One of the most interesting, fun and beautiful cultures in the world. The performers were awesome…read more It was good to hear the Island Style music. And to see the dancers. You don't have to be Polynesian to attend, the festival is open to everyone. Good shows, good peeps, good grub... good times. The event is free to attend! The line for the shaved hawaiian ice is always long! Although I do wish they had more vendors and the lines aren't so long for the food. I'm always hoping to one day see Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson there lol or like Troy Polamalu... sweet! If you've ever been to Hawaii you know there are some very great quality Hawaii brands (such as Island Heritage) that you can only get over in Hawaii, or ship with steep shipping charges. I bought beautiful towels, lunch totes and jewelry. Hearing the Hawaiian music as you stroll into the festival and seeing all the dances really makes you feel like you're at the best luau in Honolulu. All in all a good time to be had!

It's a pretty small festival right in front of uwajimaya in downtown Renton. Theres performances…read morethroughout the day as well as a couple of booths such as tshirts, arts and crafts. For food, they have a variety of entree such as kalua pig with rice, they also have shave ice and malasada. I wish they have spam musubi. They also have macadons which are serving macarons, macaron ice cream and pinks push pop. It's my first time attending this and for some reason, I thought it would be bigger.

Last time we had Patrick's food was in June when he catered for our 40th anniversary…read more Today we were at a Pokémon tournament since early morning. Patrick's is only 17 miles away from the convention center. So of course we had to go. As soon as we walked in Patrick greeted us, and gave me a hug. Thanking us for visiting today. They were totally out of lau lau. Patrick said call next time and they wil save it for me. So I ordered chicken long rice my usual. It hit the spot since I've been sick all week. We also got too much desserts. All good but that guava cake is delish. Place closes at 3pm, we got there at 1pm and the place was still hopping with happy people. Met this sweet young couple that came from Bremerton to get an abundance of cakes. Place is not large but it's clean, and reminds me of the islands.

I love how friendly everyone is and every time we go Patrick's there connecting with everyone. I absolutely love this!! The food is tasty, healing and feels like a warm hug. You can tell it's handmade with care and love. My favorite thing is their Chicken Long Rice soup. The chicken is tender and the broth is so light. My husband usually will get a breakfast burrito which he says is one of the best breakfast burritos in the greater Seattle area! The drip coffee is also wonderful and fresh. The added fun of Patrick's is the puzzles they have on the table!

The Lamb is always what I come here for but the other food like chop suey and Oka which is raw fish is also good. It is a little pricey but you can't complain when it's that good. They also have another location in Fife called Steven & Son I believe. Would definitely recommend for anyone that's curious about SAMOAN food.

The food was all good but the fat content was off the charts. I had something that was called salted beef and it tasted like corned beef soaked in a salt brine before cooking it. The fat was even really salty. We got the rubs too which were lamb ribs. Super fatty so little meat but lots of fat. Turkey tail and curry were the non premium choices were ok, not out of the Park delicious but delicious. The Turkey tail and curry were non premium but they don't separate it out. These two should have been $10.99/pound but we had to pay $12.99/lb because it all goes IN the same box. Everything was by weight, which the method they use I disagreed with. They weighed three entire box at $12.99/lb (premium meat selection) even though I didn't get all premium meats. This included the Rice or taro side which is where they make their money because that piece of taro was also a pound by itself. We won't be going back. 2 Togo boxes, no dine in service, with not that much food came to $50! I feel if they weighed the boxes without the Rice or taro then we would've paid at least $12.99 less. The ladies were nice but that's just not enough for US to return.
