I have visited SOAR several times for their putt-putt. It's a great, well-kept course, and the wheel spin adds an extra challenge as well. I have not had a chance to try the obstacle course but it looks fun and is another activity to enjoy if you're there. My 7 and 8 year old had a blast with my wife and I traversing the four levels of obstacles here. The crowd on the day we went was light (roughly four other families plus ours). We all spread out and didn't really bump into each other. The staff here is very friendly, safe, and all around great. I would have to say the staffs interaction with us and the children was an equally big reason for the five star review. My biggest takeaway is how my children were able to gain more confidence in their abilities, approach and conquer a few of their fears, as well as in trusting us (their parents). Our trip here started out amazing with the kids starting out on the bottom floor getting used to the concepts of balance, being attached to a harness and learning how to perform a few of the obstacles. The first floor was our first challenge. We received our crash course on how to utilize Soar's clip-in system and we were off. Both of my kids had mini melt downs on the first "Easy" obstacle, but after some confidence building via seeing others go through first and showing them that the harness would hold them if they fell, well, they were requesting and pointing out all the obstacles they wanted to hit next. That initial melt down was kind of rough though... I thought our day was over, but they got through it. The second floor was a little more difficult, and the third floor was out of the question for them. Although, I did bring my oldest up, but he only watched as I did one segment. Each floor's difficulty raises as you go up, by the time you reach the top floor, things like balance and more full or upper body muscle groups are coming into play. We had a blast! Our kids were completely spent and slept well that night. The kids thought it was the highlight of our trip to Nashville. It was a little pricey, but for our family it was worth every penny for the experience. read more

We came here on Mother's Day for an adventure and had a great time! We got right in and were given a tutorial. We weren't aware that one of our children wouldn't be able to climb above the first level with us, but he seemed mostly entertained by that area and we felt safe leaving him below us to play. This was an incredible workout-very physical. And we both consider ourselves mostly in shape and workout 4-5 times a week. It was challenging and fun. And even though I have a healthy fear of heights, my husband was able to guide me across a treacherous obstacle, which was a pretty cool moment. The kids were sweaty too and got lot of energy out! After coming down from the tower, we played a game of mini golf. There were a lot of people there and we found ourselves hurried trying to avoid making people behind us wait. There is a shaded area with picnic tables, there is food and some beverages, and they provide you with a locker and lock/key to lock up your phones/loose articles while you climb. This place is very cool. A wild and crazy adventure that tests your American Ninja Warrior skills. Different levels of difficulty to maneuver your way through. The only thing is, I didn't do it (wah wah wah). But the others in my party did it. I would probably consider doing it, but for this time, I just stick to the minature golf. Such a fun place! There's a nice variety of hard and easier obstacles on each level with no time limit. I've been on Friday and Sunday and it was not busy which is great! I drive past this place all the time and finally had the chance to check it out. The staff was incredibly kind and friendly. I'm not a huge fan on the harnesses, the legs didn't tighten all the way, but I'm experienced so that wasn't a huge problem. I hate that the tails connect in front because I watched several people put their throat in it and if they fell that could really hurt someone but that was really the only downside I saw. There was a worker named Ashlin who was incredibly helpful and fun! She even helped my date overcome his fear of the slackline by pretending she had never done it haha! However, we also had our 15 month old there, and it was cumbersome to keep them entertained for two and a half hours while they climbed. I wasn't happy at all because we spent 192.00 for 4 people to do this adventure and I have ZERO pictures for my memory book! I literally saw 3 other adults with their cell phones out flashing away getting pics, I even brought it to the attention of a staff member and he himself didn't think it was fair that upon entering they made me put my cell in the locker smh I recommend that you find another excursion to do in Tennessee (there's a million) that will definitely let you take your cell inside. We just did the golf. Clean well maintained course. No dinosaurs or windmills, just a good old fashioned challenging course with lots of changes in the terrain. Do not particularly like that the curbs are blocks rather than poured concrete so it is difficult to get your angles if you hit a block on the corner but that is part of the challenge and of course all players face the same condition. Like that they sell beer with can holders at every tee. Employees are pleasant. If you like challenging miniature golf do not go here and cloog up the course for me. read more

Looking back, it's kind of mind blowing that I was 30 feet in the air, walking across wobbly bridges like I was Indiana Jones. It was a lot of fun, although "fun" wasn't the word on my lips while I was doing an obstacle. They had dozens of obstacles of three levels of difficulty. I tried a couple mediums, but then I fell. My family and I were treated with such disrespectful employees who told us to leave when we arrived at the 9th hole of mini golf. They said they needed to close and we had to leave. They close at 9pm and we respect that, but it is our understanding if you show up at 8pm and you're not finished with your golf game by closing time, you get to finish it. This is what has happened in the past. Employees are usually very kind and accommodating. They surely didn't tell us when we forked over all of the money that we wouldn't have time to complete the course. They wouldn't offer a voucher to come back another time. They simply said you have to leave and tough luck, we can't honor any refund, voucher or otherwise. What is happening to customer service in America???? read more

