Had an AMAZING experience here this evening for my dads birthday. This location handled the Friday night rush on top of our very large party, 17ish people dining in, FLAWLESSLY! All of our 4 or 5 orders was exactly as requested. The manager is a great person and very friend and the staff did an INCREDIBLE job! We are new to the area and we're looking for a place to deliver to the country. Massey's was the first place who would. We have ordered 4 times prior to this post. Each time the pizza was hot and crisp. We are particularly fond of the spicy pepperoni they use. the garlic bread was flavorful and cheesy. The guido sub is packed with meat and Italian dressing. We will call again. I am glad that I didn't look them up on Yelp before I called them, or I would have passed on a decent pizza. read more

Really really enjoy the pizza here. Some of the best delivery you can get in the area. The only knock on it is that it's pretty pricey compared to some other options, but I suppose you get what you pay for. If the price were a little lower it'd be five stars no doubt. read more

Had lunch at Massey's today with my husband. This is the first time I've eaten at this location, although I have had Massey's once at another location. I was not very impressed at that visit, despite all I had about how good it was, so that was a long time ago. This is the first time I've been back to a Massey's. We had the lunch buffet, which really is a good deal at just $7.99 (soft drink included). There wasn't a lot on the salad bar, just pasta salad, lettuce, and a few other things to add to the salad, but the pasta salad was good and the lettuce was fresh. The hot part of the bar had a pasta dish that was hot and good, garlic bread, slices of a sub (Italian sub, I think) that was pretty good, and the pizza. I would not say I love the pizza, but there wasn't really anything bad about it. It was hot and fresh, with a thin crust. All in all, it was an ok lunch, even though I certainly wouldn't list it as my favorite pizza. If I were rating just the pizza, I would say 3 stars. But since the pasta salad was good, the lettuce was fresh, the hot items were fresh and hot and pretty good, and it was a good deal with the drink included, I'm giving it 4 stars overall. read more

I called right at 9:50 to have a pizza delivered. Now this is on a Saturday night in Pataskala so I understand that not too much is open at this hour. When the girl picked up she asked "Pick up or delivery". I was excited that delivery was still an option and that is what I asked for. She was very condescending in her reply "I'm sorry but we stop delivering at 9:50 and it's 9:51". Without getting into the tit for tat on the one minute difference in time, she was very indignant about not taking an order after offering it in the initial contact. Thank god for Mama Linda's. They were willing to deliver 3 minutes past their delivery cutoff time. read more

We always love their pizza! You have delivery person who drove down citation last weekend as though it's a speedway, got on bumper then right around us and increased speed at least 50 mph heading out toward Watkins. We were on our way to Kroger and because the car got stopped at a light I got his license plate number hyx388? This isn't a bad place to get a pizza if local choices are closed or otherwise unavailable. I do prefer local over any chain. The service was pretty good, courteous call, got delivery in 20 minutes after my typical place had closed, would have been 45 minutes to an hour at Donatos. The driver was excellent, very friendly and professional, got an extra tip. The pizza was just ok though, it used to be quite a bit better years ago at various locations but it wasn't as expensive as the other chains either. Maybe it wasn't the best night for them. I will probably try their subs again, as much as I would like to say not the pizza realistically I likely will try it again too at some point but I'm not in any hurry for it. Was overcooked for my taste. In short, 2 stars for the pizza, 4 for the service so 3 average seems fair. read more

We didn't check the reviews before coming here and I'm really surprised that they are so low. However, we also didn't have food delivered but instead dined in the restaurant. We really enjoyed the all the way pizza that we ordered. The toppings were piled on but the crust was still crispy and thin. The only complaint I have is that many of the tables were dirty so it was more difficult than it should have been to find a clean one. Also the price is pretty high but we felt it was worth it. read more

Today, as always, we requested the toppings on the side as the heat from the pizza makes them soggy. We have never had a problem with this before, however, the toppings were ON the pizza this time. Giving this pizza place 2 stars solely for the decent customer service. We ordered the buffalo chicken pizza with a side of cheesy bread. The pizza is just not good. The bread was fine, but the marinara sauce was just plain spaghetti sauce (no flavor). For the price, it left much to be desired. I ordered a pizza plus an order of pasta. The pizza was delivered burned and barely edible and the pasta was plane pasta with very little sauce. I know there is an occasional mistake but I called several times and no one could help,I was told only the manager could help me. After calling several times asking for him and no response from him I finally gave up. I've been a Massey's customer for 30 years, but never again! The customer service at the Pataskala location is absolutely terrible. The manager (Roy) is disrespectful and has no idea what the term customer service means; in addition the pizza quality at the Pataskala location is substandard compared to other locations. Have always got a good pizza here. Ordered one last night and it was terrible. Ordered a pep pizza I think they made a cheese and realized the mistake and scattered some pep on top. Ordered subs one night, took an hour to get them. Had to call back to check on them was told they just came out of the oven piping hot. When they arrived they were cold, I live right across the street. Called and spoke to the manager was told they would send more out, I told him that wouldn't work as it was already late and I had to get up early to go out of town, I asked him just to give us credit for our order he told me he could just give me 20%, really you can send 3 more subs out for no charge but can't give me credit for my next order for the full amount. I am a convert! Donatos has always been my favorite but after giving in to my husband and son-in-laws requests for Masseys I now find myself not being satisfied with anything other than Masseys. They have won me over. It is a consistantly good pizza and I love the cronmeal on the bottom of the crust. Just recently tried their subs and I must say they are also the best I have ever had.
