Been a big fan of SoBol since it opened. Their bowls are a great portion for their price! If I am in a hurry, I will call ahead so my bowl is ready when I get there. Even if I don't call ahead, their service for bowls are rather quickly. They have a great variety of bowls, smoothies and hot items! My go to is a regular acai bowl with no coconut and almond butter. The fruit is always fresh here so it is a nice sweet treat! SoBol has a great clean coastal ambiance. There is seating inside if you wanted to to dine in! Definitely highly recommend. There's ton on LI. Also they give a healthcare and first responder discount which I appreciate. Also love their rewards program because the more you buy you do get discounts as you accrue! read more

One of the better SoBol's. Always staffed sufficiently to work on your order - always fresh. Bowls are made well with nutty delicious granola, tart Acai and lots of fruit, coconut and a drizzle of honey. Plenty of fresh fruit. It's nice to be here in Farmingdale Village. This place was great! I am in town visiting my granddaughter and she took me here last week for lunch because she loves the place! A very enthusiastic and kind young lady helped us, I believe she had glasses and light colored hair. She gave me samples, answered all my questions, and did not make me feel rushed despite that it was a bit busy. I ordered the kids açaí bowl and it was delicious, very flavorful and healthy. Came here to get a smoothie for lunch and I'm used to the Sobols near my home where the employees are always very friendly and welcoming. I got to the register and there was only one other customer enjoying his meal and the young blonde woman at the front instantly had a "I don't want to be here" look on her face. Bad days can happen to anyone but her demeanor was rude which made me want to walk out and take my business else where. Pro tip- a smile or a friendly welcome will have an impact on any customer willing to pay at your establishment. The employees less than fantastic attitude overshadowed a good smoothie. If you kept up with my last reviews, you know I am a HUGE SoBol advocate. This is my first time going to the Farmingdale location and it did not fail to meet my expectations. Phenomenal as always. Acai bowls are refreshing are delicious. This location is pretty big with a parking lot in the back for added convenience. What is cool about Farmingdale's SoBol is that it actually offers real food. I was in Farmingdale Village for a desperately needed haircut & coloring. I had an early appointment at Le Che. I decided to walk around the village. I was looking for a new place to eat or snack. I found So- Bol. Since I am a health nut, I looked inside to see what So-Bol offered. I decided that I would try their açaí. I ordered a regular size bowl which with taxes was a little over $11. It had frozen chocolate ice cream, several fruits and chia seeds. It was delicious. The store is immaculate and the staff is super friendly. On leaving, to the left of So- Bol is a small restaurant that serves a full breakfast and a full lunch. I have to see the reviews. I believe it is called Grandma's Kitchen. read more

Love a good açaí bowl, and that's exactly what SoBol provides. Staff here is very friendly and has me on my way very quickly. I had a regular bowl + peanut butter--a delicious (and refreshing) combination. $10 flat with tax (peanut butter is an extra charge) but I couldn't tell you if this price is in line or more expensive than other places as I am just visiting. I tried to like SoBol but unfortunately it's just not my cup of smoothie. The smoothies have a bit of an after taste that I didn't enjoy. I tried two of their breakfast sandwiches and both lacked seasoning. I have a bit of an allergy to acai so I haven't really tried their acai bowls that they're better known for. Still, the staff are always friendly, it has it's own parking lot and there's ample seating inside. read more

Great açaí place in town. I love the decor and ambiance. The açaí bowl was delicious. They don't have any other richer food items yet but will have in the future. There seem to be an excessive number of employees who took a very long time to make two açaí bowls considering we were the only customers present. I guess that will improve with time. SoBol in Farmingdale Long Island has messed up my order every single time. I use to go to Bango Bowls and never had a problem. My first order barely had any flavor and tasted like it was watered down. My last 2 orders they forgot to put certain ingredients or accidentally added an ingredient when I didn't ask for it. My boyfriend is allergic to honey and I specifically asked for no honey for his bowl. I also asked for peanut butter on mine and there wasn't any...I also found a random almond while I was eating. I don't understand why they mess up each time when most of them where online orders where you can just read it. Never going back to SoBol in Farmingdale. They seem to "half-ass" people's orders. read more

