Super disappointed with this location. About a month ago I went in to do school when my home was out of power. The girls in there are so snooty I felt like I was back in a highschool. When I refused to go back in My sister went in yesterday and ordered two regular sized bowls with a couple of additives (pineapple cookie butter Nutella nothing crazy). They barely filled up the bowl. If I wanted this little I would have ordered a kiddie. There's barely any açaí in my bowl and they didn't put any honey and completely forgot the banana. I'm typically not the type of person to write a bad review (I work in the restaurant business and know how detrimental it could be). They should really look into hiring girls with a nicer attitude. Super disappointed. I wish I had gone to a different location. Hauppauge is a disaster. read more

I travel to Hauppauge often for my daughter's dance competitions, and the girls are always looking for a light fast healthy option of food to eat before they go on stage and dance. Quality FAST service. The staff is super friendly and the bowls and smoothies are always so fresh and consistent. They do a ton of fundraisers for the local sports teams and I love that! I always find myself stopping in when I'm driving through Hauppauge. read more

The kids that work there are so rude. Do yourself a favor and go to one of the many other SoBols and spare yourself some unnecessary attitude. They also charge extra to REPLACE toppings (not add on), the SoBol I usually go to doesn't do that. 70 cents for 6 blueberries! Unbelievable. read more

I went into the Hauppauge location for the first time this morning, leaving there super excited to get home n try their açaí bowl. As I opened it, I realized that it WAS NOT freshly made and that it was frozen. I then called to ask if the bowls were ever freshly made. Not to get my money back or speak to a manager or anything like that. Just to see if I could get a fresh one next time. The girl flat out lies to me n said that the one I received was certainly made fresh n basically insulting my intelligence. Like I don't know what frozen fruit feels like. The Açai Bowls are awesome here! Their granola is great and their peanut butter is to die for (+ it's locally made!) The store looks clean and my bowls are always fresh and delicious. I don't mind the price, average walk away price is about $10 a bowl, totally worth it though, they're sooo filling! My only complaint is that I also order no blueberries which is a staple on the bowl along with banana and strawberry. When I ask if they can just replace the portion of blueberry with a little extra banana or strawberry whatever they tell me that they can't replace things and I'd have to pay additionally for more banana or strawberry. That just seems so dumb to me. Like why can't they just throw in an extra strawberry, I'm leaving out the blueberries I'm technically still paying for them.. it doesn't matter I'm still gonna go there for more bowls it's just annoying, makes me feel like I'm being hustled you know? If it wasn't for that, I'd give them 5 stars. read more

Nice environment and good bowls. Only issue I have is with pricing and changes. I wanted pitaya toppings ($9) with açaí base ($8 for açaí bowl) i was being charged $9 for pitaya plus upcharhe for cheaper base. Doesn't make sense for the upcharge after increasing all prices due to operational costs. read more

I enjoy the açaí bowls and green bowls here very much (only two items I've tried), but I'm not sure why they bother letting you place orders for pick up. The last three times I called in advance, I arrived to find out they hadn't even begun making my bowl. I place the order in advance so I can pop in, grab it, and make it to work on time. It's not too much to expect that it would be prepared by the time I get there. read more

Our family had been to the Sobol location in St. James and once we heard there was one in Hauppauge we thought we'd give it a try. We entered the store at 805pm and as soon as we entered we were told in a very brusque and dismissive manner that " WE ARE CLOSED " by a young heavyset blond with long hair in a ponytail. Granted we were a little late, but she left the door open and customers were still inside. I don't know if it was the color of our skin but at any rate, she made is feel us feel unwanted. As the manager of the store, if people are already inside it would behoove you to serve them for they will always remember the kindness. At any rate we left without saying a word and went to YOGURTINI in SMITHTOWN, who kindly filled out our order in 15 min. as we left with $100.00 worth of food. When your employees are rude, you lose. Will never go to your store or another SoBol for that matter. DO NOT GO to SoBol Hauppague...POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. read more
