The 2 hours spend with Rusty Toben on this Kidbilly team building event was priceless. We have a number of strategic initiatives and we have a remote working team. Our facilitator really helped us see through a lot of noise and create concise story through song. And we had a ton of laughs and good discussion along the way. I had several people on my team it was the best "team building" events that had experienced-- and they all have a very very high bar. We all highly recommended KidBilly for your next team building exercise. read more

My company booked an event for our 40-person team to write a theme song for our company. It was an incredible experience, starting with brainstorming what we do as a company in order to write our chorus as a group. Then we split into two groups and each wrote a verse. My group worked with Tiffany Goss, who is talented, cool and an overall excellent human. The other group worked with Rusty Tabor (who also helped us with the chorus) and he is absolutely fantastic, too. I expected this to be a fun activity, but I didn't expect to be blown away! I highly recommend any company looking for a special group activity to consider Kidbilly Music! read more

We cannot say enough good things about our experience with Kidbilly Music and country music writer Randy Tabor ... we were all blown away with his talent to get us to put the lyrics for that amazing song together. And the melody he added with ease was truly something to see. We played our new company tune in the airport a hundred times!!! In my opinion it could be our corporate jingle, no joke. Across the board we all thought that was an epic event that we will never forget. We LOVE the song and we adored Randy too. read more

What a unique and fun experience KidBilly Music Productions provided in terms of team building. We created and recorded our songs in one of Nashville's historic recording studios. Billy and his team were a pleasure to work with in regards to planning, communication, and collaborating on ideas to make it distinctive for our organization. We thoroughly enjoyed working with Rusty Tabor and Victoria Banks who were the consummate professionals and super talented. I was in awe of how quickly Victoria was able to create a melody and had us brainstorming and creating lyrics. I LOVE the song our team created. Without skipping a beat, Rusty reiterated creative collaboration at the end with the whole group which was the whole point. You can't go wrong with KidBilly if you're looking for a special experience for your team. read more

I was planning on offsite meeting with senior leaders in my company and I wanted our time to be extra special because we are celebrating our 50th year. I came across Kidbilly Music and was treated great from the onset. Billy was super responsive and answered all my questions. He sent me a list of thought-provoking questions prior to our event so the songwriter had a good understanding of our company and what I was trying to achieve. Then, we meet Rusty our songwriter, and he blew us away with not only his musical talent but also how we inspired and motivated us as a team. Rusty was fantastic! We had a truly exceptional teambuilding experience. And having a copy of the recording of our song will be a great way for us to always remember our time together. read more

We had the privilege of working with Skye and Tyler at a team retreat and it was a blast. They kept the team super engaged and produced a great song about a fairly esoteric subject. They also managed to help us make the activity fun and accessible for in-person and virtual participants. This was such a unique team-building experience - I highly recommend it. I'm still singing our song days later! read more

When we were planning our meeting in Nashville, we looked at numerous team building options, most of which were traditional (boring) scavenger hunt, etc. Kidbilly Music stood out as so appropriate to Nashville, with the abundance of music and musicians, that it would be a team building that would be difficult, if not impossible to replicate anywhere else. Billy was great to work with, always available and very adept with regards to planning. The 'day of show' was outstanding as his team of songwriters led our folks through the songwriting and performances. We had time for individual performances by some of the team leaders which really showcase their talents. Feedback from attendees was unanimously positive; virtually everyone said that while they were initially skeptical, by the time they were done they had a wonderful time. I highly recommend Kidbilly Music for your next meeting in Nashville. read more

We were nervous when we first booked Kidbilly Music, as this teambuilding event was different than anything our organization had done before. However, it was perfect!!! In less than two hours, a diverse group of employees came together and wrote a fun and creative song that increased their excitement about our company and our products. Of course this could not have been accomplished without the talented facilitators. They were so professional and did an impressive job with keeping 70 people on task and actively participating. We have even received requests from employees asking if we can make this an annual event. Considering it was hands-down the easiest event I have ever organized, I would do it again in a second. read more

My (work) team had such a fun experience with the two-hour songwriting course! Our facilitator, singer/songwriter Skye Claire, deftly led us through idea generation, verse writing, and recording. I originally scheduled an on site meeting in Nashville with my team that included a Team Building exercise with Kidbilly Music. Billy was friendly, helpful, and responsive to my questions and he is a pleasure to work with. However, giving the increase in COVID cases there, I decided to hold the meeting virtually. Billy was happy to do this virtually and had me look at examples of virtual sessions online and we sent forward with it. My team are all healthcare consultants and you wouldn't think would be interested in song writing. But that is specifically why I chose to do this! In the end, the virtual exercise was so much fun and everyone now has bragging rights as songwriters! These 2 songs have now been shared with colleagues, friends and family and everyone is impressed with it. I can tell you that I have held 8 Team Building events and this was among one of the best experiences. I would highly recommend it! read more

Billy and his team are a pleasure to work with! If you are in the event planning world like us I highly suggest hiring Billy for your next team building experience. Our group of 400 were broken into small groups with a song writer and created their very own version of a song to help explain what they do for a living at Power. It made for an intimate experience and something none of them have ever done before. It was also just good ole fun with lots of laughs. Billy was so much fun to work with and really made sure he understood our company and needs. They blew our expectations! Our group will remember this forever. read more

I wish I could rate Billy and his team 10 stars!! Our company hosted a week long event in Nashville in January. Our biggest focus was the rollout of our new company vision statements..what better way to introduce them than writing our own vision songs! In November, Billy flew up to Toronto to meet with our Executive team where we created the choruses for the songs, and in January in Nashville he, along with 5 other songwriters, guided all of our franchisees in creating verses for our songs. We had 6 groups altogether, and our finished result of 2 professionally recorded songs is absolutely INCREDIBLE. Everyone is still talking about our experience--HUGE success! Thank you so much for your hard work and efforts Billy, truly an unforgettable experience! read more

I'm a professional facilitator myself, and I must say - this session was among the very best team building sessions I've ever seen or experienced. It was tremendously fun, wildly successful, and deeply memorable. The songwriters are phenomenal - what impressive musicians - and excellent facilitators. I will be recommending them to clients and friends! What fun!! Thank you for a terrific experience. read more

We engaged Kidbilly Music for a team building workshop at our conference in Nashville. Our organization is the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation (PFF), and we bring together the entire pulmonary fibrosis (PF) community including patients, caregivers, healthcare professionals, researchers and the pharmaceutical industry once every other year. Since this year's conference was scheduled for Nashville, it seemed natural to incorporate music into our program. Working with Kidbilly was seamless, communication and contracting were prompt, cordial, and concise--it could not have gone more easily. They engaged about 50 of our patients and caregivers in writing a song during a morning session, and later brought those same people up on stage to perform our song for our entire group of about 800 people that night at our networking dinner. They received a well deserved standing ovation, and there were not many dry eyes in the house. I would wholeheartedly recommend working with this amazing group of talented musicians. read more