I had so much fun here. We went on a Saturday night and the evening time was so gorgeous to see the sunset, the moon and have fun on the obstacle course. You are clipped in so there's no problem if you fall (I had many friends ask when they heard I went). They have obstacles of varying levels at different heights of the tower, so if you didn't want to go all the way to the top but still try a "black diamond" you totally can. It's a great experience for kids and adults alike. They also have a mini-golf course so there's really a bunch to explore. I highly recommend and we will be back! read more

We visited Soar during a Spring Break vacation. We took advantage of the $25 per child pricing. One of our children is under the age of 12. An adult was required to climb with him. The adult pricing was $45. Unlike other adventure courses, he was able to attempt all of the obstacles and levels even with his age. This is an added benefit to the adult required to climb, as you are not also limited (while paying full price). However, I did not understand the adult supervision requirement here as I was only expected to be on the course. I did not have to be immediately near him or in the same area. It would have been nice to enjoy the picnic table area with my husband while the kids climbed. The obstacles are of various difficulty levels. This allows the various participants to challenge themselves to a variety of obstacles. In addition, each platform height contains a variety of difficulty levels. Even the highest platform level can be used by all skill levels. The climbing staff was helpful in providing suggestions as well as saving my younger child when he admitted an obstacle that was too hard for him. The climbing system was a bit more difficult and cumbersome to use than at other like facilities. However, my family was able to quickly grasp the requirements. And the system does ensure that you are continually locked to the track. read more

Took my daughter for first time yesterday. Staff was very friendly and well trained. The tower itself was pretty cool and kept my daughter busy for a solid hour. I'd live to say we'd be back but it's expensive! Just my daughter was $34. Granted she could play as long as she wanted but anyone with a 5 year old knows that last for a hour max. Another big miss / opportunity for them is refreshments. They have a fridge with soda, water etc and some chips, candy to buy but that's it. It would have been smart to have some kind of kitchen offering burgers etc. The biggest mistake in my opinion, and maybe it's a safety issue, is not having a way for the kids to try the upper level with their parent. Younger kids are limited to 1st level and that consist of about 12 different challenges. The parent either follows kid around to help or sits and watches - for $34. It would be great if the parent could get a ticket and they do the next level together. Great idea and a good physical event for the kids but pricey and limited options. read more

I went with my teen brother for his birthday and we had a blast. The tower had four levels, each with a variety of easy, medium, and hard obstacles. We got a Twilight Pass, which gave us access to the tower for the last two hours of operation. We went on a Tuesday night and we had the place to ourselves! 2 hours was plenty of time to hit everything that caught our interest. The safety harness is connected to the tower's cables at all times, so it was pretty much impossible to fall. The main building was modern and clean, but it was the staff who made our experience beyond amazing. Grace and Connor were working, and they were really friendly and engaging. You could tell that they liked their jobs and they legitimately wanted their clients to have fun. I initially wondered if the attraction was overpriced, but Soar easily lived up to the $30 charge. We left with big smiles and sore biceps. We definitely hope to return! read more

My husband and I celebrated our 2nd anniversary here last weekend and had a blast. Ok first off the price is a little pricey but there is a Groupon that we used to lower the cost. FUN! And I can't wait to go again. It was 80 plus degrees out so it was a little toasty but mostly you're in the shade. They have a mini golf area and a bench area where you can lounge and just hang back while others do the course. I think I even saw a sign for beer . We really enjoyed our time here. We did the ropes course and the mini-golf. This place is really nice and we were very well taken care of by the young lady Allie. She was very helpful. Our only issue was the price. It is $200 for a family of 4. It is really not affordable. I wish they would consider bringing down the price to $25-30 per person. I think they would get a lot more business. The outdoor picnic/observation area is covered and REALLY nice, the mini-golf is fun and well maintained, the ropes course is fun. Note: you can do just the mini-golf for only $10 so that is well worth it. I recommend it but I wish it was less expensive and I would recommend it to more people. read more

My 10 year old son, husband, and I went for a second time yesterday. The staff is very nice and helpful and the courses are well marked by challenge level. We were there 90 minutes and I would be surprised if we went through 1/3rd of the courses. So it's definitely worth the annual membership and going back frequently. It is good to know comfort with heights, adventurousness, etc of your child, though. I saw a younger child absolutely melting down and frozen in fear when he got out to one platform and was trying to get back. But, after he went to the lower level, tried a few of those, and experienced how the harness catches you when you slip, he was right back on it like a champ. read more