Been coming here since they opened and usually not disappointed but today I went in and got a regular bowl and now you can add 6 chocolate chips to your bowl for a $1.20. I was so excited to waste my money that when I took the lid off my bowl with those 6 chocolate chips I nearly cried tears of joy. I'm so so glad that they have this new option to rip people off. After going up with the prices you think we would get more Açaí from our açaí bowl No i get more Granola in my bowl very little açaí fruits after you guys went up 8.69 for a regular bowl. Stopped by here on the way to a meeting and needed something quick and healthy after the train. It didn't disappoint. Staff is super friendly and didn't mind all my specifications to my açaí bowl: 1) asked for almond milk instead of soy, 2) asked for peanut butter but needed to check to see if it had sweeteners in it. Super fast and it was delicious. The only thing (that didn't warrant one less star) I'd like to see is an option for truly sugar-free options. It was much sweeter than other bowls Ive had and I suspect there's sugar in the coconut flakes, granola, and almond milk. Not a problem if you don't mind and I'll still come back and maybe try something that can easily be ordered without sugar. read more

This place is a rip off... my son wanted a strawberry smoothing with a few açaí berries and his drink went from $7 to $9. The menu clearly states that this drink was supposed to be $6.95 plus tax. Jesus Christ, i cant even eat mine. I ordered the green bowl, & was really looking forward to eating the goey green part on the bottom, but couldnt because it was so frozen & cold it's literally hurting my teeth to eat right now, i ate off the top which was delicious, but since the green part on the bottom is so frozen it froze my cookie butter into one glob and i couldnt smooth it around on my fruit. Ill give this place one more shot.. but if the bottom is frozen & its too cold for my teeth to bare.. ill just have to skip out... as im typing this im trying to eat the bottom of the green part and it is frozen icee slushy & just hurts to eat ... its the same temperature and consistency of an Italian ice.. its like a spinach and kale italian ice.. very weird.. in the garbage it goes read more

Everything is delicious from here! But their prices are ridiculous. You can get the same things at Bango Bowls for literally almost half the price. I'm an avid Sailway Nitro drinker. I always go to Bango Bowls in Massapequa and get two 24oz (48 ounces in total) coffees. That comes to $14.66. At Solbol I paid almost $18 for ONE 24 OZ. Never going there again. Not bashing the taste, quality, or atmosphere, just the prices. read more

Great experience all around! The young lady Alexa had amazing energy greeting me as I entered this shop for my very first visit! I was a tad confused about their product line but this was immediately dispelled as my comfort level increased when I learned I could order a regular egg sandwich. I got a basic one with 2 eggs over easy with bacon (they don't carry sausage) on a roll. I asked for a little butter on the roll and she said yes no problem I'll throw it in. She asked how I like my eggs and off she went to tell the cook. A few minutes later Alexa emerged with my purchase in a bag WITH NAPKINS! I complimented her on her terrific attitude and she delightfully responded, as expected. The egg sandwich tasted delicious although it wasn't as hot as I'd have liked. It came to $4.62 which wasn't cheap but also wasn't too expensive considering the fresh perfect taste. I'll be back! read more

Each and every time I've come to this location I am extremely pleased with the service. The employees here are wonderful, fast paced and very helpful! The first time I went I got the mango pitaya bowl and it was delicious! The other times I chose the original bowl with added Nutella. They have it down to a science I swear. Because they put just the right amount of everything In and it's always amazing. Last time I went I asked to use the bathroom and I couldn't believe how amazingly clean it was! I almost thought I transported into a wealthy person's home bathroom LOL it was the best public bathroom I have ever come across! The rest of the store is very spacious, clean, and nicely designed as well. To be honest I have not been to any other SoBol locations since I live in Farmingdale it is most convenient, but I've heard nothing but great things about the other locations as well! read more

Ordered 2 bowls by phone today at 1050 and was told my order would be ready in a few minutes. I arrived at 1115 and the same person that took my order rang me up and said it would be a few more minutes. I questioned if my order was ready and I was told yes, it was being put in to the bag. I then heard another employee say they were out of strawberries. I asked the person who took my order if it was really ready and she admitted that it was not yet started. I asked how she planned on fulfilling my order without strawberries and all she could come up with was, "I'm sorry, we are very busy today." Meanwhile, there were 3 people in the store who all ordered after me. I usually go in there around 0730 and there's never an issue. I heard the Pete's Deli on Main St. near Staples st. Has Açaí bowls now. Time to give them a try. read more
