She's rushing and not using good equipment. My last mani with Christy was just 8 days ago, and the appointment only lasted 25 minutes. My gel manis at W Nail Bar usually last 3 weeks. But my gel mani with Christy started to chip in 5 days and the polish application was very lumpy and even on my cuticles! The only thing this place has going for itself outside of Christy herself are the cheap prices. But your nails come out looking cheap, so the price isn't even worth it! After seeing good things on Groupon about Asia, I scheduled my appointment with her and headed on in (after exfoliating and skipping the moisturizer that day, of course). Asia was outgoing and friendly and immediately made me feel right at home as I neatly folded my underwear and hid them under my jacket. I mean, when you have someone touching, applying hot wax, and yanking out your hair, um, everywhere down there, you really have to feel some sort of comfort with the person. And so I proceeded to tell her all about my personal life. She rolled with it. Laughed in the right places. Acted shocked in the right places. In other words, made my experience waaaayyyy more enjoyable than a Brazilian wax should be.
